Here at the restaurant now with my family. My husband, dad and brother ordered the bottomless catfish at $24 per person, snd I ordered the 'ribeye steak ' for $24 which came. The server brought a few bowls of hush puppies and after some time, brought a plate of catfish and fries for the three men to share. Then server brought my steak m. Looks like 8oz, and has zero fat in it. The men likes their catfish, 7.5/10. The 'ribeye' was not worth the calories. As a steak, I'll rate it 4/10 but as a ribeye, 2/10 is too high for it because it is NOT a ribeye at all. When the manager/owner came to collect my plate with my half eaten steak and asked me how it was, I told her it was not a ribeye steak at all. She insisted that it was a SPECIAL CUT Ribeye that she specially ordered. A good ribeye steak is marbled. This has no fat at all. None in the meat, and none on top. Not sure what cut it is but it is definitely not special in a good way. No wonder she repeated asked if I wanted any steak sauce. A good steak does not need any sauce, no wonder she felt that I'd need sauce with their steak. Never again. To think that we drove 2 hours to get here. Disappointed. read more

Cosby's has the friendliest service you can find. They make you feel right at home in their log cabin style restaurant. The sides (Cole slaw, hush puppies, and tomato relish) were really good. Their catfish wasn't the best I have ever had, but seems to be what a lot of people enjoy. Lovely little place we passed by happenstance! We ordered 3 of the $16.95 " all you can eat catfish" platters to go for 4 of us and we had so much leftover!! Arrival of customers at 8:15 pm when you close at 8:30 pm is cringe worthy. However, the ladies were incredibly gracious. Two of us had fried catfish. They are filets and the entire meal was served family style. The meal included hush puppies, cole slaw, onions, and green tomato relish. Everything is good but the tomato relish is different and very tasty. They sell jars of it if you need some at home and who doesn't? Two of us had cheeseburgers and fries that were quite tasty. Terrible service. We chose this place for our first father' day after losing our dad. The "patrons" complained about us toasting to "Charlie" "too loudly!" What a terrible excuse for a "community' establishment." We came to Grand Lake to heal and were left feeling rejected. This is not the Oklahoma way. We tried talking with the owners but they were less than accommodating. They made a really hard day for our family way harder. I am disappointed. Leaving this place a 1 star review is being generous. They charge over $20 for an "all you can eat" order of catfish that tastes like old defrosted rubber, and then they get angry at you if you order more, and happen to leave a piece or two uneaten. I've honestly had better tasting catfish that's come from the inside of a heat lamp cabinet at a truck stop, for way less money. There are only a few other meal options on the menu, and definitely no other catfish choices, so even if you want one piece of catfish, you have to pay the piper and get the all you can eat meal. It would be one thing if the fish were tasty, or at least somewhat palatable, but it wasn't. The first round of fish was cold and rubbery, which is why the second order was placed, hoping it would be hot and crispy, but we were wrong. We paid over $40 for two all you can eat catfish dinners and ate the equivalent of 5 pieces of catfish together because it was so bad. When we were asked how everything tasted, and a calm, honest opinion was given, the owners/staff got belligerent and caused a scene by making us leave the establishment. I suppose they could've had a bad batch of fish on this particular day, or maybe they were short handed and it caused the fish to come out cold. Whatever the reason, I would consider giving this place another shot, were it not for the way we were treated for leaving an honest opinion when asked. Everyone has an off day, but the treatment we got wasn't warranted. I suppose they will continue to charge these outrageous prices because they are one of the only dining establishments in the area, and have been around for a long time for that reason. I wouldn't eat here again if it were my only option for food. read more

Wow. What looks like a hole in the wall serves some of the best food around. The catfish had a great flavor but the hush puppies stole the show. The hamburger and fries hit the spot too. The desserts were also yummy to wrap up a wonderful meal. The service was also great with some of the friendliest servers around. My boyfriend and I were in the Eucha area and finally decided to eat here after hearing nothing but good reviews about this restaurant from associates and family alike. Now I question their taste. I have had plenty of fried catfish in my lifetime and have had better tasting filets from gas stations rather than this pricey all you can eat joint. The ambiance is nice and they bring plenty of relish, sides and hushpuppies out but we didn't come here for that, we came for the fish which isn't fitting for $15.99, more like $5.99. The filets were overcooked, super thin/small, grey (not white like I'm use to) and FLAVORLESS, or should I say fishy flavored. I couldn't get enough malt vinegar, lemon and tartar sauce on the darn things. Disappointing. I wouldn't come back here for anything. read more
