Nice little pub. If you do not know where it is you won't find it. No signs. We sat in the bar area that had plenty of tvs. The service was great. The food was good. They accommodated our two daughters 3 and 9 months so that's a plus. Why the 4 stars? I asked for fresh margarita and the waitress said they make pitchers ahead of time with the tequila bc they get a lot of orders. Ummmm it's Monday and your not on the water, how busy could you be. Even though I had three, they were very sugary. Another reason for the 4 stars was my prime rib sandwiche which was really good but they did not take pride in evenly spreading out the steak as you will see in the pick. Great food and atmosphere. When the weather is nice they have patio service which allows you to enjoy your meal outside.

Passing thru the area and stopped here for dinner on a Friday night. The place was busy! When we first saw the hostess, she ran off to find a table and didn't come back. Eventually we got a seat at the bar. Could use a better system to keep track of tables. Bar service was fine. They were also very busy. Lots of local people come here which is great. Food was standard bar food. Maybe a little better than most. Calamari was average. The prime rib sandwich that I had was very good. Friend got the seafood nacho, which were very salty (topping very salty as well). Had live music which was nice. Parking lot was packed so parked on a side street. Also we thought there would be seating on the water based on the name but it is inland a block or two. Overall good experience. read more

The owners and managers of this restaurant clearly take pride in in their establishment. Everything is spotlessly clean and well thought out. The food was great! I had the fried rockfish wrap, and hubby had a corned beef sandwich (with homemade mustard) and crab soup. I also had a seasonal cranberry margarita, which was perfection. There is a pub side and a quieter dining room side. The atmosphere is cozy and fun, and service was super friendly and accommodating. If you are en route from or to the beach, this is just a short drive off Rt 301. Well worth the visit! (It does not have water views, however.) read more

I was in the area to visit a friend and ordered takeout from here one night. The crab cakes were delicious, packed with lump meat and perfectly broiled! I got the two crab cake platter with coleslaw and Mac n cheese for my sides, which were also decent. We had the ahi tuna starter, which I thought could have been more rare but the seaweed salad was amazing. We paid around $30 per person and were left full and happy. We stopped in when our daughter had soccer on a Thursday evening, place was rocking! Had a DJ going playing bingo giving out prizes. We got the bobo shrimp for an appetizer and it was phenomenal! We ate on the patio. Very nice. The river is near but there isn't a view of the river from the restaurant. But the food was excellent. Shrimp BLT salad with avocado was fresh and tasty. We sat in the dining room, which was nicely decorated and quiet, even though it was full. Very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had the smoked chicken and ribs - very good. So my business associate and I found this place in Centerville while traveling for work Their menu has a wide variety of options to choose from. We had the smoked wings. They were awesome. Came with a home aid sauce that was delicious. I had the fish tacos. It came with home aid pico de galo and guacamole. It was fresh and tasty. Ordered a simple cheeseburger... came out cold. Told the bartender and she was very nice and said it would be heated up. When it came back they heated it up in a microwave and the bun was soggy falling apart. Couldn't pick it up as it turned to mush. Well, it's slim pick'ins. To their credit, the table was held for the reservation and the service was great. As for the food, well we got by. I asked about the amount of breading on the Fried Oysters and got an honest reply "depends on who makes them tonight" They were quite good. French Dip was good but the nightly special of prime rib and crab imperial was bland. I know the choices are limited here as is the demand. I think it was the best we could have hoped for. read more

I met two relatives at Doc's today for lunch. It was a convenient meeting point and the reviews seemed good. We had hoped to sit on the outdoor patio, but a line of storms had just moved through so it was steamy and wet. We had a nice table by the window. The dining room was cozy. Our server was very attentive, and she was patient when we were chatting and it took us a while to order. I ordered the cold plate (chicken salad and shrimp salad with fruit). Others ordered a BLT and a grilled shrimp wrap. The food was fine. The only negative was the number of flies buzzing around in the dining room, which was disconcerting. read more
