Ordered replacement shower seals : 5/16" x 3/8". Received 5/8" x 1/4". Does anyone at DK know how to measure?

Absolutely the worst, I ordered a part 2 or 3 months ago and it never came, called about a month ago and they said it will be there very soon, still isn't come. Also the shipping price was a bit high 20$. Do not buy from them if your project needs to get done fast, some of my plants are dying because I can't keep the humidity up in my tank, and I have a snake in a small tank right now, that's just sitting on the floor in the living room looking like shit, I really want to use this new tank I made that's just sitting here unusable because I need the track for the windows. Avoid them at all costs. They charge a hidden and misleading 20-25% restocking fee on ALL returns. Even if the items are unopened, original packaging, returned before 30 days, and not final sale or custom order. Their return policy does not disclose this in any kind of clear and transparent way. They will hold back hundreds of dollars from you for no good reason. I lost $200 to them plus another $40 in return shipping that I had to pay. I've purchased an item from DK Harware. It was Paver Drain system from Stegmeier brand model number MP2T. According to Stegmeier website this drain consists of two parts upper part that slides in into the bottom part https://www.stegmeier.com/mini-paver-drain/ Similar item description is written on the DK Hardware's own website. They have same product description on their page, same picture that shows both upper and lower portion of the drain connected together and even have the correct width of the bottom part (5-1/8 Inc) highlighted in the feature section of product description. There is no indication on DK's websites that would suggest that bottom part is not included in the order. Furthermore according to Stegmeier's own product description - it is impossible to order just the bottom part, there is no part number for that piece because it suppose to be shipped together with the upper part. I ordered an item online for $57 and change on 2/14. They took my money and gave me a receipt and shipping estimate. Three days later I received an email saying that there was a problem with my order. I assumed they needed address clarification, so I called them. The woman on the phone said the price on their website was wrong and I was going to need to authorize an additional $40 to receive the item. I asked why it was online for $57 (Other retailers had it listed for around $60) if they weren't going to honor that, and she said she didn't know...maybe some kind of mistake. I cancelled the order and it took a full day for the refund to come through. No apology, no explanation, no nothing. Just indifference. I think this might be illegal, especially with interstate orders. I have the receipt with the sale price of $57 that they refused to honor. I'm contacting consumer affairs for some clarification. I then purchased the exact same item from Petersons for $58, and their customer service was great. Do whatever you can to avoid this company. Something strange is going on. read more

I placed an order that said it was in stock. I placed an order for glass after I ordered hardware. They tell me after I ordered that they won't have them until CRL has them in stock. I have a crl account, this is the only reason I would use this over proced company. Willing to pay 130.00 per hinge when my cost is 56.00 per hinge. Beyond over priced but you say you have them in stock. They took my credit card and everything. Next day I get an email telling me I need to call them. I'm told the hinges aren't available for 3 months. The amount of back tracking I have to do now because this company is unreliable, I'll never attempt to use this company again. This company is a sham. They list many items on their website which they know are out of stock, they pull the money from your account as soon as you order, and then they don't ship your product for months. Their "24/7 Help Line" is an answering service that has not answers and isn't even able to get the company to return a call. They send the wrong product weeks after they accept your money, and their "customer service" line is not helpful at all if you can even reach them. The CFO (Art Goldman) and their customer service team are aware of these tactics, but they won't return phone calls and they won't resolve the issues. I ordered a product at about $300. Wrote my shipping address and checked the box that said billing address is different. I've moved across the country. I included the billing address, which is the old shipping address they sent my previous order to, last year. Of course this new recent order went to the billing address, and when I checked the invoice they have both addresses written as the same old billing address. My new address isn't on it. This must have been a glitch in their website, or because they have an account for me, it automatically applied my old address information attached to my email. In any case , my order is now on the other side of Canada where I haven't lived for months, and DK Hardware has been totally useless. Offering me nothing, just $300 down the drain. Their customer service agent talked over me and clearly did not believe me. If you want a hardware business that cares, look elsewhere. DK Hardware is a complete JOKE of a company. KIM MARGATINES and JOEBER GAWAN are very nice but incompetent. Kim kept gas lighting me and telling me that my item shipped when it didn't. This back-and-forth lasted for about a month until Joeber found the item and offered to ship it if he could cut off 95''. The refund processes has been just as complicated and between now and then, it's been a complete nightmare. Use extreme caution when dealing with D K Hardware. They will cheat you the first chance they get. I placed an on line order until I realized right after I hit send that the shipping would be more than the value of the goods. There was nowhere on the site to cancel. I contacted them twice and was assured the order was cancelled. Days later, part of the order showed up at my door. The rest followed days later. Even though DK lied to me directly when they said the order was cancelled, they then said too bad . The order was already in work. They were careful to hide the paper trail. I did save the email they sent to me stating that they cancelled the order because DK hid it from review after it was shipped. Almost like doing business with some foreign crooks. Danger! read more

I placed an order for a single item (a shower door handle) on Sept 17. I immediately received an order confirmation and my credit card was charged right away, then nothing. I checked the order status online a couple of times, but there were no updates. On Oct 16 I finally got fed up and emailed customer service asking for an estimated fulfillment date. I received an email later that same night, saying that "Due to unanticipated high demand, the item(s) listed below are temporarily delayed." What a 'coincidence' that that came on the very day I inquired about the order! The next day, I received another email, saying my order had shipped. 'Unanticipated demand' miraculously resolved, just like that! The least they could have done is upgrade the ground shipping on what was obviously a forgotten order. But delivery still took another eight days. They did offer me 5% off my next order for the inconvenience, as if I'm going to give them more business after all that. read more
