Today, I purchased a car from quite literally the BEST car professional I have worked with (and there have been MANY!). Monica at Chevrolet/Nissan of Walla Walla was absolutely fantastic. She cared about what I was looking for - she listened to what I was saying - she engaged with me the entire time - and in the end, Monica and her team won the deal with me because of Monica's caring, consultative approach. This purchase was not for a "daily driver" this was an "I need another sports car in the garage!" My point? I didn't need it, I wanted it. BUT, I did not "want it" bad enough to not take into account that the exact same sports car is available across the USA and the right deal would eventually present itself. If you need a new/used car and you are in Walla Walla or the surrounding area - give Monica at Chevrolet/Nissan of Walla Walla a call! You won't be disappointed! I also had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of dealing with June and Manny as part of the sales process. All 3, 100% professionals that know how to build a relationship with a customer and most importantly laugh and be able to enjoy the process. No joke at all - best car buying experience for me, ever. Monica, June and Manny - Thank you, I will be back!

Edit: I picked up my car today and it's still a one star rating. At no point after my extremely bad…read moreexperience did management attempt to reach me, they only publicly replied to my review to ask me to reach out to them. In fact, at no point did anyone from the dealership ever call me, except to reschedule my initial appointment. I've never been to any car repair or service shop where they texted you instead of calling you that your car was ready, which is definitely why we're in in the first place. A text is very easy to miss if you're expecting a call. Additionally, they texted me a link to approve the service in which they noted two things as "critical" one minute before they texted me my car was ready. How is my car both ready, and waiting on my approval? That's not promising. Initial review: Both experiences at this dealership have been sub par. The online system spins you in a doom loop and the same thing happened when I called to make an appointment. I waited on hold for so long the first three times I called (over the course of a few weeks, not one right after the other), that the phone started ringing all over again. Someome finally picked it up and hung up on me without saying anything TWICE in my attempts. The hold message tells you to schedule an appointment online, but you can't. Yet online, it doesn't tell you it's not working, it's fully booked instead, so you scroll through endlessly looking for openings. When I finally got a hold of someone via phone, it was the level of customer service this expect from a place that hangs up on you. She laughed when I asked about the online system and said it doesn't work, but I finally got an appointment scheduled. Then, they called me two business days before my appointment to reschedule for a time that would not work for me. So, to reschedule, I had to go through the same doom loop. It's important to bring your car to a certified dealership for service at least every few oil changes, and I was way overdue from my last mediocre experience here, but they are the sole dealership in Walla Walla, which is why I was so persistent. Well fast forward to today and I dropped my car off early for my 4pm appointment because I had to go back to work and I explicitly stated that. Service guy was super nice, but he said nothing about the service department closing early. I came back admittedly an hour after they texted me that my car was ready, but nearly 30 minutes before their stated online closing hour, so I thought it would be fine. Well I was wrong, they locked my keys a room without anyone else having access to them, nor did they ever call me to tell me. Note to staff, if a customers keys are still there at close, move them to the sales area like you told me you would do when you previously tried to reschedule my appointment, or make sure someone has access, or call the customer to see where they are.. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. I worked in corporate for the largest auto retailer in the world for five years and I can tell you this is not how a dealership is supposed to be ran. The garage was a mess and the front door had layers of fingerprints that looked like they'd been there for days while what seemed like dozens of employees walked by, none of whom could immediately assure me that they could get my keys or provide me a way home and to work in the morning. Do not buy a car here, you will never be able to get it serviced and when you do get it serviced, you wish you went somewhere else.

Then called asking if it was ok for them to take off the door panel for the diagnostic I said "is that needed?" And they said it was already off. Once again I asked for an estimate and was told to call in an hour. Then in an hour was told they would call. They kept my car for two days and after that they estimated OVER SEVEN HUNDRED for the estimate and the REPAIR I DIDNT ASK FOR because they had to order a part. My uncle and dad (both used to work on cars) went in with me to figure out what was happening and the owner wouldn't even look at me when I tried to speak nor would he address me. Only my father or uncle. When told to talk to me because it's my car and he was being rude he only rolled his eyes at my mother who was the one to say if then continued to ignore me. So I asked for my key, payed the 300 for the diagnostic (still insane they only had my car for that long because they REFUSES to tell me what was happening) and left. Upon getting home I found the reason they charged so much was NOT to order the needed part which I ordered myself for $48. It was because when refusing to give me any information it was because they BROKE my door panel and tore through some of the wiring and were trying to charge me repairs to cover their asses. Why did all this happen? Because I'm a young woman who clearly didn't know much and went into their shop expecting them to treat me like a human but instead they took advantage of my naivety and I learned the hard lesson that I will never be taken seriously unless I have my big scary ex mechanic dad with me.

The offer they brought me for my trade-in was spot on. The price they were asking for the car I wanted was also spot on. No wasted back and forth time. Steve, from finance, found me a good loan and had everything ready . No time wasted there. I took the car back for some touch up work, the service manager remembered my name, having only met me once, briefly. All staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. The only quibble I have with the whole process is their web site uses TradePending to value your trade-in. When at the dealer, they use KBB. TradePending's value is not near that of KBB. In my case it was way higher. If you are doing research prior to going in for a new vehicle, keep this in mind.

The deal was largely done before we went to the dealership to pick it up. They made it SO easy and stress free. They valued our trade (very fair) and found the color combination we wanted and got it in. Jarod the sales manager and Jason in sales were both exceptional to work with. This is a family-owned dealership, which is always our preference. They work very hard to provide a no pressure, hassle free experience. It's getting hard to find dealerships like this that actually value their customers and go the extra mile to make sure they have a great experience. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a new Honda or used vehicle give Underriner an opportunity to earn your business and trust.
