Splaine installed all of the security, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and A/V systems in our…read morehome that we built almost 5 years ago. This was soup to nuts. They were consistently professional, honest, clear and helpful. But more importantly, they have remained so whenever we have needed them over the last 5 years. We have called on them for help when we mess up or set off an alarm by accident or need some other assistance. Recently I called because my wife and I could not even set up a new TV and set top box ( sad). I asked for their help. Sam Splaine the owner answered (as he often does - even during the evening when I call) and said I didn't need him to send someone out for a service call, he would just connect me by phone with Sean who installed our A/V. Sean called me from his car and spent almost a half hour on the phone walking me through the process. At no charge. Sam also answered my questions about how to check carbon monoxide detectors and battery change for our control box. I absolutely LOVE working with a small family owned business. I love reaching someone I know who answers the phone and not having to fight through an online chat or answering service. I highly recommend Splaine without any reservations.

I have been a customer of this company for four years, and unfortunately, the experience has…read morecontinued to decline. I have dealt with ongoing connection issues, but today's situation was the final straw. A technician came out to install my doorbell camera, and it was installed sideways. The technician did not have the proper supplies needed to correct the issue. When they returned to fix the installation, the situation became worse -- now my door will not close properly, and my newly installed door and frame were damaged. We recently had this door and frame installed, and now there are permanent marks and chips that cannot simply be wiped away. Please see the attached photos. The lack of care and quality control is extremely disappointing. I am requesting that this matter be escalated directly to the owner of Armstrong's so this damage can be addressed and resolved appropriately. After four years as a customer, I expected much better service and accountability. The Tech did not have permission to relocate my doorbell, camera and drill holes in my brick. Once he installed, the door will not open or closed.
