Yes! Finally a professional threading salon near home! No more driving all the way to Cerritos! Upon the first visit I was very impressed. The place is very nice inside, better looking and a lot cleaner than many of the threading salons I've seen in Cerritos. I was greeted immediately by the friendly staff which I think is really important. That day I had my eyebrows threaded. The lady asked if I had sensitive skin, and I do. She put a numbing lotion on my face and made me feel very comfortable. I wanted to make sure she didn't thin them out too much, so she did a little at a time, letting me check the results before she went on. Once she was finished, she sprayed some water on my face and applied a cool clear lotion. It felt really nice. I was even offered a small bottle of water too. The customer service is really beyond good. Since then, I have returned many times and spread the word about this great new place. I've used some of their other services too, like the facial, which is awesome! Its so relaxing - my face glows after wards. I've had a couple of friends who have gotten their legs and bikini waxed. They're all really satisfied. Divine threading studio is better than any threading salon I've been to in Cerritos. From the friendly staff to the excellent services and results, I would recommend (and have recommended) this place to all my friends and family. read more

This is my second review for DTS and once again I couldn't tell you how happy I am with them. Everyone there is super nice and equally good at their jobs. Their location is ideal, there is ample parking any time of the day, and there is very little wait - I mean some times I am in and out in 20 mins, which is unheard of in some places in Artesia. Kiran is my go to gal, she's a fantastic at what she does! I love the way she transforms my face every two weeks :) . Not only is she talented but she's nice and totally open to suggestions. I went to Divine to get my eyebrows and henna done. The lady who did my eyebrows was great! She did exactly what I wanted, and it was pretty much painless. I wish I knew her name. But anyways, moving on to the henna portion. The lady was very friendly. I had asked her if the henna would come out dark and she said 'yes very dark!' So I was happy with that response. But once I got home and washed off the henna after about 20 hours, which is usually how long I keep it on, the color was HORRIBLE! It was so light, it barely even showed upon my skin. I was VERY disappointed. And not to mention I paid $10 per hand for a simple design. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I have been going to Ziba in Cerritos and then to the one near South Coast Plaza for 15 years and wanted to try something a little closer to home. The first time I went to Divine, I was the only customer there!! Although they were quick, my left eyebrow was BLEEDING when they were finished. They have cheap prices but you definitely get what you pay for. Their work was garbage and their conditions are unsanitary. I would gladly drive a little farther to make sure I have my eyebrows done in a SAFE place where I will not end up with scabs above my eyes. Also, it simply did not last. I had regrowth within days - it seemed like they just ripped the hair on the surface rather than pulling it from the root. I will definitely not be back and would not recommend this place to friends. read more

I seriously love this place. I used to get my eyebrows waxed at a salon- but after several of my appointments were canceled I decided to try this. I have really light eyebrows that are somewhat hard to see, so I was concerned about how they would turn. But at Divine, they have always done an awesome job! I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes as a walk in, though you can make appointments as well. Threading is a little more painful than waxing is but it is so much faster and cheaper I think it is worth it. They can numb the skin you if you ask, which I would recommend for your first time. If you are a student I believe they still have discounts if you show your ID. And they also have a punch card which really adds up quick so don't forget to ask for one :) read more

Well, I am still going here regularly. I come in religiously every 2 weeks for threading. Now that I have been going for so long, I ask for Cindy, because I like how she shapes my brows, and she is very thorough. I have also had my eyelashes tinted twice now with great results. Most recently I had a facial which I would also recommend. The extractions hurt like a mother, but I guess they're supposed to? My skin looked and felt GREAT after the facial though. I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews about going here, and I kind of went around there and walked by some days just to take a look how they were doing it nd stuff, nd it looked ok and seemed pretty much the same as other places that thread facial hair, so then since I work in this area, I decided to just go after work one of the days and get my eyebrows done. See I have really bushy eyebrows and every time I get them done it always comes out different and the left one is never even to the right one, and I always tell them to make sure it looks the same, but it never turns out this way, so this time again i said the same thing and she was like dont worry bout it i will take care of you and I was like in my head, yea sure that what everyone says, but guess what, first of all she was done in like 10 minutes, and then she gave me the mirror to check it and i didn't believe it, they looked so perfect like i have never seen them like that before, and they were very very close to even on both sides. And, on top of that there were no left over hairs, and no bumps or tiny bloody scabs that i usually notice. Overall, I think I was more than just satisfied with Devine threading, and it is a good place for me to go cuz its only a few minutes from my work, and it takes only a few minutes to do them, and much cheaper than other places. I would recommend it to everyone out there whos got bushy eyebrows like me. read more

I have been coming to divine studio for over 3 years, and my eyebrows are PERFECT. i dont even go any where else even though the drive is a little. i get my eyebrows done from DAXA, and KIRAN. Kiran made my shape perfect and when kiran isnt their then daxa cleans them for me. They both are very friendly and if their is any issues the solve them right away. Kiran threads fast so it hurts less for me, and if i want the pace slower she does as i say, I dont even feel any thing when she threads and i have VERY SENSITIVE SKIN. its never red when i get it down from her. Unless you like your eyebrows to look like thick, angry caterpillars stay far, far away from this place. I just got my eyebrows threaded and dyed here and they look terrible. I am a natural blonde and they dyed my eyebrows dark brown. I could maybe chalk this up to a mistake or a misunderstanding but when it is combined with the fact that they did not shape my eyebrows at all it is unacceptable. This is the worst place I have ever been to. I went inside no one was there. I was told to sit at the station. The lady dd not even greet me with a hello or even a smile. I told I wanted my eyebrow and lip done. She did one eyean proceeded to my lip on the same side when she got the the middle of my lip it started to hurt so bad I tried to make her stop and she kept on til I slapped her hand away. There was not anyone there but there was not anyone waiting yet she actedas though there was a linearound the door. I merely touched my lipfrom the pain and when I looked there was BLOOD on my hand! I was so surprised the lady did not even acknowledge that she had taken a chunk of skin from my lip til I discovered it. She claimed it was my fault for her cutting my lip I was almost in tears because I wanted to call her every name in the book. I just went home and cried I was so upset. She did not even apoligize or show remorse. I will never go there again. . read more

I've been coming here since they opened a few years ago. They definitely value their customers and take reviews seriously! And the business has improved a ton. I come here and get my eyebrows threaded by Bina and I won't let anyone else touch them. There have been a few times where I've considered going to a new threading place just because a few of the other employees aren't the greatest but I'll keep giving this studio my business because of Bina! And in response to one of the reviewers saying she uses her hands when applying aloe vera, you can just ask her to use a cotton ball...not a big deal at all. read more

Well I have been going to Divine weekly for a while now and I have never had problems with it. I understand that when people go into places like this that the expectation may be to receive something other than what they are paying for--a nice conversation, good coffee, fantastic ambience, etc. etc. But the reality is that we are paying $7, $8 for brow service. And that is what we should be rating a business on. Now the last business that I provided a yelp review on (which would've been only my second review) I did because I thought it was reasonable to expect somebody to show me the ropes on the business. It was a fitness studio which I had never visited and had no idea what I was supposed to do for a class that I was taking. So I felt like some constructive feedback was warranted. But in this case, I don't understand the bad reviews on whether these women who provide the service say "hello" or whatever the compalints are. Again, we are paying $7, $8 (can't remember the price) to get our brows done, nothing more. And if the women who are doing it are friendly (and in most cases they have been with me!) then that is just icing. I have had very good experiences with Daxa, Kirin and Cindy having walked out with brows that I could never shape the way they do!!! In this day and age, running a business is tough with Yelp being a very well-used method of praising or putting down a business. But I feel bad when I read reviews for things other than what we are paying for. Yes, if there are more sanitary reasons for massaging eyebrows then, sure, put your suggestion in. But it's unfair to rate a business on how the women act when we are able to walk out of the business having received great service that we paid for. And you can't beat the price and its availability to us North Orange County folks. read more

I have been going to this threading salon for about 2 years now. I found Kiran and she has been doing my eyebrows ever since. She has patiently groomed my slow growing eyebrows and corrected the unshapely mess they were in. I was not looking forward to her maternity leave, because I knew I too would take a leave and wait for her to come back. Sure, I went in a couple times to other girls, but I could not wait for her return. She came back a lot sooner than I expected, and now my eyebrows and I are SO happy! Divine! My sister and I went to Divine for eyebrow and lip threading. It was my first time getting threading and I was super nervous. My sister got Bina and I got Parul (I think that's how you spell it!) and I really enjoyed the threading aftermath! My eyebrows were clean and my sister had a really nice arch after. It took 10-15 minutes and it was tolerable! I have a really low pain tolerance and I didn't scream, cry, or yell. Once in a while it will hurt a bit but it's fine. I'm so glad that I got threading done here. The service was fantastic! They were kind and warm, and Parul even called me honey! :) Come here if you want to get nice eyebrows with less pain than waxing! read more

My sister and I both went here together to get our eyebrows threaded. It was a Saturday and no one in the studio or waiting area. We were sat in the far right and middle seats. I'm not sure of the ladies names, but they both were very rude and had absolutely no costumer service. I'm shocked at my experience, since I have been coming here for years and I refer people to this place. I have never been so dissatisfied with my experience. I don't even know where to begin. They rushed through my threading, done in 4 mins. My eyebrows were pretty bad to begin with, extra hairy. And when she was done I still had hairs everywhere.... In obviously places like my lid and between my brows, where clearly I don't want hairs. When she wanted me to remove my hands from holding my skin tight, instead of asking me to remove my hands, she flick them away without saying a word. Usually after applying aloe they gentle massage around your eyes to ease the skin, she missed that step. Once done, she grabbed the mirror for me to take a look, I pointed out multiple areas she had missed. Some very obvious. I can't believe I even tipped her. I totally regret it. When I handed her the tip, she once again didn't say a word. No thank you, come again. Not a freaking word!!!! As if she was doing me the favor. I shouldn't even have paid because she didn't do her job. Never coming back or referring to people to this place of business. read more
