Very nice museum cafe. Lovely outdoor seating and very nice servers. Expensive, though. Aperol Spritz which costs under 6 euro most places was 9 euro. My soup of broth and veggies was 6 euro. I too a picture of the menu. There are tables and there's a lounge chair area. Bathroom are is great. Nice place to relax but be aware you are paying a premium.

Fun Cafe inside the Albertina Museum. Our service was very good and the menu offered lots of great choices. The fruit and yogurt smoothie featured fresh fruit, gelato and was refreshing without being too sweet. Great coffee and wine choices. There are salads, pasta, and sandwiches to choose from, all rather reasonably priced.

We had lunch here before entering the Albertina Museum. We sat outside, the day was sunny and beautiful. We had the gazpacho + beef teriyaki + caramelizad black cod with white wine. Everything was really good, the service was a bit slow.

    Nice panini and salad.

We were visiting the Albertina museum and got hungry, so we thought we'd try the cafe, despite knowing that a cafe with a captive audience usually isn't worth the money. However, I was surprised by how good the food and service was. My cold beer and hot panini sandwich came out quickly and were just what I needed. The green salad was fresh and nicely dressed. The decor was classy and the service was friendly. Yes, it was a bit pricey but that's to be expected inside the museum. Overall I was pleased.

The restaurant is located in the first district just behind the famous opera and run by DO und CO, an international catering giant known for quality( they cater to business class sections of different airlines , first class lounges etc..) The venue is classy , and our table had a magnificent view of the opera. The white linen was super crisp and Lucas our server very attentive The restaurant is known for fish with Asian flavors. So we had fried calamari which was flavorful but maybe a little chewy: so difficult to get this right!! Then caramelized black cod Asian style , a classic dish and this one did not disappoint: perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The grilled Turbot was accompanied by a puree of celery on a bed of lentils: very good. The shared desert was an Austrian classic: Mohr im hemd . It is like the English Christmas pudding covered with hot chocolate and whipped cream: nice way to finish a delightful evening. The restaurant is in the higher price range , but the quality of the food together with the view and the classy ambiance makes it very worth it. It is a place to celebrate some special occasion or just a nice evening out ;they also have a breakfast menu and you can have it outside with the same great views. That's what I am planning to do before leaving Vienna!

PERFECT SCHNITZEL ! Loved it. Very clean and a lot of locals here. We loved it and loved the wine…read moretoo! Fast and efficient service. Highly recommended by a local and they were right. Danke!!!

We arrived at Plachuttas a little after 1:00PM and it was not crowded at all. At first we wondered…read moreif we should stay. We did. Sat outside as it was a beautiful spring day. Menus and bread serving arrived. $4.80 per person. Oh well. We decided to share and we selected the white asparagus with a tomato and egg relish with a vinaigrette and an Order of Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and lingonberries. Our food arrived very quick. Both dishes quite good. Not the best we have experienced in Vienna and not the worst. - Wiener Schnitzel: best one of the week. It was thin as it should be and not greasy at all. Wish it had been cooked with a little seasoning. Salt and fresh lemon solved that problem. 4/5 - Potato Salad: excellent. Almost addictive. Loved the fresh mache and pumpkin seed oil on it. 5/5 - Cranberry Sauce: or as I call it lingonberry sauce. Average. Tasted like out of a jar. But good. 4/5 - White Asparagus: served with a tomato herb vinaigrette with chopped egg. Wish the asparagus had been served warm then topped with the vinaigrette. Would made the dish pop. Very good. 4/5 - Atmosphere: Outside was glorious. Area was spacious. 5/5 - Service: waiter was abrupt and would disappear for lengthy times. Must have been really busy inside. 3/5 - Value: somewhat overpriced. Think the mandatory $4.80 bread service per person put it over the top. I expected outstanding bread and got a very small serving of bread and a pad of butter with a couple of tablespoons of a herb mixture.
