In a short amount to time James determined that our fridge cooling unit was not bad as diagnosed by the first mechanic. He felt certain that several factors were contributing to our fridge not getting as cold as it should. One, it was very hot in UT the week we were there simply causing our fridge to work harder than normal. Two, our thermomister was not in the optimal position within our refrigerator. Took him about 15 seconds to correct. Finally, he suggested we add a second 12V cooling fan to help dissipate the warm air. He was quite certain that our fridge/freezer would work fine as we continued our trip North into cooler temps. None of these points were made by the first mechanic who literally spent three minutes determining that we needed a completely new fridge. Turns out James was completely right. Our fridge is working perfect even without the second fan. James was professional, competent and very friendly. And he is a veteran for those of us who like supporting veteran-owned businesses. I would recommend him to any fellow RVer transiting through or home-based in UT and in-need to help. And of course to any RVer home-based in UT.

After a tree fell on my father-in-law's fifth wheel, it caused severe damage to the slide-out and the roof. Dispatch RV was hired to repair it. He removed the slide-out, put a tarp on it, This repair dragged on for nearly two years--an unacceptable delay. When we finally had to threaten legal action, he returned, but only half-finished the job. Worse, he took all the hardware--the $4,000 slide-out system--and never returned it. He used duct tape on the tarp, leaving sticky residue that ruined the side of the trailer. Even worse, with the slide out missing the roof leak Causing delamination on the both sides of the trailer. Despite promising partial reimbursement, he stopped responding to all texts and calls. This was a nightmare, and I strongly caution anyone considering Dispatch RV for repairs--they have been unprofessional, unreliable, and left us with a severely damaged trailer.

I called Indy RV the Monday before Thanksgiving, and Malin told me to bring it by that afternoon and he'd have their service team take a look as soon as they could. When I got there, he took exhaustive notes on everything I told him so the service team would have all the information needed. He didn't try to lecture me on how it probably wasn't the thing I said it was, like everywhere else; he just asked questions and wrote down everything I said. It did indeed turn out to be an igniter issue, and since Dometic would have taken a week or more to ship the replacement part under warranty, Malin coordinated with their parts distributor to have them provide a new igniter with their next delivery, two days later. They were able to squeeze us in for a replacement on Wednesday afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving, and our heater is finally fixed Malin was communicative, understanding, and speedy. He was a joy to work with, and did everything he could to fix our issue as quickly as possible. Thank you to Malin and Indy RV!

However, it has always been a dependable, quality, detailed car wash. Vehicles sparkle and shine inside and out, top to bottom. St George/Washington has no shortage of car washes. Customers become loyal to establishments that pamper their vehicles (their pride and joy and second most expensive purchase) and go out of their way, driving whatever distance to show their support. I've given gift cards and many washes of my own. Platinum has stood behind their washes and details. Customers leave with a smile and no hesitancy to tip for jobs well done. As of late, we've had crazy price packages, adjustments hours of operations reduced (for whose convenience?), staff reductions, and the sloppiest car washing I've seen in a long time. Automation is definitely coming to both the interior* and exterior of car washing. What the automatic robotic mechanisms washed (exterior) was satisfactory. The drying by the humans was NOT. Outside windows were streaked, smudged, and smeared. But the body and tires sparkled. The chrome was still dusty and dirty. *Now to the interior. Nothing happened at all. Nothing. Nada. Nope. It's not gonna happen. No rugs, no inside windows, no dashboard. The dirt and dust I came in with, I started to leave with. When I approached one of the two attendants to ask for a rag and why it wasn't done. I was told where the rags/cloths were and that they did not do interiors. $19 for this? (I opted to omit the ceramic coating so $19 instead of $25). Plus, I gave a $7 tip. I'm done. Whether work has suffered because Rowley's (the owners) don't want to pay for more employees and operate when the public wants them or whatever crazy excuse they can use. I'm gone. Car washes are profitable businesses. Mostly cash with little overhead. That car wash poperly operated could carry the fruit stand. The fruit stand will never carry the carwash. Bring on the robots to do the interiors. Heck, fire everybody. The bots are sure to win. Most compliant employees you can find. Bots won't tell customers where rags are or what you can do with them. There are other car washes, some long-standing...Freddies, Quick Kwack.... Bye-bye Premiere.

A man was standing in the bay opening, I got out and said I believe the wind ruined my left windshield wiper, he seemed confident, lifted the wiper up and put it into place as if nothing had happened to it. I was thrilled as I needed it to see in this pouring rain storm. His name was Lance and I asked him what I owed him to fix this situation. He said, it's ok, I'm sure you'll be ok now. He was so kind. So every time I have a problem with my 2003 Impala and my 1995 Astro Van, I take it to Lance for repairs. He has kept me on the road in both vehicles for several years now. He changed the name of the Business when he bought them out to "Washington Service and Repair" A great place for excellent friendly service!! We have been to RVzz a couple of times; however, this time they went beyond the call to help us out. Our intent was to get the wheels on our 5th wheel trailer aligned at another location in St George, followed by bringing it to RVzz for replacement of the TV antenna under warranty. But the alignment, scheduled for 29 January, could not be done because the wrong tire and wheel was sent to replace the damaged one. So we took our 5th wheel to RVzz on 31 January to get the TV antenna work done first. As always, Tyler was very accommodating on schedule. So the TV antenna installation was completed by the close of business the next day, along with greasing the suspension, which I asked to have done. The replacement tire was supposed to arrive at the alignment place on 1 February so I asked Tyler if we could leave our 5th wheel at RVzz until 2 February, the rescheduled alignment date. The replacement tire did not arrive until 8 February, and it was the wrong tire. This occurred two more times until the correct tire finally arrived 14 February. This whole time Tyler was super cooperative and supportive of our dilemma. He allowed us to keep our 5th wheel on the RVzz lot, at no charge, far longer than normally permitted, and he even researched his vendors for the correct tire for the alignment. And when it was all said and done, he didn't even charge us for greasing the 5th wheel suspension. (The rest of the work was paid for by the manufacturer of the 5th wheel.) RVzz was awesome during this whole ordeal, and you can be sure that they will be our first choice for future RV repairs done in St George. read more
