I am so impressed with the company. I called on Tuesday and they set the appointment for next day, even though it was not urgent. They explained the pricing structure as well as setting the schedule. They texted 30 minutes ahead to inform they were on their way. Technician showed up exactly on time, well equipped, and ready for work. He completed the new lock installation on both doors and re-keyed them in about 45 minutes. Super courteous, professional, and efficient. 5 star all the way. read more

Came same evening . Priced right and worked hard to make it fit. Clean and completed timely

This company responded very quickly to my request... Gave me a quote which included the price of the call to my home plus opening the lock to my utilities room. A locksmith by the name of Jeff came with all of his gear in his truck and quickly opened the lock and prepared to keys as replacements. All the while he was explaining to me what he was doing and how the lock is picked. Very interesting. Strongly recommend this service if you're locked out of your home a room or your car! read more

We just locked ourselves out of our house and called DMV Locksmith. It took around 20 minutes for him to get us back inside our home once he got to us (took an hour and 15 minutes or so) and cost us $210 to unlock the deadbolt and doorknob lock (with a discount). He was great because he showed us what to do next time so we wouldn't need to call again. We would definitely use them again. Overall, the experience was smooth and we have no complaints. read more

Great service. Daniel was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. Recommend them highly. Reasonably priced.

I phoned DMV on Thursday to schedule a rekey of my lockset. They said they would be there between 3 and 4 that day. Four came and went with no call. So I called at 4:30 -- they had been delayed and would be there within an hour. 5:30 came and went - so I called again to ask if they were coming. "The job is taking longer than planned" so they could come after that. But since that would be too late, I was told they would have me first on the list for the next day and would 8:00 be okay -- to which I said that would be fine as long as they were on time. I said I didn't want to be hanging around the same way I had on Thursday. Friday morning - 8:00. No DMV. No phone call (are you surprised?). 9:00 I called and cancelled my "appointment". TERRIBLE CUSTOMER "SERVICE". read more

Was quick to get me in my property and very efficient to make a deal with me .Enjoy the Gum Ball Machine. G.

I would definitely use them again, they responded almost immediately and were able to get my car open within minutes. The technician that came, Saen, was very friendly and helpful. The only part i didn't like was the cost. $115 just to open my car door seems like a bit much considering I'm sure between the gas money to get to me and the 2 tools he used, probably didn't even cost that much. They also don't make you show any form of ID or anything so it could definitely be a more secure process because I very well could have been breaking into someones car. Regardless, definitely recommend them if you're in a bind and need quick and reliable help! read more

Saen is the ideal locksmith! He is professional, extremely prompt and quick to respond and come address a problem, and extremely knowledgeable about all options for various lock needs. We decided to experiment with renting our house on AIRBNB and someone ended up renting it last minute right before we had to leave town but we had no security measures in place. With having only one day we were still at home, Sean came ASAP and installed a lock on our closet door so that we can store valuables there, giving us peace of mind. When I asked about installing an electronic keypad on our front door he provided a very knowledgeable overview of all the options and the pros and cons and problem solved with me to identify the best option for our needs. read more

I called Sean to have 3 doors re-keyed. He was here within 20 minutes starting the job! Thanks, Sean! read more

We had a late afternoon closing for our home, and when we reached out to see if we could schedule an appointment to have our locks re-keyed after closing, the owner replied that he would be out to our new home that same evening to help us secure our new residence. Needless to say, we didn't arrive to the property until 6:30pm! This was not a problem, and we were politely greeted by the owner who took a great amount of time to carefully review our current locks and discuss options with us. We found him to be extremely honest in his assessments, and not once did we feel like he was trying to make a sales pitch. After discussing numbers and options with him, we decided to replace all of our locks with a higher quality system. He ran to his office to gather the new locks we collected and came right back to complete the work; finishing the job at 11pm that night. At the end of his work, he asked me to look over everything to ensure I was satisfied. I noted that one deadbolt was a bit tough to turn into the locked position. He took a good look at the door and showed me that it wasn't the lock, but our door that was actually hung off-plumb by a hair. In a matter of minutes he had it corrected, as if by magic! I genuinely don't write reviews often unless I'm either really overly satisfied or something went terribly wrong. This company has genuinely earned my trust and my business, for life. Don't hesitate to give them a call, you'll be glad you did! - Eric & Christian read more

DMV Locksmith really saved us today. I locked up a Quickset lock I was trying to rekey for my parents. It was for their front door. I called here first and received excellent and honest advice on how to fix my brand new lock. Unfortunately, the easiest solutions just wouldn't work for our situation. This gentlemen, he went out of his way to meet us immediately and not only fixed our new lock, but also taught me how to fix it if I should need to do it again in the future. This company is honest and trustworthy. If you need some professional help with a lock, this is your first stop. If this were Amazon, it would say "Verified Purchaser". read more

My husband works from home. We accidentally locked the door to his office this morning! We called these guys and they came to our rescue within a half hour. They quickly unlocked the door without a problem. They were so nice, personable, efficient and professional throughout the entire experience. Thanks so much for saving the day! read more

Saen at DMV Locksmith is professional, skilled, and fast. When I called, I didn't need or expect immediate service, but I got a three door job completed the same day - convenient and appreciated! Saen explained what I needed to know to make confident decisions. My residential lock problems were years in development. I was still getting by, but it is a relief now to have new locks that function well and at a higher level of security. Saen took a trip back to his office for the styles and colors of locks I wanted and then he installed multiple locks and knobs and a beautiful handle efficiently. Six master keys were provided. Just like that, project done. Beautiful, functional, secure, warrantied. Bonus: I have a relationship with a trusted locksmith if I need anything else for cars, garage doors, security cameras. read more

Saen is an absolute lifesaver. Knowledgeable, flexible, efficient, and even came out the same day and took me and my kids (who happened to be close in age to his own, so he had car seats) from our house back down to our truck to get a new key made. Better quote than we got elsewhere and the customer service is exceptional. As much as I hope to never have to use a locksmith again (!) he'll be the first person I call if I have an issue again. Don't waste your time calling around. Just call these guys. read more

All sorts of Amazing! I never, like never, write reviews. But my whole stressful morning was resolved in a matter of minutes. I'm just sorry that through my frantic search for a locksmith I didn't get the gentleman's name that helped us this morning. My dad locked himself out of his car (while it was still running). I called, he came, and unlocked the car all within maybe 10 minutes. Legit, my hero! read more

After a really bad experience with another local locksmith (feel free to ask me who!), DMV Locksmith Services answered right away when I called, showed up within the hour, knew their stuff more than well enough to fix the mess the previous company left behind, and did a truly excellent job. They were friendly, kind, knowledgeable and super helpful. Seriously great customer service. And the cost was right in line with expectations. I would absolutely hire them again, and recommend them to others. THANK YOU for doing such a great job. read more

I recently contacted DMV Locksmith to rekey a few door locks at my home in Ashburn. Not only did they offer lower prices than all the other locksmiths that I had contacted that day, but they also offered 24 hour service and were willing to come out that same day. If there was one word to describe Saen, it is professional. Despite having to come from another appointment and go through DC traffic during rush hour to get to my property, he was still willing to come out late at night to provide the rekeying service that I had asked for. As he rekeyed my locks, he provided me with information about the rekeying process, and the different types and quality of locks that are out there as well as a few recommendations on what I can install to better secure my doors. Overall, I was very pleased with the service. He definitely had my interests in mind. Thank you Saen! read more
