$195 bill for ten minutes of work. Very unprofessional as far as billing and customer service. I…read morewas given no estimate of time or cost. The technician was great at his job. He diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it in ten. He had to move a single wire on the outlet from "load" to "line." That was it. Ten minutes. The technician also refused to tell me what the cost would be for the work. When I called, the woman I spoke with told me that "the computer" had somehow mysteriously overcharged me for 1.5 hours of labor instead of 1 hour. Oops. They charge a minimum of 1 hour for any service (although there is no mention of this on their website and they certainly don't tell you this up front when you call.) Bottom line: I am still being billed $135 for ten minutes of work and no parts.

We had some cabinet lighting that for some reason was only partially working. And we needed a solution for halogen lights that were literally cooking my kitchen cabinet contents. Tony not only was prompt and arrived when he said he would, he had my non-working cabinet lighting back up in just a few short minutes. And he researched and found for us the correct replacement for our halogen under-cabinet lights. Now we have bright light where we need it, without the warming-oven effect. But wait! It gets even better! We had put up our Christmas lights and they were working beautifully until a person servicing out home did something stupid that caused the GFCI to trip. Ooooops!! -- no Christmas lights!! One phone call to Mark, and he set us on the right path to find that breaker and reset it. Long story short: They know what they're doing and they do it well. If they say they'll be there, they're THERE, and they get there on time, too. Highly recommended for the small stuff, and capable of doing the big stuff if you need it.

They didn't charge for the service call and had an estimator, Omar, out here the same day. He laid out all the options and we chose our new HVAC. They scheduled our install for the following week, which is unheard of in this post-pandemic world. Randolph and Bryan showed up on time and were quick in their work. They completed the install and clean up by early afternoon and took measurements for a new custom door to cover the HVAC system. Today Andrey came to install the custom door. He was also quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone involved from start to finish was top notch. The entire process only took three weeks, as compared to five months to replace a broken garage door in 2021 and a year to replace our kitchen in 2022. We already trusted Air Stars because we had them install Mitsubishi ductless units 18 months ago in our granny unit (to replace baseboard and wall heaters and to add A/C). We are very pleased with Air Stars and would recommend them.
