I brought my brand new MSI GS63VR 7RF to DLL technologies after I accidentally spilled a guiness across the keyboard while intoxicated. I turned the laptop over immediately to try and prevent as much beer from getting inside the laptop as possible. I then proceeded to make the rookie mistake of trying to turn on the computer the next day. It powered up but the screen did not turn on and only a single fan was working. My heart sank. I met with Chris at dll expecting the worst. The initial prognosis was not great. Usually beer and a turn on would equal frying the motherboard. I left my laptop with them and by the following afternoon the computer was up and running! They cleaned each component carefully, checked all major functionalities, ran stress tests, and offered excellent advice for future care of my machine, all for the price of a diagnostic!! These guys are great. I have a home computer that is used by all members of our family. While the kids are supposed to only use it for schoolwork, they downloaded some games which clogged up the computer and added a bunch of unneeded programs, some tough to get rid of. These guys are amazing!!! Chris, Ryan, Mike and Mirna know their stuff. They took my dying iMac that was at capacity and returned it to life by helping me with additional RAM and cleaning my hard drive to free up storage. I couldn't even back up my cell phone it was so full! They also helped me back up everything on my iMac to my external drive and cleaned up my duplicate files and back ups. What a gem (DLL Technologies) to find with my first Yelp inquiry. Being a Dell person, my incapacitated niece's non-working MacBook Pro baffled me. Not DLL, who quickly broke the password, and outlined the disaster lying beneath the multiple non-working keys and seriously corrupted hard drive containing her final exam of final semester to graduate PCC in Pasadena. DLL's manager, Chris, estimated about $800 to restore the 7 year old Apple, or a new MacBook Air from BBY at about $1200. Chris then only charged $120 to transfer all applicable data to the new Air, and set it up properly for immediate use. Chris also returned the old Pro in limited operable condition, preserving the remaining hundreds of gigs of download-music for further use, if my niece is interested. I still cannot believe my good fortune in finding DLL Technologies in Glendora, just 3 miles from home. These guys are the consummate professionals you always knew were out there, but could never find. read more
