OMG... this place has gone down the tubes! My 26-year-old high-end manufacturing business has used them in the past with success but something has changed over there. We placed an order for $338 worth of custom-cut strips of plastic. We ordered this from them in the past. They were given the exact dimensions to cut in a drawing. The communication this time around was deplorable. There is complete apathy there. Finally, when the order was ready we picked it up. They would not insert into our application because the dimensions were off. They came here to pick them up, only because I asked them to, and then they took an extended period of time to fix them knowing were behind on our deadline thanks to them. They delivered the strips back and we were horrified. They tried to fix them by grinding them down. It was a completely third-world rig. Literally, you saw grind marks all over them. They didn't fit once again. This is a company that is supposed to have machines that can do modern work like CNC and laser cutting. I tried more times than I could remember and have the emails to prove it to get anyone there to accept responsibility and to fix the problem. I left many, many messages for the owner and NOBODY ever called us back. There is a girl that answers the phone, but you cannot get past her. You could tell when talking to her that she felt bad because she was stuck in the middle. We will never do business with this company again after finding ALRO Plastics who delivered a flawless job. I placed a claim with Bank of America and it was denied. I am laughing because they put the effort to send our bank paperwork yet their spineless owner would not call back. What kind of a man is that? I am still shaking my head as to why the bank would deny a claim when I sent them all of the proof of our email correspondence showing they completely ignored us and did not rectify the problem. BOA denied a claim because they provided our bank copies of the invoice and signature that we ordered them... seriously??? This is such the typical service in Miami and why we try to purchase outside of this swamp! Happily, we threw away the useless strips of plastic in the garbage! They beat us for $338 dollars but how much money will they lose when others read this? If they even bother replying, they have no defense because all of our employees are witnesses!!! read more

I purchased a custom made item, when upon delivery of said item an issue arose with the finished product, I was devastated, but thanks to the amazing customer service provided by Mr. Carlos Narváez who immediately thought of a way to fix the situation, and came up with a solution that would fix the problem and make my item look even better, I was able to love my purchase even more. In addition a very nice young man by the name of Jonathan Pedroso also went out of his way to ensure that I felt happy with the end results. I made two orders with this company a few years ago, the first order went fine for replacing some acrylic plastic within the railings of my condo. The second order was at time when I was undergoing chemotherapy treatments, and I assure you, this order, was the last thing that was going on in my mind. Nevertheless, to be honest, I forgot about the order. Although, the first order I received an email that my order was ready for pickup, the second order I never received one. (Out of sight out of mind) I mentioned to the owner, that in my previous emails over the past few months to the sales rep, I wasn't looking to pull a fast one with this company. I sold my condo, the new owner inquired about replacing the plastic on the rest of the railings. I realized that I had a 2nd order placed and after looking through my emails, I not only found my order, but I also found proof that I prepaid for the order in advance. So I emailed the sales rep to inquire that status. I was told that the order was on WILL CALL and if I did not pick up my order it was discarded after so many days and they don't notify me when my order was complete. Honestly I never heard of such a thing, so later I went back and found where on the first order, as I mentioned, I got an email that my order was ready, but did not get any notice whatsoever on my 2nd order. As I was going through this process thinking everything was going to get resolved, I actually referred some customers to this establishment from my previous condo association, the new owner is just one. He replaced the remaining 3/4% of material needed to complete the project. Finally the owner got involved and today sent me an email and said "Faulkner is not responsible for any customers material left unclaimed for more than 15 days". Therefore I reviewed Falkner's proposal, also reviewed their credit card authorization form, It does not state anywhere, that Faulkner is not responsible for any customers material left unclaimed for more than 15 days (Especially since I never got a notification of completion on the second order). Therefore, based on their proposal and signed credit card authorization along with proof of no notification, I'm going to take this as my contract. This is not where I wanted to go, but It leaves me no other option to take them to civil court based on the following information: Florida Statute of Limitations - Contracts - Written: 5 years 95.11 (2) (b). Statute Of Limitations There are numerous statutes of limitations in Florida law, but those most commonly encountered in small claims suits limits how long a person has to sue another person. In Florida, there are various different statutes of limitations that apply to different kinds of cases. For example, if the case is based on a written contract, you have five years after the borrower defaults on the agreement to file a claim In closing, it's a shame that I have to do this, but it's the principal of the matter for me. Not only will I file this in small claims court, but I feel confident that I will win. I was just trying to be a gentleman about the situation, not only that I feel confident that I will get my money back, plus my court costs in the long run, but this company will lose more from word of mouth. Great service! They listened, assisted, provide a sample and were great to work with. I called a competitor and could not get a sample, but for Faulkner it was not a problem. They made sure I was helped a in a friendly manner. Derick my sales rep was great and the others in the office were helpful and friendly both on the phone and in person. Only place in Miami that I know of to get clear acrylic PVC pipes. The staff was really friendly and helpful (especially because we were indecisive and they were in the middle of an office b-day party). Even though this is a bit out of the way I would definitely come here again to whatever it is that I need. The pipes were cheap and they cut them for free. It was a fraction of the price of online. read more
