The spa experience was exceptional: my facial left my skin glowing, and my best friend's massage was the perfect reset. We arrived early to enjoy the relaxation room and Himalayan salt saunas, which was made better by the coconut essence water. Our rooms were really cozy and nice. We loved every part of the wellness activities -- the evening yoga was beautifully grounding, and Monday's water aerobics and pool stretch set the tone for the week ahead. The healthy breakfast spread was a refreshing and delicious way to close out our stay. Dinner at Knoxie's Table was a standout -- seasonal and deeply satisfying (portions are generous). However, I will never be staying at this Hilton again. At least in the summer when the jetty is blaring until 2am. It was all a pleasant stay until we tried to go to sleep around 11. We kept thinking the music would end, but I eventually had to look it up, some Klepto garage band was playing until 1:30, which really meant 2 and the base was so bad I could feel the music in my 5th floor hotel room. The next night was not as bad with a lower key band, but we still heard it until late at night. My stay and peace at night should not be dependent on the neighboring bar. All the music aside, I wish there were a few better amenities like a bigger or outdoor pool or maybe a playground nearby. Otherwise, this is a solid place to stay if you have a Kent island wedding or a reason to stay there.

We had originally planned our stay around a free event that was supposed to take place while we were there. The event was cancelled after we booked. We decided to keep our reservation anyway. Unfortunately there is not a lot to do on a cold day in March in Kent Island. The grounds are beautiful. It's a lovely wedding venue. The bocce court was missing the white ball and there were only 3 horseshoes at the horseshoe pits. My one friend had to call service because their tv and phone didn't work and the their main lightbulb blew later that evening. My other friend had to change rooms because theirs had a steep set of stairs leading down to their bathroom. None of our other rooms had a strange bathroom like this and it wasn't mentioned when we booked. A "resort fee" was brought up when we arrived. They told us the changed systems which for some reason threw off the billing as most of our payment info didn't match. We had dinner at 18Twenty. It was just okay. My husband's lobster was raw. The chef apologized and they removed it from our bill. Again, great customer service. I want to point out the go as it's a nice place but it was very expensive and we had some issues. We wondered if the place was under new management and going through some growing pains. There's definitely potential here but it needs some work.

At least now, under amenities, it says "no housekeeeping". Imagine a hotel with no housekeeping. Steer clear, real dump. Oops, I see I already ranted about this experience. Sorry.
