There is evidence that material defects were not disclosed and appear to have been intentionally…read moreconcealed prior to the sale.An independent mechanic's inspection found that:A coolant leak had been concealed with sealant applied to the coolant reservoir rather than properly repaired. The vehicle's diagnostic warning lights and engine fault codes had been cleared prior to the sale, preventing us from being aware of existing mechanical issues.Water was found in the engine oil fill area, raising serious concerns about the condition of the engine and whether the vehicle was misrepresented. The presence of water in the engine oil system is particularly alarming. REMOVEDis essential for lubricating internal engine components. When contaminated with water, its lubricating properties are significantly reduced, which can lead to accelerated wear of internal engine components, corrosion, overheating, bearing failure, and catastrophic engine failure. A sudden engine failure while the vehicle is being operated could result in a loss of power, loss of vehicle control, or other dangerous driving conditions that place the driver, passengers, and other motorists at risk of serious injury or death. These issues were not disclosed before the purchase and would have materially affected our decision to buy the vehicle. Had we been aware of these conditions, we would not have purchased the vehicle.Beyond the safety concerns, selling a vehicle after concealing known defects may have caused significant damage to our property by exposing the engine to conditions that could substantially reduce its useful life or require expensive repairs or replacement. Based off the mechanics assessment, around $6000 worth of repairs to make the car drive safely. This business has also been reported to the stat licensing board, with the statments from the mechanic written out detailing how this was not the first time this business has done this to lansing residents. Recordings during the sale were also sent to Michigan's licensing agency, showing that the verbal contract of them trying to convince the customer that the car was safe to drive and had no issues. Even though the mechanics statement shows that the company knowingly hid and concealed issues, which resulted in damages to the consumer and others in the lasning area. We tried to work with budget cars of lansing, but they left us no choice but moving forward with the complaint to the licensing board and i am warning others that they should not do business with this company unless they want to be sold a defective product. In response to this review the company will try to use that it was sold as is, and while that is true. In doing the sale they broke a verbal contract, which are protected and enforced under state common law for contracts

I had a very disappointing experience with Paradise Motors and feel obligated to warn others…read more This dealership presents itself as a "Buy Here Pay Here" operation, which was the main reason I contacted them. However, that was not my experience at all. Instead of offering in-house financing as advertised, they ran my application through an outside lender (Credit Acceptance). On top of that, I was told I would need to put down $5,500 on a vehicle -- which completely defeats the purpose of working with a BHPH dealer in the first place. At no point upfront was it made clear that they rely on third-party financing or require such a large down payment. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch: advertise flexible in-house financing to get customers in the door, then switch to traditional subprime lending with steep requirements. If you are specifically looking for a true Buy Here Pay Here dealership that works directly with customers on financing, I would strongly recommend asking very direct questions before engaging with this business -- or considering other options entirely. Transparency matters, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

It's still on a temporary tag. To make matters worse, she paid for an extended warranty, only to find out today that it was never even added to her vehicle. She had the car towed back to the dealership, and now they are avoiding her calls. This is completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here to think twice before buying from them. better business bureau is next.

Very Disappointing Experience - $2,000 A/C Repair After Purchasing Vehicle…read more I recently purchased a used 2021 Toyota Sienna online from Michigan Motors. After receiving the vehicle, I discovered that the air-conditioning system was not working. The fan was blowing air, but it was not producing cold air. I immediately tried to contact Michael at the dealership several times to report the problem. I left messages but did not receive a response. When I finally reached him, he told me he would speak with his manager and call me back. He never called me back. Because I needed the vehicle, I took it to a mechanic. I was informed that the A/C system had a leak and required a significant repair. Today, the vehicle was repaired, and I paid $2,000 out of my own pocket to fix the A/C system. Throughout this situation, I continued trying to contact the dealership. I was later told Michael was on vacation, so I asked to speak with his manager, John. I left a voicemail for John and initially received no response. When I finally spoke with him the following day, he told me he would investigate the situation and call me back in approximately one hour. I waited all day, and nobody called me back. What disappoints me most is not only the $2,000 repair bill shortly after receiving the vehicle, but also the lack of communication and follow-through from the dealership. I repeatedly called trying to resolve the situation professionally, and multiple promised callbacks never happened. I purchased this vehicle in good faith and expected the dealership to take my concerns seriously, especially because the A/C problem was discovered immediately after I received the vehicle. I am asking motorcarsonline in Lansing Michigan to contact me and provide a reasonable resolution regarding the $2,000 A/C repair expense that I have now paid.also I'm going to take this issue next level If Michigan Motors resolves this matter fairly, I will gladly update this review to reflect their response and resolution.

Buyer beware of this shady dealership in Lansing. I'm not fooled too often but they got me and now we have $3K in repairs that need to be done only a month after we took delivery of the vehicle. Do not be taken in by their confidence scam, I really thought we got a good deal and were treated well until we needed them and the warranty company to step up. Avoid GWC Warranty as well! That's all, no tears just major buyer remorse. Time to eat the cost and move on. Hopefully this steers even one would be buyer away from this terrible company!!!

My brother in law came to look it over (he is more knowledgeable about cars and I was nervous about buying a used car). He gave the ok, and while we were sitting in the waiting room ready to buy the car, we were told that someone else had made an appointment to test drive the car and they had to let them test drive it. The other employee came in and said that the person who test drove the car decided to buy it and we were out of luck. My daughter was crushed (she was in tears), they could give two S&*%'s and told us too bad, they were faster with the check. By the look of the other reviews, I think it was a blessing in disguise!!

Bless my dad for trying to help me but he's got quite a few blind spots and I believe this could have been completely avoided in many different ways. I travel to Michigan 2-4 times a year to visit family. It's very inconvenient for me to have to rent a car every time I'm in town. So what does my dad do? He buys me a car! (Has to be in my name though cuz he doesn't have his license story for a never time) He tells the lady who runs or owns the place that he needs a SAFE vehicle for me and my daughter for when we visit, We did all the paperwork work in house and the amount was 4900. I had no say in picking the car and from the moment we got it I hated it. It was a POS junk car that was extremely rusted and just in terrible condition. Had I been there to have a say in the car, I would have never chosen this car. Back to my dad and his blind spots. Common sense would be to have a special place you save all your receipts for when your making payments on this vehicle but my dads a little special with severely bad ADHD and didn't keep and or misplaced a lot of these receipts. The lady who sold us the car kept telling my dad he needed to pay more even though he had already paid it off. She Claimed the car was 5900 when we both know for a fact that it was 4900. I got to used this car for not even 2 years. The whole underside is rusted out. It cannot be used. Stabilizer bars are rusted out. It's a danger. It's totaled and been sitting since the last payment was made. This Vehicle was returned at least 4 times before they fooled my dad also! We found about the returns after we got it. He put $1500 down. Double payment's 1st 5 months. But they still think it wasn't paid off and repo'd it. Good take it back. It could have killed me! And worse my daughter? You guys got it coming. We're gunna sue you. Ruin my credit will you?? Do NOT use this place. Terrible shady people!!!
