Terrible experience, can't follow instructions and argued with me about the completion of an affidavit.

I would not recommend using this process server. My experience was extremely stressful and…read moreunprofessional during an already difficult time involving a harassment case. There were repeated delays in attempting service, and communication was inconsistent throughout. At one point, the server shared personal issues that were affecting her ability to complete the job, which should NOT impact a client's case. I have documentation where she told me she would send service via social media, however, when I confirmed if it was done, as stated, it was not. I was told that multiple service attempts had been made; however, when I asked a simple question about whether the residence had a Ring camera, which would confirm those attempts), there was hesitation and an incorrect response. I knew they had a ring doorbell; and, 3 Police Officers who were attempting service also confirmed they had a ring doorbell camera. This raised serious concerns and validated my suspicions whether service attempts were actually being made; they weren't. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency when her contact information changed (her number charged) and I was not informed. Required service updates were also not filed with the court in a timely manner. Overall, this experience caused unnecessary ADDITIONAL stress and delays in a time-sensitive legal matter. I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options before hiring. I have a lot of documentation and instead of filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office and Better Business Bureau, I'm starting with a review through Yelp. Given the lack of timely service, communication issues, and overall experience, I believe a refund is warranted.

Extremely fast, reliable, responsive process server. I called Michelle to inquire about her…read moreservices and she was able to answer my questions. I entered all the data needed into her website and paid for her service. Michelle took care of that service with provided evidence and proof within just a few days. I called again once the process service was completed to ask a few questions about what happened and she promptly answered any concerns I had. I highly recommend Michelle and would use her again in a heartbeat. Ive attempted to call many process servers and none showed the competency like Michelle did.

I am a lawyer in California and have done business with numerous process servers. I uploaded the…read moredocuments on the ABC website and they were served in downtown New York City the next morning. It was incredibly fast. The proof of service they provided was not the one I sent them to fill out. It was one that the process created correcting two mistakes I had made. All this for $75 in Manhattan where you can't get lunch for $75. I am very pleased. I usually check Yelp reviews before I do business with anyone but I didn't do it with ABC. If I had I would not have used them. I have never seen so many negative reviews for a business on Yelp. If ABC wants to avoid future bad reviews they need to advertise their services as "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back". Then tell their independent contractor process servers that if a negative review is left on YELP due to negligence on their part they are history. ABC can respond to this review and let Yelp members know if they have made any policy changes.

I ended up having to changes addresses because of this issue which added more $$ to cost of service. My service took an extra 10 days because they did not follow the instructions on my "rush" job. The servers can only follow through on information they receive. Very disturbing. Neighbors reported that the servers were uninformed. I cannot recommend this business. Next time, I will use a local company.

AVOID!! Dishonest…read moreand SKETCHY.. I started working with this company on April 15th of 2025 as a process server. (independent contractor) I have worked remotely through a number of apps for years and understand for the most part that there is little to NO human customer support for drivers. The issue I have with this company is the lack of transparency and privacy for the people being served. AND the terrible compensation for the process servers!! I'm going straight to the point here.. As a process server I knew that one is 100% responsible for making all copies of accepted jobs with ABC. They didn't mention the excessive additional costs.. such as with printer cartridges for a regular printer vs laser printer. Upon inquiring about this they recommended using a laser due to their ability to make more copies. Upon checking the cost differences.. a cartridge for a laser is $90. vrs $32. and that is for an HPxl . The amount of copies that differ is possibly only a few hundred more with a laser. So, either way those costs can add up. ( per advice from office depot) After the copies are made I would think we would need to protect the PRIVACY and confidentiality and ABC would insist they be in a manilla envelope... There was no mention of this so... I inquired about this and NOPE... they said just hand them the stack of copies ..or use a paper clip... ( was their comment from ABC) Each job with ABC the min. amount of copies- which they don't share upfront- can run up to 100 copies per packet!! I went through 3 cartridges w 50+ jobs that I accepted since April 15 and stopped a couple of weeks later due to the excessive amount. ABC reimburses .08 cents per copy NOTHING for cartridges for either regular printer or Laser printers. The other issue is that they don't state specifically how many attempts one needs to make prior to showing due diligence has been provided to close an account and get paid. You only get paid when THEY decide enough effort was made... Each job could be priced out differently. Such as $27.00 per job more or less (on completion only)..( no consistency with fees.) A process server could attempt to deliver over 6 times!! before THEY PAY you!! The cost of gas; mileage; wear and tear on one's OWN vehicle exceeds the cost they Claim will pay you.. Oh and if you are really transparent with your car insurance the cost for insurance will go up due to the amount of driving you are now doing. (So, factor in those charges too. ) I started adding up all my time-expenses and risks involved in doing this job and realized that this is NOT what I signed up for. I wish ABC had been more transparent upfront. They also assign someone that is supposed to be there to help you for a month... the guy I got ?? was worthless... I couldn't reach him- he wouldn't respond to reasonable email questions. The online resources for process servers are very limited and don't respond back promptly. My final decision to stop came when I had served and completed 2 jobs they stated -I would receive $27.00 EACH.. they finally paid me but for $40.50 That doesn't add up ? $27 + 27 = $54.00 Right? Well, I have emailed the top person who sent me to an online portal that still hasn't responded.. There is no one to call ; everyone that I have emailed so far doesn't respond. VERY SKETCHY business. Without process servers they wouldn't have a business. The pay is WAY below min. wages. This company is NOT TO BE TRUSTED to work with!!! If you are a process server or want to be.. GO elsewhere!!!

For those who lean toward the former approach, Adrienne Keith is a fantastic resource, not only as a lawyer but as a calm, steady person. She works in Collaborative Law as well as mediation, and is active not only in volunteering but also in writing an insightful, funny, sensitive blog about divorce and family law-related topics (http://splitsvillenews.com/). While I didn't technically utilize Collaborative Law (she provides legal divorce services other than just that process), Adrienne was so helpful in carefully walking me through each step of the process, always calm, professional yet warm, and perfectly prepared. I truly appreciated her attitude of non-combativeness and of working to find mutual solutions to sticky issues. Should you find yourself or know someone who's in the situation of needing representation through a divorce or family law issue, do yourself a favor and get in touch with her. Plus, on the way out of the courthouse she handed me a really thick envelope....When I got home, I opened it. A lovely bar, of bittersweet chocolate. What more can a girl want when she gets her old name back?
