The new Docusign interface is a monumental screw up. Loading times have increased significantly and extra steps are now required. At least there are rounded edges on buttons which conforms to new "modern" norms. Please fire everyone involved in "updating" the website. read more

Trying to enter an electronic signature requires a verification and ID Check by DocuSign. I have answered the questions correctly, but they say: "You did not answer the ID Verification questions correctly, so you cannot access these documents." This has happened two times with different questions. read more

DocuSign is one of the least intuitive interfaces I have used. I find it very hard to accomplish any new task, and tasks I expect the software to be able to do are either not available or difficult to do. When I do try something new I often hit error messages that mean nothing and give me nowhere to go. The online support has articles where the solutions don't match the interface I'm using, so they are often no help at all. Last, if you call tech support you can expect to wait a very long time, i.e: 10 minutes, plus. And I frequently get to the point I think someone is answering my call, only to be put back at the voicemail prompt for entering the queue. In other words, I get sent to the back of the line. read more

This company is a ripoff. After using them for 3 years I received a call from one of their reps asking if I had heard of Docusign. I told him we use it every day. The next week or so I got an email stating that I was exceeding their "Reasonable Use Policy" of 100 documents a year and that if I continue my service may be terminated. I talked to the guy and sure enough he knew the guy that called me before. Chase was the first guy to call me and Caleb was the second. I've been paying $480/year so far. Caleb informed me that if I want to keep using their service I would have to pay $2,500.00/year because I was sending 500 documents a year. His attitude was "Take it or leave it." I'm leaving it. Not a fan of their sales tactics. Tammy (VP of commercial) and Casie (account manager) did this whole thing where I'd get a "special" deal if I signed that day. This type of sales pressure is exactly the kind of business people hate. Can't we just get a good offer without having to commit to 3 years and over $12k in less than 48 hours...come on people. My CU asked me to use this Application and I consented due to the fact time was important. It was a mistake. The application crashed as I was at the security authentification process. That started a ball in motion that I do not know if I can recover from. 56 Escrows and 52 years in Technology and their Chat process recommended I read a document. Never will I trust this application again. I will be notifiying the CU and everyone that will listen to a failed end-to-end process that can distroy a life through their lack of humanity and their avoidance of professional assistance when required for systems that fail without a user/client/customer fault. read more

I really liked this program and used it often until they arbitrarily voided one of my legal, signed documents. When I called customer service to ask them to remove the "VOID" watermark since I didn't authorize this, they told me this wasn't possible. Since when is removing a water mark impossible? DocuSign set an expiration date of 120 days on my document without my authorization and will not give me the ability to extend it. They advised me to send the document out again for new signatures, eight months after the contract has been in effect. Worthless! read more

Customer service is curt. Service is non-existent. Getting off their billing is impossible. Thankfully my CC expired and so they couldn't auto-bill me anymore. As for the product, I had to set up an instruction manual to send to each new customer so they wouldn't screw up the signing process. It is very easy to screw up. This being because the communication on their application is as bad as it is in their billing and customer service department. I had a realtor use Adobesign when handling a deal of mine and it was easy. I'm checking them and others to set up on a new system. I don't recommend docusign. And by the way, I was using about 100 times per year and only paying $199/year. It appears some users are paying much more than I was. read more

I can't remember a time when I've received such poor customer service from a company. Getting someone on the phone takes upward of 20 minutes, and the people doing the online chat take 2-3 minutes to respond to a single line of dialogue. The company will no longer let people sign up for "Business Accounts," but instead only allows "Business Pro" accounts that are more expensive. I just want to have my documents signed! On top of that, there is supposed to be a feature where accounts can be linked to provide document sharing. When I called and finally got a hold of someone, they told me that my two accounts could not be linked because they were on different servers. So keep in mind that your available services are limited by what hard drives your accounts happened to be stored on. What useless nonsense. read more

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. All I wanted was a partial refund. The customer service agent keeps responding back with templated responses like a robot not even listening to my needs. They keep insisting the partial refund is on the way weeks later still no refund. Frustrated, I decide I don't want to work with docusign at all. I file a paypal dispite, they still to not refund the money. Now they claim the money has been refunded but not yet one penny has been refunded to my bank account after multiple weeks. All I keep getting are templated responses from "Mary G" that don't make any sense. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life, along with a dishonest policy by the part of docusign to hold people's money hostage for multiple weeks to increase cash on hand, rather then provide immediate refund the way they should. The worst. I signed up for the $10.00 per month plan and they started billing me for 2 $60.00 per month plans for a total of $120.00. I then tried to move to the free account through their customer service line. They told me I'm all set and WHAM another $120.00. I went online and moved to the free account and WHAM another $120.00. Been using DocuSign since 2008. This product is GAME CHANGER! Eliminate paper, stop wondering where your contracts are and who still needs to sign them, route them all using intelligent digital transaction management.......just awesome. I have supported the platform in 2 different enterprises. One with almost 3000 users and currently an organization with about 35. I have seen "briefcase time" for contracts go from days or weeks to hours or minutes. Specifically to their offices in Seattle....SO nice. Very clean, love the digital sign in process and the views of the stadium and the sound. Great company, great people, great service. I couldn't recommend it more. I have used DocuSign for years. My subscription came up for renewal and they automatically did an upsell on the services, I use the basic. They were invoicing me for over 500.00 on an annual and I pay monthly. I called Customer Support. The gentleman I spoke to said he would put in a change order to reflect the correct services and billing amount and when I saw that in the next day or two it would be okay to process payment. I waited, saw the change, and put in my new CC number and wham they took out over 500.00 even though the online invoice had been corrected. I raced to my bank to stop the funding, but couldn't do that. Since that day I have been on the phone with them for over 100 minutes over the course of the last 60+ days trying to get my refund processed. They agree I am due the refund, they apologize for their error, they understand my frustration, and every customer service rep promises she will have her supervisor (who is busy each time when I ask to speak to ) prioritize the refund and it should only be a few days. Each one of them sends me an email saying the same thing! I am beyond frustration! read more

Horrible billing department horrible over the phone customer service. They automatically put me on for one year plan when I wanted one month during I check out. I called to have them stop automatic renew the monthly subscription and guess what they still charged me and never took me off the automatic subscription. I called, waited 20 mins to talk to a representative name JOHN, with a very rude attitude and tone. I told him what happened and he said he needs to check the system to find out if I really did tell whoever the fuck to cancel my subscription so he can further assist me. This guy purposely put me on hold for 1 hour. Yes I waited for 1 hour on the phone for him to returned because he said hold on, and he never came back after I waited for 1 fucking hour. AND SUDDENLY MY CALL WAS HUNG UP. This is insane after I wasted one hour waiting. I am trying to write him and this company a bad review now. I wasted all this time and effort because they have the dumbest billing department and customer service on earth. read more

Cancelled my service with a customer service representative and they again charged my credit card. I called in because I unknowing signed up for a monthly subscription. This company billed my account for six months and only reimbursed for 1 1/2 months. So on a Sunday, this company again attempted to charge my credit card. We called the support office and they then stated that we would have to login to the account and cancel which is what we were not told to do when we initially cancelled. They now stated that they would not refund the new charge because the service was not cancelled. This is one of the worst customer service con-jobs I have ever witnessed. Customers need to be careful when signing up for their service as they do not play fair when someone is cancelling or test running their product. read more

NO TECH SUPPORT. I paid $240 for this program because it is my industry's standard...I guess that allows Docusign to slack off with ever responding to technical issue inquiries. I could not get on to the program to send time sensitive contracts to my clients, contacted DS several times to get some resolution with no response. I will have to take this up with GLVAR to let them know that we need to get a new vendor since I'm not the only one experiencing these types of problems. This company is costing us money and time. It doesn't want to do its job, then let's get rid of it. There are other e-sign service providers out there who actually know what customer service is about. Signed up for Docusign via annual payment; wasn't what I needed so requested a refund in accordance with their refund policy. Received an email the next day that it had been reviewed and approved. It is now 27 days later (NOT the "14 business days" cited in their policy) and no refund has appeared in my account. Their reply to my phone calls requesting status updates was "it's been approved on our end". So, now they're insinuating my bank's been holding my refund for 12 days. Not buying it. Hopefully I'll be able to get it straight with my bank assuming (not necessarily a wise choice) that Docusign has a clue what they're talking about... Pure trash customer service. read more

As a technical person I can say that I have witnessed errors in the program, but was able to find work around. Docusign works and works well for what I needed. However the problem that pushed me over the edge to post this note is that I have 6 months of my plan left. my company started using another e-sign company and gave me free use of that, so when I called today to stop docusign from auto-billing my credit card, they said they couldn't do that and recommended that I call back a day or two before it renews. YEA RIGHT. Meanwhile this phone call took over 13 minutes for him to tell me that information (putting me on hold over 3 times). the only other thing they offered was to close the account now and loose my remaining time. The company is acting like they have a right to hold your credit card hostage. This should not be and I base my entire review on their unethical billing practices. read more

If you think the customer service is bad just wait until you try to cancel. I called a month in advance to cancel and was told it would be. If you try to pull your credit card early they will shut you down immediately. A month later I rec another charge for a year on my credit card. I called again to cancel. They told me they would cancel immediately but would have to submit to billing about a refund and wasn't sure if I would get one. The CEO is stepping down, all support is out of the country and if you try to reach support on a weekend or evenings, you will listen to terrible music for upwards of 15-20 minutes before a recording comes on and states they will call you back right sway.But don't hold your breath. I was just sent two documents to sign. One came in through Adobe sign the other through Docusign. I have never used either program before. I breezed through the Adobe one but navigating Docusign was absolute hell. First it asked me to allow it to access my Google cloud account and allow it to manage my files. Somewhat uncomfortable with that. One I got it it was pure hell. I am not a computer novice .This program is not at all user friendly. I had no idea what I was doing. Absolute crap. read more

His response came in an email stating that I have to pay. Worst "support" ever. They basically give you very superficial and generic videos and PDF instructions and everything on their site links back to those inferior resource materials. Then if you call them with a question or speak to your rep (as a new user) they'll constantly ask if you've read the materials online when the material online is basically for demonstration/sales purposes and fails to go into any detail beyond what anyone with basic computer experience could figure out. Another thing that's annoying is that they encourage you to post your questions on their message board in the hopes that some other user will answer it. It's quite honestly the blind leading the blind with most posts going unanswered. We don't work for DocuSign. Why would anyone want to spend their free time not only struggling to get their own issues resolved but go in and fill DocuSign's service gap by answering questions for other users? They used to have Live Chat support but that looks like it's been taken down, probably because it took (not kidding) 10 minutes just for them to pull up a single screen and follow along w/ your account and what you were saying. Also account managers are basically impossible to get a hold of once you sign a contract for service. I mean it's like that everywhere I suppose, but it's embarrassingly obvious with this company. Our account manager was calling CONSTANTLY when he was trying to close some "special pricing" service deal with us but as soon as we signed up and had questions as to how to actually USE the program after we were "trained", he was M.I.A and suddenly impossible to get a hold of: UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

Completely and utterly useless. Chat does not work, no one answers help line. "New Experiece" is the most gimped piece of software I have ever used. Honestly wish I had shopped around before upgrading my account. I did the 5 documents a month. In the first month 1 document I was trying to send I needed to delete the instruction pages out and I did the document looked FINE when I sent. But then when I reviewed to sign it the pages I deleted were back and it deleted the final 2 pages of the document. So I had to download a PDF printer to manually print the document to PDF so that I didn't have to use their editor. So I lost TWO sends for the month and now have to wait til the "next month" begins before I do anymore. I'm so unbelievably disappointed. I may look into cancelling. read more
