Walked in on a Saturday evening and there was no wait for 2. I tried: + Basil gimlet + La pasion + Tuna tartare + Steamed mussels + Truffled Mac and cheese + Brussels sprouts The mac and cheese was the highlight, and the tuna tartare and brussels were also great. Really liked the La Pasion drink as well. Nice neighborhood spot!

I LOVED this place. I came here with a friend for some wine and food and we were told to sit anywhere. We chose one of the tables with a curtain and the couches (amazing ambience!) and the server has been infinitely kind to us and helped us choosing our bottle of wine (which was amazing). Bill wasn't salty either

    Delicious Octopus!!

My friend & I went to Diwine for dinner tonight. The vibe & decoration was great there. They have nice booths with curtains. We had Pizza, fried calamari and octopus as appetizers, and glasses of wine. Sakib provided us with very good service. We will definitely be coming back here, and recommend this 5 star restaurant to everyone!

    Oyster happy hour!

Came here and made it in time for their happy hour. They have a variety of cocktails for happy hour and also oysters for $1.50! The oysters was very fresh and yummy. I got the lobster pizza, there is definitely a good generous amount of lobster and filled with lots of flavors. I also got the rack of lamb which was a bit disappointing, the lamb was so dry, and it came with beans... the side dish with the lamb was not a good combination and I was hoping the lamb has some side of sauce with it but it didn't.. so it was overall disappointing everything else was okay!

I had been wanting to try this spot since moving to Astoria a few years ago. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed overall. For a wine bar, I thought the wine selection was OK and I received a dirty glass. The highlight food wise was definitely the spinach and artichoke dip. The steamed mussels were also good and the calamari was decent. The biggest let down was the Newtown Pizza. It tasted like nothing. I mean no flavor at all. You'd read the menu description and think that it would be bursting with flavor. I'll just say that it was definitely not prepared the way it's described. If I went back I'd stay far away from their pizza. Other than that, the atmosphere is really nice, especially for a date night and it's very affordable. The service was also a plus as they did comp the pizza that we didn't touch.

Great vibes and the perfect tapas restaurant. We got so many different foods and everything was really yummy. Definitely a great spot to check out on your next date night.

Second trip here and it was just as good as the first many years ago. Mussels were amazing did not leave one in the pot. Scallops over saffron were so big and juicy. The steak and potatoes came perfectly cooked. The ambiance is romantic and trendy. Love this spot .

Oh I love this place! So romantic and cozy. I had a reservation for four people on a saturday for mg friends birthday dinner and I change the time about 3 times for some important reason and they're so nice to still give me a table. I'm really glad I picked this place. Me and my friends had a great night. We also got seated in the both which is instagramable view. We got some merlot wine bottle $40 and its already enough for the four of us. Its really smooth and relaxing. Get this! For appetizer we ordered their calamari, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with marinara dipping sauce. Yum! We also got the roasted baby beets salad with some radish, orange, pistachio and goat feta. Wow! Everything in this salad was amazing! The sauce and that goat feta is delicious with all this fruits. I never like goat cheese but this is different. I love fish so we decided to try their crispy skinned fish, seared branzino with baby carrots and some sauce. Perfect! So crispy and the sauce is a bit sweet and salty. Last dish was arugula prosciuto pizza. Delicious pizza! Amazing night and we had so much fun! The birthday girl was so happy. She loves this place and we agreed to go back again.

Cozy! Table area, bar on the left.

Great vibe. Lovely atmosphere. Came with girlfriends for dinner and drinks. Cozy, intimate and relaxing. The food and drinks were not too bad either. Will be coming again for sure.

Wow everything was so delicious! We ate and ate and kept ordering! For dessert we decided on Creme Brûlée ($12). Check came out to about $200 before tip. Inside it was such a great atmosphere. Looked like lots of locals were there. We came on Friday night and learned they are playing live music every week. We jammed to some pre 2000 pop/rock songs. It was so great we DID NOT want to leave! It turned out the owner and one of my friends know each other from social media and he comped our dessert which was so sweet of him to do! We already made a date with my friends to come back next Friday! We literally cannot believe we didn't think of coming here sooner, but better late then never!

These guys are very friendly and have phenomenal customer service. Every time I walk in I'm treated like family! Unlike other places this wine store actually feels like one. It's filled with many, many different wines local and around the world anywhere from cheap, mid-price and high end! It is also beautifully decorated with a table in the middle that's used when they do wine tastings usually Friday and Saturday which I hear are awesome! You can find wines from local wineries as well as international wines; from what I found out they carry South American wines from Chile, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay; European wines from Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Georgia, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, and Greece and also South African wines. Now that's what I call a wine store! Also they carry vegan wines! As I'm writing this review I'm enjoying a Alta Pavina Pago La Pavina 2009 wine I just purchased at their store and it's amazing! If you like wine you will definitely love this place! They also have a reward program you can enroll in! Don't forget to check out their Addictive Wine and Tapas Bar which Is located right across the street, you will thank me later! Enjoy!

While deciding where to go one day, this was suggested and im so glad I went. The restaurant is cozy with tables inside the main dining room and in an enclosed outdoor seating area. Im guessing it opens in the summer. I sat down with my niece while waiting for my sister and for a good 5-7 minutes, no one stopped by and gave a menu nor offered water. Finally after about 3 people walked by not saying anything, someone came. The area is not that big and 7 minutes isnt that long but to sit there any not be addressed by all the staff walking by was annoying. Finally my sister came and we were offered water and a menu. After hearing about the specials and asking for recommendations, we settled on the gnocchi (housemade potato gnocchi, burrata, peas, pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts), Pappardelle alla Bolognese (housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce), and side of sautéed spinach. The food arrived and we were pleasantly delightful by the main. The gnocchi was so soft and creamy, the sauce was delicious. Im not a fan of gnocchi but this was so good. The papardelle was my meal and it was also so good. There was a lot of pasta and a good amount of meat sauce. It was also delicious. The spinach on the other hand was bland. It has no flavor and we had to add some salt. A few times we tried to call someone over to our table but felt like no one was paying attention. When we were done with our meals, my sister had a few pieces of gnocchi left. She asked for a box as it was to be my nieces lunch for tomorrow. I then said, can you also box up the spinach. A few minutes later, the server dropped off a bag with one container and said here's the spinach. We tried to call his attention but he was already walking away. Where was the gnocchi. Finally when we came back, we asked about it and he said oh I thought it was garbage. I said no we asked for it to be boxed. He said let me talk to the kitchen. He came back and said sorry, they cant do anything but one dessert will be on me. I guess thats fine but we more wanted the food for the baby. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The tiramisu was in a jar as opposed to a cake slice. One bite of the ice cream and I knew it was bad. It was grainy and sandy texture. I looked up why that would be and one reason stated it could be improper storage, like it was unfrozen or melted then refrozen. I wasn't chancing that. I told the server and said I couldn't eat it. He offered another dessert but I said know, then offered a limoncello shot. While I appreciate the offer, we weren't drinking before so that wasn't the best option to offer. I just said im fine without a replacement. When we got the bill, the dessert was taken off like he said he would. We paid and left. Overall the main course/pasta meals were delicious. The sides and desserts could use work. Service was alright. Id definitely come back for the food and to try some of the pizza.

Branzino Special with Cannelli Beans and Swiss Chard. This was the winner of the evening. The cripsy skin was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, the cannelli beans I thought were going to be weird but it added a nice creaminess to the fish. Lastly the swiss chard was crunchy on the ends and nice and tender on the leaf. This should be put on the regular menu. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=xNVfJCmf89OOY-1ME3FY7Q Controfiletto- grilled prime angus N.Y. strip steak served with roasted marble potatoes. I hate to say it but as good as the steak was, the roasted potatoes was the star of show. The potatoes were amazing. Pappardelle alla Bolognese- housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce. This was good but came off a bit plain. The pasta was homemade but it was almost to a fault since the pasta came out too soft. The flavors were good but I felt this would have been a better, reheated the next day kind of dish.
