The service occurred for an oil change with cleaning products which are really marked up as they do. Be aware, that the advertised "Deal", is not the actual price at the end... There's hazmat fee... which by the way, is not state law. It's just something they tack onto every customer and another fee cannot figure out which took me from one $169 to a whopping $195 it was not worth my time to debate or bring it up, I guess its a common practice to slide in the additional charges in the auto repair industry at the end, and I think like many I'll just never go back there ever. Being transparent with the final price would be appropriate, especially when I brought it up in terms of my experiences in the past in brief. It is just the ethical thing to do. But perhaps it's worth it to them to just get one off customers who won't ever return because they felt like there was low level deception occurring You should be completely transparent in the final price or lose a potentially loyal customer. Today I talked to the owner of this business to solve the problem that they charged me a stupid amount for giving bad service, they replaced parts of my 2012 Cherokee that I did not authorize and the owner is a scammer and closed person. I purchased two tires on January 31, 2020 at this establishment. After less than 300 miles of driving, one of the two tires lost air. I stopped at a station after noticing the leak and inflated the tire which was nearly flat. The next morning I took it to a tire dealership in Las Vegas, where the undreinflation was first noticed. They showed me a bubble in the sidewall and recommended tire replacement. Upon return to Utah, I returned the bad tire and requested a rebate. DMAC refused to rebate my purchase and indicated the problem was mine for driving on an underinflated tire. I find it strange that a "properly installed" tire would become underinflated after less than 300 miles, especially since the Las Vegas tire dealership could find no puncture. Avoid this place for your auto maintenance needs. read more

Love this place! Walked in for an oil change and a strange sound when driving on the highway. They worked me in and took great care to drive the car on the highway, listening for the sound. Rather than give me some story about the sound, they said they heard it, but found nothing wrong. They said if it gets louder or happens in a greater speed range to return, but until then, all looks fine. I was so relieved that they were honest and not out to take advantage of the situation. I took my 2010 Yaris into Doug's shop last week for a new battery and oil change. After going to the Toyota dealership for the past 4 years I decided to try something new because they were always so busy and it took hours to be seen! The last straw was when I waited 1 1/2 hours and they had not even started my car. Plus I had an appointment!!!! The office staff at Doug's (his family) were so friendly! Worst costumer service I have ever received. I took my sons Toyota truck in as it wasn't getting spark expecting a quick diagnosis. Instead after two days of being put off he tells me he thinks it's the coil but can't get one for at least a day and the repair would be 250$. I calls Napa and found that they had one in stock and it was only 50$ so when I told him that he said he wouldn't go there and wouldn't work on it until the next day. I then told him that if that was the case then I would just come pick the truck up and do it myself. She got upset on the phone and hung up on me. When I got the truck back switched all the wires on my distributor so it wouldn't start. I would never use Doug's Master auto care. read more

Well my car had some issues but I didnt know what they were. I went to dougs based on great reviews, come to find out they didn't help. After 24 hours of diagnosis time. They told me that I needed a new timing belt. I just had that work done very Recently. It kind of caught me off guard. I was kind of bummed at the overpriced estimate price as well. I went to another repair shop and they told me it was the alternator for sure. Saying my timing belt and water pump was just fine and didn't need to be replaced. The other repair shop showed me what was really wrong and it made much more sense. I'm glad i didn't waste $900 on a fix I didnt need. So all in all I probably won't be coming back here. Great customer service! My AV hadn't been working for a year and I took it in for an oil change! Dropped my car off at 11 and my appointment wasn't till 130 and they called me at noon saying my car was done! With my ac fixed! Such amazing service I reccomend them to everyone!! read more

I was visiting from out of town when the check engine light came on. I took it to Doug's Master Auto Care and they had it diagnosed in about 20 mins. They told me they would need to order the part (an emissions sensor), and it would be in the next day. Doug did not charge me for the diagnostics. I brought it back the next day and they had it done faster than promised even though I asked them to add an oil change and inspection as well. They got me and my family back on the road with minimal interruption to our vacation. Price was very reasonable. Overall I was very impressed with Doug and his shop. Even though I don't live in the area I would highly recommend this business. read more
