Doug's Master Auto Care is now Steve's Automotive Specialists. I got an oil change, free tire rotation, and thorough inspection. The crew here are exceptional, and I'm so happy with the work they did! I highly recommend this place to anyone needing automotive services. read more

The service occurred for an oil change with cleaning products which are really marked up as they do. Be aware, that the advertised "Deal", is not the actual price at the end... There's hazmat fee... which by the way, is not state law. It's just something they tack onto every customer and another fee cannot figure out which took me from one $169 to a whopping $195 it was not worth my time to debate or bring it up, I guess its a common practice to slide in the additional charges in the auto repair industry at the end, and I think like many I'll just never go back there ever. Being transparent with the final price would be appropriate, especially when I brought it up in terms of my experiences in the past in brief. It is just the ethical thing to do. But perhaps it's worth it to them to just get one off customers who won't ever return because they felt like there was low level deception occurring You should be completely transparent in the final price or lose a potentially loyal customer. I was just really bummed because I still wanted that place to be what I expected . read more

Today I talked to the owner of this business to solve the problem that they charged me a stupid amount for giving bad service, they replaced parts of my 2012 Cherokee that I did not authorize and the owner is a scammer and closed person. They didn't fix my car and on top of that they charged me for a job they did wrong. totally disapproved of this place. Be careful who you entrust your car to. read more

Doug's Master Auto Care - Ridiculous invoice for doing nothing and for a bad diagnosis. the parts are worth half of what they charge plus labor - Tires Near Me - Santa Clara, Utah

My first time using them to work on my AC. Awesome work and great value. They are now my primary auto technicians.

I've been taking many vehicles here for years. I feel like I get honest feedback on what repairs are needed versus recommended. The employees are friendly, and the prices are very fair. read more

If I lived in St. George this would be my "go to" auto repair shop. I had an engine light come on during our trip and I stopped in at Doug's Master Auto Care. Not only were they friendly, fast and knowledgeable, they found the problem negligible and sent us on our way. Two thumbs WAY UP! read more

I purchased two tires on January 31, 2020 at this establishment. After less than 300 miles of driving, one of the two tires lost air. I stopped at a station after noticing the leak and inflated the tire which was nearly flat. The next morning I took it to a tire dealership in Las Vegas, where the undreinflation was first noticed. They showed me a bubble in the sidewall and recommended tire replacement. Upon return to Utah, I returned the bad tire and requested a rebate. DMAC refused to rebate my purchase and indicated the problem was mine for driving on an underinflated tire. I find it strange that a "properly installed" tire would become underinflated after less than 300 miles, especially since the Las Vegas tire dealership could find no puncture. Avoid this place for your auto maintenance needs. read more

Doug's Team is honest and professional! They go above and beyond to make sure your car is diagnosed and taken care of properly, as well taking care of the customer and their needs!!! They saw something not too severe, and addressed it, whereas two other shops in town thought it was a massive issue. Doug and his team are some of the nicest, most honest, and most professional people you'll meet! I know where I'm taking my car from now on in the St. George area! Doug's shop is truly one of the greatest hidden automotive secrets in the region! read more

The whole staff is friendly! This is my go to place for an oil change! Very quick and professional . Will send my family over

We were passing through on a road trip and had several concerns with our campervan. We drove to Doug's on Monday morning and our van was looked at immediately. The people there are professional, friendly and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. We are very appreciative that they didn't give up until they found the answers to all our concerns. If ever in the St George area and in need of service this is the place for you! Thanks again to everyone at Doug's! We are "happy campers"! read more

Love this place! Walked in for an oil change and a strange sound when driving on the highway. They worked me in and took great care to drive the car on the highway, listening for the sound. Rather than give me some story about the sound, they said they heard it, but found nothing wrong. They said if it gets louder or happens in a greater speed range to return, but until then, all looks fine. I was so relieved that they were honest and not out to take advantage of the situation. I will definitely return because I trust them! Thanks, Doug's!! read more

I took my 2010 Yaris into Doug's shop last week for a new battery and oil change. After going to the Toyota dealership for the past 4 years I decided to try something new because they were always so busy and it took hours to be seen! The last straw was when I waited 1 1/2 hours and they had not even started my car. Plus I had an appointment!!!! The office staff at Doug's (his family) were so friendly! He looked at my car right away and I was done in less than an hour. Their prices are fair and I will definitely be coming back to him for any work that needs to be done in the future. Thank you Doug! read more

Amazing service, changed thermostat on my PT Cruiser, did a check up on my F250. Reasonably priced, trustworthy, recommend them for all your vehicle needs!! read more

Worst costumer service I have ever received. I took my sons Toyota truck in as it wasn't getting spark expecting a quick diagnosis. Instead after two days of being put off he tells me he thinks it's the coil but can't get one for at least a day and the repair would be 250$. I calls Napa and found that they had one in stock and it was only 50$ so when I told him that he said he wouldn't go there and wouldn't work on it until the next day. I then told him that if that was the case then I would just come pick the truck up and do it myself. She got upset on the phone and hung up on me. When I got the truck back switched all the wires on my distributor so it wouldn't start. I would never use Doug's Master auto care. read more

Well my car had some issues but I didnt know what they were. I went to dougs based on great reviews, come to find out they didn't help. After 24 hours of diagnosis time. They told me that I needed a new timing belt. I just had that work done very Recently. It kind of caught me off guard. I was kind of bummed at the overpriced estimate price as well. I went to another repair shop and they told me it was the alternator for sure. Saying my timing belt and water pump was just fine and didn't need to be replaced. The other repair shop showed me what was really wrong and it made much more sense. I'm glad i didn't waste $900 on a fix I didnt need. So all in all I probably won't be coming back here. Hopefully other people have better luck than I did. Not very friendly Service. Owner of a '98 Subaru outback. read more

Just a routine state inspection on our Porsche Boxster, but they did a great job; fast and professional and very pleasant to talk to!

Great customer service! My AV hadn't been working for a year and I took it in for an oil change! Dropped my car off at 11 and my appointment wasn't till 130 and they called me at noon saying my car was done! With my ac fixed! Such amazing service I reccomend them to everyone!! read more

i've been going to this shop for a few years, my parents always say they're good and i trust my parents, but every single damn car i've brought in even small things they diagnose it completely wrong or mess something up. i kept giving them chances because i hoped they'd do better but i'm done, i'll never go here again and i pray to anyone that does, now i've been reading other reviews and it seems like whenever theirs a problem, they lie to you and make you spend more money to fix NOTHING read more

We were traveling across multiple states on vacation when our AC went out. Doug quickly accommodated our repair and coordinated a claim with an out-of-state warranty company. We only had to come out of pocket $15. Our AC is more quiet and works better than ever. Thank you, Doug! read more

I was visiting from out of town when the check engine light came on. I took it to Doug's Master Auto Care and they had it diagnosed in about 20 mins. They told me they would need to order the part (an emissions sensor), and it would be in the next day. Doug did not charge me for the diagnostics. I brought it back the next day and they had it done faster than promised even though I asked them to add an oil change and inspection as well. They got me and my family back on the road with minimal interruption to our vacation. Price was very reasonable. Overall I was very impressed with Doug and his shop. Even though I don't live in the area I would highly recommend this business. read more
