Scrumptious fish and chips! Don't let the inauspicious restaurant front fool you. Head inside and prepare to dine on fresh fish and chips while enjoying the buzzing atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff and locals adorn this place. So happy we went in.

If you are looking to experience amazing restaurant in Bray, County Wickow, Ireland. I highly recommend Dockyard No.8 . Upon entering I was made feel very welcome. The Fish&Chips, Dessert and Coffee were amazing! Dockyard No.8 is a must visit if you love Fish&Chips. The restaurant is very clean and has very clean rest rooms. The staff are all very professional and genuinely care about their customers. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great Restaurant from all my travels and life experiences. You definitely won't be disappointed. I definitely will return in the near future. Dockyard No. 8 located in Bray County Wicklow, Ireland rates five stars and more!

Awesome sandwiches which come in pretty decent portions. I got the open ham hock and a side soup and regretted the side soup because I definitely didn't need it. If it wasn't an ocean away, I'd be coming back because their baked goods also looked bomb.

Why can't we have this in Utah. This is the perfect brunch spot, as good as it gets. It's nicely located across the ocean by a SWAN SANCTUARY. Does it get more magical than that? They have outdoor and indoor seating. Their service, food, and overall quality is top notch yet they have a quaint coffee shop feel to it that makes it very welcoming. They were very busy when we arrived on a Saturday morning but still got sat right away. We were given fantastic recommendations and ordered the fruit scone, ham hock eggs benedict, and the full Irish breakfast. We had A LOT of scones and Irish breakfasts during our two week trip throughout the entire country, and I have to say this is the best scone and Irish breakfast throughout Ireland. The scone is so fragrant and the perfect texture. We had one then ordered another for TAKEAWAY (cuz it's not to go or take out in Europe). The ham hock eggs benedict were also excellent, the perfect combination of flavors. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere made you want to stay a while. On a beautiful day like the day we visited, we walked out and were able to walk along the water. Fantastic location, food, service, and quality.

My best friend and I stopped by for a light lunch, oh my! The staff is super friendly, food is amazing and the lattes are tasty. Clean bathrooms, one is located downstairs which can get busy with the crowds, but there are more upstairs. They have amazing pastries to take home or on the road like us. It's located on the water which is beautiful and scenic. Plenty of seating and free WiFi. You will be so happy you made the stop! Thanks for the great experience guys!

What's a perfect Saturday? The Greystones to Bray cliff walk followed by lunch at Dockyard No. 8 is pretty close to it. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but we managed to grab a bench out on the large patio (covered and heated for the winter) straight away. The sunshine was streaming in, and with my first sip of beer, it felt like it could've been summer. The menu mainly consists of sandwiches and some brunch items - we opted for the chorizo sambo on rye with hummous and rocket, the BLT on ciabatta and shared a bowl of the parsnip and parmesan soup. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was warm and efficient. Because we were sharing the soup, they even took the effort to bring out two half portions... that is just classy! Being tucked just around the corner from the waterfront, you're also a bit away from the touristy strip. The clientele was a mixture of locals of all ages, including some families, and had a relaxed buzz to the place. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to come back - especially for the patio in the summer!

Excellent! Great service, great food, great value. The Dockyard Breakfast (all day) is absolutely fantastic and if you fancy a little tipple, try the ginger beer (4% alc) as it is delicious!!! Recommend this place to anyone

Bray has so many places these days to go for decent bite to eat and what differentiates this place from it's competitors.... - Well prepared and tasty food with good ingredients - friendly staff who on every occasion have actually been a laugh to talk to - quick service - great location with savage seating in the front for those sunny but still chilly days! I'm not gonna lie I really like the location of this place and the seating in the front. It's got a nicer feel to it than the main beach front. My recommendation head there early see what the specials are (as there appears to be new ones weekly) failing that go for the BLT or burger. Great spot where I can see myself going every time I head to bray beach. Looking forward to see how this places grows over the next 12 months

5 out of 5 due to several reasons…read more #1: Amazing employees. Maybe it's because its the countryside Irish but as soon you go in you are warmly greeted. You will notice they are all italian which gave me an even more confident my coffee would be amazing. #2: Vegan option: I'm not vegan but they have great vegan option for vegans. But the non-vegan options were delicious as well. The croissant I ordered was buttery, and flaky. The strawberry jam tastes like home made without any added sugar. #3: Affordability: Compared to Dublin, this place is a steal. Finally: A++ go get your coffee and food so you can go walk around Bray or even hike up that mountain.

Cats! Books! Wine! Fresh, authentic Italian food! Owned and staffed by Italians!…read more This little gem, only a couple dozen metres from the Bray DART station, is quaint and cozy. It only holds about 15 people. But the food, coffee, and service is about as good as it gets. These people are passionate about what they do. I come specifically for the awesome vegan Caravaggio sandwich (on ciabatta). Everything is freshly made by them and unlike anything you will get anywhere else. Except maybe Italy! There are usually lots of Italian customers there, speaking Italian. This is a very good sign. The place is full of interesting old books people are free to browse. A quirk is an underlying 'cat' theme. Quotes and pictures about cats all over. Hand drawn images of cats by customers also adorn the walks, as to Italian record albums. I come way out of my way to come here regularly and will continue to as long as possible. Note: their fabulous bread selection comes fresh daily from the Firehouse bakery in Delgany.
