Southwest Diesel was the only shop to call me back, I left messages at 5 shops with good reviews to…read moresome maintenance done on my RV, they returned my call and put me on the schedule and were very helpful and accommodating with the other issues I had with my RV. They explained everything well so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings or surprises. The estimate was accurate and reasonable. They did all they could to accommodate my needs and then some. I keep saying "they" because I don't remember the guys name, I think it was Doug, When problems came up he updated and explained what and why but he had prepared us for the possibility that the manifold might be broken. I believe he was fair and honest which is a hard combo to find these days. If you need diesel work and in southern Utah call Southwest Diesel

After calling multiple diesel mechanics and all saying they could take a look at it in a few days I called Southwest Diesel. Darren said they were swamped but he'd take a look at it. As I was waiting in the office to give my information there was already a mechanic working on my rig. He came in and showed me the issue. I was going to need a new air filter and a new fuel filter and they both had to be ordered. I was thinking "great, how long is that going to take?" I kid you not, while the mechanic was removing my old air filter about 10 minutes go by and a pickup truck pulls into the lot and he says "there's your air filter". Maybe another 5 minutes go by and a different truck rolls in and he says there's your fuel filter. Amazing!! I went from thinking I was going to be stuck in St. George for multiple days to problem solved in about an hour. Absolutely top notch service. Super knowledgeable people. They talked me through the whole process and explained what each part did for my engine and what caused the issue. Can't thank and recommend them enough.

Then when they were putting the motor in, they dropped the engine and put it into the radiator. When I got the bill it was almost double what I was quoted. I was charged for extra parts including a new radiator they told me was bad. I was furious since I was not informed of the extra charges. I didn't know what happened until months later when bumped into someone who was in the shop that day told me what had happened. Bottom line. This is one of the shops you should stay far away from.

Stop at Red Rock Garage in St. George, Utah around 1:30 pm, which a guy name Jerroel helped me. He said my oil sensor wasn't working and there were no oil in my car. Stayed there for at least three hours, he did an amazing job working on my car, ordered the part and stayed an extra hour working on my car. They closed at 5:00 pm and was there to 6:00 pm. Dennis was also there and I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond their service and professionalism. Also, I thought my car bill was going to be at least $500.00 and I was only charged less than $200.00. I definitely recommend going to them. David P.

I said, "but it's not really Fiat related, I just need something removed and I don't have any tools." The guy just repeated, "I don't work on Fiats." So I called CT Automotive. The nice man said, "come on down and I'll see if I can fit you in." Not only did he fit me in, he took my car in immediately, and fixed my problem. He did it with a smile and didn't fuss about the kind of car I have. I am not from St. George, but I come up often from Las Vegas. There were cars everywhere which show me how awesome this business is. I recommend going to CT Automotive and can say that I'll be happy to bring my car back if anything needs fixing. Especially if I'm going to be in town for a while. Thank you CJ Automotive for making my day smoother than it could have been.

I took it home and a week later I went to wards my friends place and as I got on the freeway the motor seized, took it back to get it fixed and even offered to help pay for his misdiagnosis so i could get the engine repaired. a month later and it's in even worse shape after he checked it out. Not once has he even dropped the oil pan. Not a mechanic, more like a lube shop hack. I wouldn't trust him to change the fluids in a car let alone trouble shoot real issues
