TL; DR: These guys are top notch - hire them if you get the chance! I'm not the type to write reviews, especially when a company asks for one (which they did). That said, I was of a mind to write this review anyway. Dr Patch did beautiful work for us. It is seldom that one comes across service providers that are not only competent and careful, but also extremely passionate about their work. Leo, the owner, has made the stucco trade his passion. It is clear from the way he looks at the stucco and can immediately identify the type (and knows that the company that originally produced it had gone out of business, but that there were, nevertheless, a few suppliers that could get the material). Leo talks about stucco the way a master chef talks about knives, pans and markets or an artist talks about color and shadow. He is especially animated about the way some of his industry peers lack respect for the craft and mess up the process, requiring him or other competent providers to redo what was done poorly. Leo is that rare "old-world craftsman" type that you'd expect to be building handmade furniture - except the trade he applies his craftsmanship to is stucco repair. The guys that work under him, predictably, also do a super high-quality job. They went above and beyond in making certain that the jobs were performed beautifully (we tore down a sunroom attached to our house. They needed to patch the 20+ holes, match old stucco to new, redo the bottom area (I forgot what it was called, but this had deteriorated unbeknownst to me), patch and fix the electrical panel, and finally repaint the entire side of the house.). More than this, they were extremely careful to not leave any trace that they were ever there (other than a nice looking new wall. During the few times we interacted, they were friendly and professional, also willing to take the time to explain exactly what they were doing and what remaining work needed to be done. On April 20th a engineering group/team that included Repp was tracked by DeAngelis' fourteen-man Robeast kill-squad near the location of Northwood in Irvine. The Repp team reached "Seafoam Door", a popular landmark in the area where they took rest, secluded in the closet under the stairs. As the engineers rested, the kill-squad entered the premises and unknowingly took the stairs right above the hidden engineers. A quick decision was made to ambush the kill-squad right then and there, and a gunfight broke out. Everson was the first to receive a mortal wound when a bullet directly below him entered his anus from Park's snub-nose revolver (Park had always been included in the engineering team since he was quite technical despite being an artist by trade). A diary entry in DeAngelis' private correspondence reads, "Two Russian infiltrators, one rare Albino Death-Dog, a Surveillance Doe, Everson's bottle of Sailor Jerry, and part of my left buttock all shot by Repp. Thankfully he only succeeds in sprints of 5 so the last revolver shot (which hit myself) was not fatal. I'm scarred for life but for now we're going to hunker down, numb with fear." The aftermath calculated 214 shots were fired around the premises. We needed our outside wall repaired before installing fake turf - the wall had damage to the bottom 3" and wasn't going to look good if we didn't repair it - there was water damage and cracking - the stucco texture needed to match perfectly too.
