I wanted to love this place. We got pizza from Doc's through most of 2020 every time we were in town because that was all they were serving (to go) and we really liked it. So now that they've been reopened awhile, we decided to try the main restaurant out. We waited an hour and a half for our food. Not even kidding, we ordered at 6:30pm and it came at 8:05 pm. I understand that places are short-staffed, and we expected a wait for our food as we've experienced elsewhere but not an hour and a half. To make matters worse, the manager came to our table like she was annoyed she even had to talk to us. She gave the understaffed excuse which we expected but also said they ran out of a bunch of stuff and had to make it from scratch in the kitchen so they got behind. Ok that is absolutely within your control and a warning would have been nice before being seated or after we ordered something that would take longer than usual. Yet they said nothing and continued seating people like everything was normal and fine. The food was pretty good and our server was very nice and attentive but nothing is worth a 1 1/2 hour wait. read more

I really liked the menu options. The service was just to slow with the food being average. I mean... how can you mess up grilled chicken on lettuce? You can't. Stayed here over a late summer weekend. Resort is hidden gem and upscale to the max. Pool and location awesome. Docs was good to better than average. It was casual with standard food and decent bar atmosphere. TV's and good rink specials. Outside patio is awesome if weather cooperates. Staff is average with spotty service at both bar and at tables. Spread a little thin but understand late summer is hard to staff. Food was decent with apps and basic foods straight forward. Dips were good but little diasappointed in more upscale dinners (steaks). Still a very positive experience in an area that is surprisingly upscale and enjoyable. read more

Very Clean; Nice Atmosphere; great steak and burger! Went there on a Tuesday which I noticed in this town is the day off for most restaurants. The staff was cleaning everything in detail. I appreciate a clean place and this place is. The nachos appetizer was good. Obviously homemade Pico salsa, chips fried to order. My only suggestion would be fresh jalapeños. The burger was cooked perfectly and very tastey. I like the fact that they have gluten free buns as well. I am gluten free. They were out of the GF buns but that's okay because I got the steak and it was very tastey. Steak, green beans and loaded baked potatoes all very good. Usually the chef on down nights isn't very good but the chef here cooked everything perfectly. We didn't order and salads but I did ask and they don't homemade their dressing which to me is not right. I didn't try it but I'm a cook and it's very easy. Limit the options and homemade them my suggestion to owner. Also your staff works hard I can tell...the woman on our way out also let us know the pizza is very good and that they deliver to the Wyndham hotel. Very nice to know. We had a large variety of snacks so we could stay and enjoy some drinks on the patio. The fried pickles are dynamite, the nacho trio was great and we also ordered a pepperoni pizza and chicken finger plate. Everything was fresh and yummy! We were staying at World Mark Grand Lake and I decided to get some take out desert at Docs. I had read about the coconut cream pie and ordered a piece to go. Waitress was very friendly. When I got back to our room, I divided the pie in half and took my first bite--WOW! This was the best real coconut cream (with whip cream-not meringue topping) pie my wife and I have eaten! It compares to some we had in South Carolina. I don't know about the meals, but the pie is outstanding! read more

We were staying at the hotel for a week. We went there the first day and there was a table next to us that waited over 45 min for their order then it came out wrong so they asked for the manager twice before anyone came out. We continued to go there the next couple days and every single time we waited an extremely long time for our food also many things on the menu they were out of. We came slightly after the main dinner rush. The cheese plate was mediocre. One of the berries on it actually had mold growing on it. The cheese was also uninteresting, no cheeses which were surprises or something I had never tried, they might as well have been purchased at Walmart. My date ordered pasta without cheese, however they made the pasta with cheese and due to this her food was late. The redone bowl of pasta also lacked prosciutto despite it being listed as an ingredient on the menu. I ordered a steak cooked to medium. The steak I received was nearly well-done resulting in diminished flavor. This was my first time here and I am disappointed. read more

The food was fine but the service left a lot to be desired. My wife received the wrong wine. The server never came back so when the person brought our food, we asked for the wine. Still did not get it. I finally had to go to the bar to get the wine. We did let them know they brought noir instead of grigio. Did they take to noir off the bill? No. We ate our meals and finished our waters and yet we have yet to see the waitress. The bartender brought over waters and to go containers for our food. The waitress finally came to ask if we wanted desert. Nice place and decent food but I will not go back just because of the lack of service. read more

Drive from Bartlesville to have a relaxing lunch at the Summit. Called to confirm wether reservations were needed (no) but & when arrived we were refused service for not being residence & refered to Doc's. From 1-10 it was a 2 and that's being generous. $50 on a lunch that was very poor. read more
