I absolutely LOVE San Martin and I honestly do not know why I have yet to come back sooner!…read more I recently popped back into San martin after not being there for a while, and OMG! I was instantly reminded why it is such a Dallas GEM! I did not pop in to eat this time, but to find a nice spot to work with a friend on our laptops and yap over a coffee! And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

The pupusas were very obviously frozen prior and reheated. The beans were very flavorless and looked cold, not much flavor from the ranchero sauce they top a lot of egg dishes with. I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and the horchata was a good flavor. They seem to have a lot of sweet breakfast options which I have heard are good. I do want to try more of their drink options because they look tasty and fresh. I would go back to try beverages and maybe the dessert type of breakfast options but I wouldn't be open to trying any more of the food.

I remember the gourmet Eatzi's phenomenon when the chain had a Houston location, which has been closed for almost 20 years. Although I've read Eatzi's may in fact return to Houston, I'll believe it when I see it. What I've always liked about Eatzi's is the high quality and variety of cuisine on offer. For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods. Service here was really good, although I was a bit put off by the long line wrapped around the inside of the store. However, I was able to walk right past it to an easy checkout. Parking here, in my opinion, was easy. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this Eatzi's location in Dallas, and also hope Eatzi's returns to Houston one of these days.

The staff is great. You can checkout at the normal lanes and in the back but the coffee to skip the line. I also go after 8:30, 8:45 they offer Bogo red dot special for prepared meals in the back right corner. You will see a line and police will monitor, lol.

Dallas institution not to be missed. I found Jimmy's back in…read morethe 1980s. It was unique and reminded me a lot of the small neighborhood grocery stores I frequented living in Galveston. Dallas being a " new" city has a shortage of old school, including places like Jimmy's. You can literally make a day out of it. Drive there, shop for Italian items, order a meatball sandwich to go and head home. There, start planning and preparing your evening meal with all the great stuff you bought at Jimmy's. For me it was pursuing the isles waiting for my Hot Italian Beef sandwich to be made. I picked up a great Mulipuciano, frozen sausage lasagna and more. But The item on the top of my list was a couple of pounds of house made Hot Italian sausage. No doubt you've seen it served on menues around town if you've been in Dallas any length of time. Don't miss the extra hot latte or cappuccino that magically appears out of the great machine up front. Go! * Another missing review

Lines to cash register are long but it moves quickly. Head over!
