They didn't charge for the service call and had an estimator, Omar, out here the same day. He laid out all the options and we chose our new HVAC. They scheduled our install for the following week, which is unheard of in this post-pandemic world. Randolph and Bryan showed up on time and were quick in their work. They completed the install and clean up by early afternoon and took measurements for a new custom door to cover the HVAC system. Today Andrey came to install the custom door. He was also quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone involved from start to finish was top notch. The entire process only took three weeks, as compared to five months to replace a broken garage door in 2021 and a year to replace our kitchen in 2022. We already trusted Air Stars because we had them install Mitsubishi ductless units 18 months ago in our granny unit (to replace baseboard and wall heaters and to add A/C). They looked at everything and decided to take 2 water samples. One was going to be dropped off that day locally and one mailed out. I should hear something in a week approximately. 3 weeks later I received the local report after numerous emails to get information from them. The water report was for a house in Gervais not mine. Never received the second one and when I pointed out it wasn't my water report I was told " Water testing is not a service we normally provide, and we did this as a one-time courtesy to try to help you--something we don't typically do for other customers. Since the issue with the report happened on the lab's end, any corrections or additional questions will need to be addressed directly with them" They sent me a quote based on the wrong report, 3 weeks after their visit and then tell me I need to call the lab!! Well there you go. I obviously won't be spending my money with them. Ever.
