I wouldn't visit here, if I was you. I love discovering new bars in an area- this is not it. It's a dive, and it's very dive. Wine & beer only, ranch I asked for that the waiter "found" tasted rotten, and there was a baked in hair in my quesadilla. Black hair, in case management reads these reviews. The table we sat at had chipping wood and it was just all around off putting. The actual waiter / bartender was very kind, but dang, I am very surprised this place gets away with this sort of thing. Really delish fish tacos and smoked fish dip. If you're looking for a fun place that's kind of hidden yet on the water (a marina/canal view) with good music and good food, this is your new jam! You can sit inside, outside on the dock, or even at the outside bar. They have a nice menu with varied seafood options and landlubber options too. My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Four of us stopped in for lunch on Sunday 6/23/24. The food was good and a typical price for the keys. Open air style place but plenty of breeze and we were all comfortable. My fish tacos were very good. The tip was included in the bill. If you want a fancy restaurant, this isn't it but this is the Keys after all. I would eat here again read more

Didn't even order We came from snorkeling and we were ready to set and order but used the bathroom first A rude waiter was claiming to be the manager started screaming at my wife and kids that they shouldn't use the shower in the bathroom. She didn't even ask us nicely not to use it or if we used it. When I came and asked her that she should check first or talk nice, she started yelling at me and asked me to leave the place. This place is a hidden gem! Amazing atmosphere- very welcoming and chill. Outdoor area and raw bar. Great prices for locally caught seafood. You can also rent kayaks, paddle boards etc from a vendor located at the dock. Brian, the owner is an awesome person. Randomly stopped in to go paddle boarding and find myself coming back for more of the restaurant. The food is local and fresh. Awful and rude waitress service. Questionable raw food. Saw them throw raw oysters into the canal after a customer complained. We ended up waiting for more than an hour for our food. When we decided to cancel and pay for the drinks, we were threatened to stay and pay for the food that we never received. We don't recommend it. read more

BEWARE! BEWARE! Should be ZERO Stars! If you're considering a restaurant in tavernier, Florida, do yourself a favor, and do not go to this one! I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Apparently, ownership has changed as well as management. I can't begin to tell you of the horrible experience I had last night . I was unaware of the new ownership when I went to meet a friend for a couple beers and some sliders. When my sliders came the plate didn't come with what I ordered on the side. I explained this to the waitress she took it back to the kitchen, and returned to notify me that the side I request wasn't available and the cook took the liberty to pick another side for me. I then explained to our waitress that I didn't care for the side it came with and request coleslaw instead. She once again went back to the kitchen and return with a frighten look on her face and told us that the cook screamed and yelled at her because of my request. She didn't bring the side I requested but some burnt chips and said the cook told her that I had to have them instead because he already cooked them,(mind you I didn't order chips). I quickly refused the sliders and and ask for my bill. While we were waiting the cook comes out of the kitchen yelling and screaming at us about the plate. He was so angry and aggressive we both thought that he was going to become physical with us. The manager came over and she joined in and told us to calm down at the same time that her cook was screaming at us. Not only have I not had this happen before, I never even seen something like this. Totally inappropriate!! DO NOT GO THERE if your looking for a peaceful place to have a meal. Now if you want to be verbally abused and possibly physically abuse maybe this place is for you. Since the new owners, things have drastically changed...we are very disappointed to say the least! The woman who now runs this location is extremely rude and unattentive to customers. We were surprised to see it completely empty this week when we visited however, seeing the lack of response and service as we entered...she did not even acknowledge us or come to see what we would like, she sat at a back counter looking at her phone...even as she answered our question. She barely raised her head to look at us. There was no way we were going to order anything with her attitude and lack of customer service skills. We are a Asian and service she provided between the 4 family seated in front of us and the 2 white couple behind us differed significantly. I felt very uncomfortable. She was friendly and interactive with them, such as asking from time to time how they were, how the food was, Food was horrible! Oysters were filled with sand and not fresh. Ceviche was old and We spent nearly $80 to eat nothing and go somewhere else for an actual meal.They charge 18% service fee so we spent total $99.15 on my bill. I'm a Local so trust me spend your $100 for somewhere else close to that place have Habanos On The Creek food was good fresh and good price people are so nice and lovely, What The Fish?
