Called today and Spoke to Forest. I'm looking for Porsche…read moreRepair and he let me know that he has decided to only service Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. He referred me to another shop that he felt would do good work on Porsche's. Although Forest did not work on my car, he was kind enough to take the time and listen to me, and help. If you have a Vw or Audi, I don't think you could go wrong by giving your service and repair work to Forest. He listens and seems to know what he is doing.

I have been taking my 2000 Golf to Forrest for almost two years now and have done everything from…read moresimple oil changes to brakes, timing belt, an oil leak, and replacing a lot of corroded suspension parts (was an east coast car). Service at Autoverks has always been top notch, and the prices are the best in town. I moved from San Diego and have owned four VWs in Bend and have never felt right at the dealer here (sorry). Forrest is always honest and upfront, and will always have the time to see you if you drop in, will return your call the same day, and will actually call when he tells you he is going to call. Service is fast and reliable. I have never had anything go long and most work has been done ahead of schedule. Probably the best thing about Autoverks is that they do no gouge you. I was scheduled for a lot of work, including a $150 repair for a power steering leak, and Forrest found a way to fix it for free. Service like that is hard to find in the auto industry, but that is what you can expect all the time at Autoverks. If you have a VW/Audi this should be your shop. I have owned many VWs and have seen the whole spectrum of service quality and prices, and Autoverks is definitely among the best.

C&C Auto has been great to work with on two major repairs. The first time I came in, it was for an…read moreengine leak, and the owner actually fixed a dent for me while he was at it! I was in shock. It's rare to get that level of service anywhere, much less a mechanic's shop. The second fix was for an A/C replacement, and they came in under their estimate. Everyone I've dealt with has been super friendly and communicative. I used to go here years ago when it was Steve's Place, who was also amazing. The current owner has been working there since Steve owned it. I would highly recommend these guys.

Took so much time to patiently help me by discussing lots of potential options and outcomes. Seemed very honest and down to earth and weren't just trying to make a buck and move me along. I highly recommend this great little shop!!

The cruise control began kicking off, and then some warning lights came on. When I got to Bend in the late evening we stopped at a parts store and they put the Jeep on the diagnostic tester, and it gave several error codes, but they said it would probably be ok to drive the remaining 250-300 miles home through some desolate country, at night with a chance of rain. When we got to Redmond we decided to stop and get a hotel and have the Jeep checked out in the morning. I chose Earp's. Good choice!! I was greeted by Jason, and he immediately looked at the error codes, consulted his mechanics data base on common fixes for those codes, and cleaned and tightened the battery terminals and the ground connections, while checking the battery voltage readings. After spending 30-40 minutes working on the car, he told me he'd be comfortable driving it home. I asked him how much I owed him, and he said no charge...just get home safely! We were back on the road, and one of the best things to come from this was the peace of mind I had while traveling North. We drove all the way home with no issues, no warning lights...no problems at all! Jason: you are my hero! I would highly recommend this shop for your auto needs.

My repair quote contained a $400 replacement item. I researched the item and sure enough it was a $399 USA manufactured part....discounted to $169. Not a cheap Chinese knock off either, same part #. Absolutely impressed with these guys

I got a service-while-you-wait appointment a day or so after my initial call. As it turns out, my oil drain had not been properly tightened at a different shop (not Gil's). Gil's tightened it and cleaned things up. The kicker? They didn't charge me a penny for this. I'm sure there are lots of honest mechanics in town. I'm glad I've found one here. I'll be back for all of my future oil changes now.

I called in and they confirmed it was set but sounded slightly annoyed when I inquired. Went to my appointment and there was 1 gentleman reading a paper waiting in the waiting area. No hustle or bustle at 9am. Seemed pretty slow. The employee at the counter was on the phone for a few minutes before acknowledging me. Somehow took him a while comprehend what I was wanting which was mount my winter tire/rims and remove and dispose of my old tires and put extra rims in trunk. He confirmed all my info and sent me on my way. Waited for a call that never came and so I called back around 3pm and David told me tires were done hours ago and called and left me a voicemail. That was a lie. When I came to pick up my car, they informed me one of my TPMS sensors was malfunctioning but they didn't replace it and told me to make another appointment at $80 to get it checked. Apparently, they were too busy to add an extra 30 minutes to accomodate a long time customer. I had 4 easily accessible TPMS sensors in the trunk. When I looked at my invoice, TPMS fail wasn't even on it it. They only told me verbally. NOW i have to drive with an annoying dash light for the next few months until I get a whole new set of tires next year. After Travis sold, it has not been the same. Service has gone downhill, the honesty and integrity I valued at this location for over 20 years has disappeared. Too bad. I was ready to buy a full set next season. But hey, they cleaned my windshield from the inside.

Andrew said they couldn't figure the issue out and blamed it on the wiring. I only drove the truck 200 miles in this 7 months because I was convinced it had a real issue. I took the truck to another diesel shop in Bend and they found the issue in less than 5 minutes in the parking lot. My truck needed a simple $60 boost relief valve. Fixed the full throttle check engine light and loss of power that I'd spent thousands to repair. A 1999 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke is basic enough I didn't expect a shop with their "reputation" to be so reckless recommending repairs that turned out to be expensive guesses. I would not recommend House of Power to do any diesel work. I can't believe what they were able to talk me into and hopefully this review will help others avoid the nightmare I experienced
