We spent $73 ($90 with tip) on 2 burgers and 3 small cocktails. The cocktails were all ice. My burger was ordered with no bun and no side for dietary reasons. No tater tots anymore, limited menu. There were only 2 other tables and I wanted to tell them to go somewhere else! We came by boat a very long way and were sorely disappointed. We will most likely never return. This is not the fun Eddy's of years past. It's been going downhill for the past few years. We should have heeded the poor reviews! read more

Pretty bad. Debated on giving a one or two star but gave two stars since it was Sunday afternoon in the summer and they must have had a really busy weekend. Took forever to get anyone to wait on us. I think everyone was tired from from Friday and Saturday, but still.....At least our waitress was really nice. I made the mistake of ordering a vodka drink with sprite in it-the waitress said it was really popular and I thought it would be similar to a cosmo but so wasn't. They don't even have a drink menu to look at but they do have a full bar. They were out of pork-which was like half of their menu items! Ordered a burger without a bun and tator tots. They're doing their best. We are here for a conference, so the place got flooded with people and inevitably the kitchen got backed up. Also be aware that this is "lake time" so don't expect quick service. Enjoy your time with who you're with. Food was good, but nothing to write home about. I ordered the eddy burger but with chicken and a side salad. The chicken was grilled and not dry so points for that. Side salad was good. The millions of bugs were annoying, but I guess it's the price we pay for eating outside. The stars aren't for the service or environmental complaints. They are for the food. I was looking forward to a nice lunch on the lake so we went to Eddy's. My assumption was at Shangri-La it should be good. I ordered a ceasers salad with chicken for $16, it came in a plastic box and the lettuce was brown and tasted old and foul. I was so disappointed, I sent it back when the waitress finally came back to the table. I really expected much more from a place with the history that Shangri-La has. The place was far from busy. This bar is good in that it is convenient if you are on the water or at Shangri-La, but the food and service leave a lot to be desired. There is golf cart, car and boat parking for however you choose to come here. The water tastes funny and the food seems like it is flash fried out of a freezer. It is decent, but nothing to write home about. They can't serve been before 12pm on Sundays, either, so not an ideal brunch spot. For the money and the experience, you're much better off up the road at the other restaurants on Monkey Island. read more

This was the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant in years. The waiter Omaro never brought utensils and we had to go to bar and pick up our drinks we ordered after waiting 20 mins. Once we received our order he never asked if we needed anything else. All of the waiters were just standing and looking at us. read more

Visiting from out of town and had heard that Eddy's was a nice place to get a drink. From the get go, we were served by Page, a waitress that couldn't care less about the people she was serving. At first we assumed she might have been having a bad day, but as the experience continued, we could tell this was business as usual for her. Outside of the terrible service, the burgers were comparable to what you'd get from a small town Concession stand-- the only difference is that the burger was three times as expensive. The only good thing that came out of dining at Eddy's was the part where we left. If you're looking for a good place to eat by the lake, look elsewhere. read more

Get the cheese curds! Yum. Also, the rum punch drinks are good. It's a casual crowd, so come in your bathing suit cover up if you want! It's HOT, but seats at the bar are shaded. You do not have to be a member or paying guest to eat there. Golf cart parking available. Get the tots, not the fries, they were soggy and underdone. My burger was pretty good! This is a nice place to stop for a break from the lake. Lots of slips to park and quick gas service below at a separate business. Noticed previous complaints were speed of service and the food. They have improved the speed and the food is NOT snack food. We had a huge plate beef nachos and my pulled pork sandwich was done very well. Eddie's is new at Shangrila-la. It is an outside restaurant and bar right on the water at Grand Lake. There is dock parking for your boats. The new tables are wonderful and mostly 8 toppers with large umbrellas. Unfortunately the umbrellas are not large enough to cover the whole table. It was four in shade and four not. We ordered appetizers choosing the three choices. We ordered two to try each option. The wings were great as well as the other items except the homemade chips. They were soggy and cold. It is quite a wait to check out because of the computer system. There was a line of waiters standing, waiting to check out their customers at one of the two stations. While it was slow, we understand lake time and the scenery was great. read more

This place is what Im looking for in lake dining. Fun atmosphere, overlooking the water. We went for the first time 8/11/18 and had a great time. Joked around with the server and even shared some fried pickles with the couple next to us. I had the pulled port sandwich and thought it was very good. If you're on the island and want fancy, you probably want to go to the Summit. But, this is the place for lakeside casual. Side note: we purchased a shirt and hat and they are surprisingly good quality. I recommend those as well. read more

Great looking new place and actually good food but service is struggling. Have now been here twice, once during the day and another in the evening. Both times it took more than 10 minutes to be asked our drink order and once ordered it took forever to get our drink. The first time we waited twenty minutes because they did not understand table assignments. Ordered an appetizer and it came with our meal. Menu has already been scaled back in less than two weeks and the taco menu which was terrific was removed, total mistake IMO. Hoping this is just growing pains with a new restaurant but recurring service issues may keep me away for awhile. Burgers are very good. $11 dollar caesar salad is a joke, it came in a to go plastic container. Hope they get it together as it is a great local. read more

PERFECT place to stop and eat when you've been on the lake all day or if you just want a nice place to sit, eat and view the lake. I've eaten here for lunch on a few different occasions. Great little restaurant that serves common short-order food and some occasional other menu items. Better than average service from wait staff and you definitely can't beat the location. My 10 year old son contracted Salmonella from eating the chicken strips at this restaurant. I called and left a message with the manager but didn't get a return call. The Oklahoma Health Dept was notified by our pediatrician. Don't eat here! read more

Love this place! They do an awesome job adapting to the hurdles from covid and do all they possibly can to make your experience top notch. We stop and eat as much as we can when we are at the lake! Great food and a great atmosphere to stop in, have a quick bite, and get back out on the water! A drink menu would be a nice touch to have around! read more

Finally ordered drinks and waited 25 more minutes to get them. We were a party of 4. Disappointing after the place was bought by the hotel, we hoped the service would improve. Very disappointed. Used to love coming to Island Joes Kentena. They have no drink menu. 12 bucks for a burger with fries from a box.They were out of homemade potato chips. Had lunch there 7/6/18.. ordered the wings, 6 wings for $12.50 seemed quite high. Appeared well cooked, but 2 of the 6 were not done. Apparently they cook from frozen , which become unpredictable as to when done. Bartenders were very friendly. I never judge from a first time experience, so I will give them another chance. We came out to the lake with a time limit on the boat we had rented and heard great things about Eddys. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with bad attitudes. I could go into detail but will spare you. Took 2 hours to get food, waitress was untrained and unprofessional and we left disappointed that our precious time was spent waiting for sub-par food.
