We've been here several times over the years, and it never disappoints. This visit was just as good as we remembered. I ordered the Philly Omelette with a warm biscuit and fresh fruit, and everything was delicious. Jane had the Summer Special - a Lobster Roll with fries, and she loved every bite. What really made this visit special was our server, Reilly. She was incredibly sweet, polite, friendly, and attentive from the moment we sat down. She made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our meal, and her outstanding customer service truly deserves five stars. The food is consistently fresh, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Whether you're passing through on I-95 or you're local to the Fredericksburg area, we highly recommend stopping by the Silver Diner. It's one of those places we're always happy to return to. This is an exceptional diner with a phenomenal staff, excellent food and drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. Will was our server and he was exemplary. To say he took care of us was an understatement. Will knew we were wiped out from traveling and helped us navigate the menu, drinks, and dessert. He's a fantastic ambassador to Silver Diner. My girlfriend dined on a fresh house salad (no tomatoes by request) with thousand island dressing. She also had their fresh chicken tenders with dipping sauces. The chicken was lean and juicy. I had the beat salad with a spicy sauce that proved to be as delicious as it was refreshing. My entree was cod on quinoa with asparagus and stewed tomatoes. Absolutely perfect from texture to flavor. We shared their brownie with ice cream. That brownie was thick, moist, and chocolatey. And our drinks were amazing. The manager also made the rounds to make certain everyone was happy. We cannot thank Will and the Silver Diner staff, from service to kitchen, enough for their stellar hospitality. Highly recommended!

For dinner on our first night, we opted to give Brocks Riverside Grill a try and we were not disappointed. Our waitress, Mckewen, was super friendly and helpful with both ordering selections when both of us have Shellfish allergies and later pairing our entrees with wines. For starters, we ordered drinks. My wife ordered a glass of Chardonnay and I ordered a Spicy Margarita. We shared an appetizer of Crispy Brussel Sprouts and bread rolls that came with a delicious oil and garlic dipping sauce. The main dining area was sparsely attended by other dinner patrons, with large windows to one side overlooking the river. For entrees, my wife selected the Roasted Beet Poke Bowl which she described as "light and refreshing" and I ordered the 16-oz Marinated Ribeye, cooked to Medium along with sides of mixed Seasonal Vegetables (sliced Zucchini & Squash) and Redskins Mashed potatoes with an order of mushrooms to go on top of the steak. I also ordered a nice glass of Merlot wine to go with it. The portions were generous, and the entrees perfectly prepared, and very tasty. If there was any fault at all, it was that the ribeye was a little too laden with a ring of fat rather than simply marbled, but otherwise no complaints. For dessert, I ordered a slice of Key Lime Pie and my wife ordered Crème Brûlée. Both were appealing to the eye and each bite beckoned us to take another bite. It is certainly someplace we would go to again.
