Started taking my three vehicles there, and every time, good service and good prices. An old truck was having some road noise issues. I took it to the dealer, who wrote me up a service order for $2600. I suspected that Matt's could beat that price. I left the truck at Matt's, but Matt called me after 20 minutes, and said I needed to come back to the shop. That worried me a little, but when I got there, he had my truck up on the lift, and showed me that all 4 items the dealer said needs replacing, were sound and didn't need repair or replacement at all. Saved me $2600 (less the cost of the shocks that he pointed out were in poor condition..and then almost all the road noise went away!). That sure cemented me to use only Matt's. Brought my cargo trailer in prior to a long road trip, and I wanted them to check everything out. They did, and when I offered to pay, he said "No charge. Didn't take us long, and you're a good customer..." or something like that. I am a mechanical idiot, but they never talk down to me, or make me feel stupid. And I always get a fair price from them. No wonder they are rated #1 in Iron County so frequently.

Quickly he came and gave me an itemized list of what he was doing. Loved that. Then he was back to working on my car, ordering parts. While he was working, I had the opportunity to have a great conversation with Scott. Who has been in the auto mechanic industry for 17 years. So, I knew that I was in good hands. Scott's customer care and understanding of the customer care issues he definitely addressed them accordingly. I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and their willingness to assist each customer that walked through the door. I was in awe and wished that we had mechanics that care for the person and then they handled the car issues. I see why they're one of the best; if not the best in their industry. We were on a two-car trip from Arizona to Seattle when every warning light on our Subaru Forester…read morestarted flashing. It happened at a very difficult time and place, about 150 miles east of St. George and in a snow storm. We stopped in Kanab for an engine test and were told that the transmission had developed a problem that would disable the All-Wheel-Drive. We were told that driving to St. George would not cause further damage to the transmission but the snow storm, without all-wheel-drive, resulted in a very cautious drive to St. George. We called ahead to St. George Transmission and they were familiar with that particular Subaru problem and they had the parts in stock. We decided that our other car, a Ford Transit 350 van handled even worse than the Subaru so while St. George Transmission fixed the Subaru, we had Snow tires put on the van. We have fond memories of St. George and, especially of St. George Transmission. They made our Forester safe to drive, even though the snow storm got worse as we drove on to Seattle. Great company and staff is very knowledgeable in Subaru transmission problems.

But I decided to take my dad's truck to go get an oil change here and they left the hood open and window down while it's pouring rain engine compartment and the interior got soaked and some pretty important files got ruined because they got wet and when I came outside to tell them to close the hood and close the window, they all thought it was funny and we're laughing finally to top it off when they were wiping up the water they had oil all over them so they got oil on the seats not giving a one star because the manager seems like a pretty good dude but he needs to get his guys in check
