After waiting in line right before my turn the bartender told me I could order from the other side of the bar knowing he was the only bartender. By the time I realized there was no bartender on the other side and walked back he was serving the person that was behind me in line. I believe he did this on purpose because he saw a water bottle in my hand and I was with my son and he probably figured all I wanted was Ice but I wanted to order some things too . Awful pool and service, do not go here! Only went because Sycuan isn't selling tickets to simply use their pool in January for some reason, you need to rent a room there to use their pool so we came here instead. Starting with the towels, they have mostly small towels.. Are they for children? Best to bring your own towel unfortunately. I had to ask for 3 towels because they are so small. Staff here are lazy and were on their phones laughing at videos. Are you working or not? Had to interrupt them for anything I needed. Then they have the audacity to not provide innner tubes for their lazy river which was quite cold temperature-wise. They literally told me I had to buy an inner tube in the gift shop which I'm sure is some absurd price. Then there is the bar where you can find expensive, watered down drinks. They also don't have frozen margaritas because they don't have a blender. If any place can afford a blender its Harrahs. All of the pools are cold, barely heated at best aside from the 2 small Jacuzzi's and 1 medium jacuzzi? With the waterfall. But it was clear why no one was here all things considered and the place was a ghost town. Overall cannot recommend Harrah's poolside experience to anyone. read more

This is an "off-season" review. We were there the end of February, 2025, during the week. During this time, you just use your room key to get in. Greeted quickly and given two towels per guest. Unless you reserve a Cabana, it's first come, first seat. We decided to sit by the Lazy River. We had not been to the pool since before Covid and found out they no longer provide any floating devices for the Lazy River. The gift shop apparently has some for sale and they do have an air-compressor there to save you from getting out of breath. We declined and just decided to float / walk the river. A couple we met said they got their floaty at Walmart and bring it every time. The Lazy River is only 3 feet deep so you can walk/float without assistance but it's definitely not as lazy and relaxing as it would be using a floaty. If you are planning to get some food while at the pool, note the day of the week. They share the kitchen with 'Rita's and 'Rita's is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They did have a shrimp cocktail and a salad of some kind but if you'd like a sandwich or something of substance, you'll need to walk through the casino (to the entire other side of the casino mind you) to get to the eating places inside. Starbucks is only halfway through but the Cafe (they charge $5 extra for To-Go orders), the chicken place, Smashburger or Earl's sandwiches is all the way on the other side. Not a big deal normally but if you are only in your bathing suit, you'll get to parade walk around the other guests and gamblers. We opted for Earl's as it's easier to eat while lounging. Plus, I picked up a couple of cups of ice from the sports bar area for the bottles of soda I bought at Earl's. While disappointing that we couldn't get the type of food we wanted from the pool staff, this was an okay workaround. We know for next time to bring it with us when we arrive. They do have servers for cocktails and buckets of beers as well and, on the days that 'Rita's is open, Mexican food from them. The seats are placed very close together, touching in most placed. Moving the umbrellas is a Herculean task and some of them are broken / missing screws making it hard to raise them on your own. But, after only trying two, I found one that went up easily, we just had to move around a number of chairs to get ours into the shade (I know, most will want to be in the sun so...). Lazy River is cool but gets crowded. Even in the off-season. It's a bit cold as my wife did not want to get in after tipping a toe. I jumped in and it was okay. The waterfalls are great and definitely pound your head as you float underneath. As mentioned, to be a relaxing river, a floating device should be used. Cabanas can be reserved and they have water coolers with plastic cups spread in multiple locations (free). There are multiple pools and jacuzzies. Pick the area you are most comfortable in, put on the sunscreen and...enjoy!!! read more

Yeahhh, no. Dive is the pool area located at the Harrah's Casino/Hotel in Valley Center... or "Funner." Idk if I should start with the positives or negatives, but here I go... Negatives: ***Pool areas are small and cramped. It's one of those "early bird gets the worm" situations if you're vying for a lounge chair. Unless you rent a cabana like we did, you're gonna be stuck waiting for people to leave so you can grab their chairs. ***Idk how often they clean the pool, but it was definitely not clean. It was actually kind of gross seeing all the stuff floating in the water and on the surface. *gag* ***Cabanas are cool, but not worth it if you don't have a big group. ***Overpriced food. What else is old, though? High prices for mediocre food are the norm nowadays. Oh, and you're not allowed to bring in outside food or drinks. They don't do a bag check when you go in, but I wouldn't risk sneaking in any goodies. ***1 towel per person, and the towels are thin af. You can bring your own, and I wish I had. ***If you think you can go to the Lazy River and grab a floatie on the sidelines, think again. You have to BUY the floaties from them, and they cost $40-$50 each!! I read another review that said for an extra dollar, they'll blow it up for you. Ummm, okay, yeah, no. ***The Swim-Up Bar... idk what time it closes, but we went about 45 minutes before Dive's closing time of 6 pm, and they weren't serving anymore. You had to order on the side out of the pool. I'm glad I had my refill ordered prior to that. Positives: ***The food tasted good, but like I said, it was mediocre. It was nothing out of this world delicious. ***I only got 1 drink, but it was so damn good. The Mango Margarita something with the Tajin rim, of course. The tumbler was an expensive $31.99, but the refill was cheaper about half that, and you can bring it back on your next visit, so it pays for itself. ***Cabana rental includes water, sodas and chips, and salsa. Also comes with a small safe to store your valuables if you're going in the pools. ***Your cabana also comes with a server who will check on you during your stay, taking orders, etc. And there you have it. I would probably return for just a day visit, and so I can get the drink again, lol. The bathroom area is small, and it was pretty disappointing that a pool closes at 6 pm, even in the summer. Maybe it's a staffing issue, but it's whatevaaaa. Also, the whole thing of having to buy a floatie at $40 - $50 is ridiculous! This is the first time I have ever heard of such a thing. Every other Lazy River/Water Park I've been to just has them out, FCFS. We got lucky. A young couple left the 2 they bought, and let us use them. He said they spent $50 each on them, and they weren't taking them home. Thanks, dude! You probably wouldn't wanna go in the Lazy River anyway. The adult pools were nice. Unfortunately they allow smoking in the pool area. There was also a lot of marijuana being smoked as well. The lazy River was nice but not monitored. Really disappointed in the customer service at this establishment. I've visited the hotel on many occasions to dine, staycation & on occasion try my luck at the slots. Every other visits went smooth, can't say the same for this one. I had just come back from a weekend in Vegas and a few of my gfs who could not make the out of town trip asked that we put together a cabana day to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately for us, Hurricane Hilary hit so plans were really unclear. I was in constant communication between the hotel and the 3rd party vendor they use for reservations. Once the day of our rsvp arrived I called promptly at 8 and was told the day was good to go. Since the reservation was for 10-6 we opted to head up ASAP to make the most of our day. Upon arrival we were told the pool would not open until 1 due to hurricane cleaning, not a problem. The issue we had was that even w/ our calls to the property and the 3party vendor there was zero communication on the late opening of the pool. Had we been advised through our email reservation or the many calls related to the rsvp that a late opening would occur, I would not be writing the negative review. 10:30 arrival meant that we could have caught up on added hours of sleep or even stopped for breakfast. Instead we made the best of the situation handed to us and drank at the Casino bar. Manager at the pool did absolutely nothing when it came to customer service. I understand that the hurricane was out of their hands, but communication to the consumer is something they have control of. She stated that she'd check-in on us once she reviewed who kept reservations and see what she could do for us once we checked in. She did none of this, the only time we saw her was when we picked up towels. We were also the only cabana rental for the day, so the lack of hospitality was disappointing. There are several hotels with amazing pool parties that we could have chosen to be at, and moving forward it looks like the Padres themed casino of Sycuan will be out choice for pool cabanas. 1 star for our outstanding host, Emily who made sure our food orders were placed and beer buckets were full. Eh. Meh. There was a storm the night before; ok, no problem. Pool opened two hours late; ok, sucky--but, maybe offer a discount to those people who then arrived at 10am when ya did open? Cuz chances are, those are the same people who wanted to be in at 8am open. Again, storm... but dedicating someone to at least sweep the deck would have been nice. Super uncomfortable to walk on. I guarantee the pool water was off because of the storm, the water was flat. (I own a pool). The lazy river is the only water the kids can go in, and trust me adults.... You don't wanna go over there. Lol I'm fairly certain (no, I guarantee) we were all "lounging" (it was a quick flow actually) in so much chlorinated urine. LOL Oh, and WTF. It's a BYO inter tube situation. WHAT THE F?! They charge like $40 to buy one there and $1 to fill it up. This made for the entire area looking a hot mess and rather trashy. Plus, some of these people were super extra with their floats. Like super extra. But, the one thing that sucked the hardest? NO CHANGING ROOM OR LOCKERS. They had a three stall bathroom, of which only the handicap stall is even remotely usable to change for most people. Further, there are NO HOOKS in any of the stalls and the floors get wet... so expect to either have wet bags, or drape your crap over the doors and pray it doesn't fall. All in all, we paid $188.80 for 4 entrance passes. That's $47.20/pp. We were there from 10am-3:30pm. I suppose, had we stayed til closing (9pm) it could have been worth it? We had lounging chairs. Lots of groups were going on--a 50th birthday girls trip, a bachelorette party, etc. The vibe was chill, it was mostly an older crowd (40+), no complaints there. Everyone was respectful and rather calm. Would I come back? Yeah, I'd check it out again... but only if I was staying the night. But get this! A room is like $500 on weekends and you can only use the pool while checked in... so if you're staying one night, you'd have to pay an entrance to the pool. I'd probably stay two nights when considering the cost to value ratio, but that's just me. Food was... meh. Microwaved or fried. Don't expect good. Drinks? Overpriced, which is "normal" at places like this. TL; DR. Good for groups 21+; get a cabana. Arrive early, stay late. Stay two nights. read more

Not a bad spot at all the drinks are tasty and crazy expensive, they allow kids but just at the lazy river, day passes are extra expensive, and service is good. The whole area is pretty big and the main pool is huge. The lazy river is very fun with a couple of waterfalls. Oh bring your own floaty or buy one at Dive for top dollar! The place can be very packed, and having said that, if you come in when the crowd is at its peak, it might be hard for you to find a lounger. We were willing to pay for a daybed or a cabana but we were unfortunately too late to book one for the same day reservation. I am giving this 5 stars for the service though. I want to give a shout out to one of their staff, Charlie (and his buddy) for helping me with the lounger situation when they were so busy themselves. I really appreciate it! First time at the Dive Pool review!! (Day 1) July 2nd- We arrive at the Pool around 4pm. We thought it would be a slow day but low and behold, It's a packed house! We get our wristbands and try to find a set of chairs. We didnt find any available but the waterfall Jacuzzi was empty so we hang out there for a while. What a fun place and great for you Instagrammers:) The Lazy River was packed, more than a can of sardines, but everyone was having a great time! Business looked good for Harrahs as many of the cabanas was full of people having fun! i didnt see one sad face there! The best time we had was at The Dive Bar. We find a couple empty seats and Richard is the bartender. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks. The first my wife had the sangria and I had Little Kennys Boo-boo ( Tiki drink) We opted for the cups instead of the tumblers. The Sangria was $13 and my Boo-boo was $17. Both were quite good, the tiki drink was strong, so it was money well spent. The next round we order the Moet Passion fruit twist $18 and Mai Tai for $13. They popped open a new bottle of Moet and it was on. Again both drinks were strong and on point! The atmosphere and bartenders made us stay longer than we anticipated. We made new friends while we were there as well. It was an amazing time! Day 2: Since the pool was super packed on Tuesday, we decided to head down early Wednesday. We get there at 9am. We enjoy the main pool along with another jacuzzi drop and we head over to the swim up bar. It was empty and we had the pleasure of meeting Neil another great bartender. We started off with a couple Mimosas and a couple MaiTai's. Because it was still early we had nearly the entire pool to ourselves. It was great! Neil was not only a great bartender, but livened the place up with a bunch of jokes and stuff. We saw a couple enjoying themselves in the pool chairs only to be doused by other peoples sunscreen spray. We felt bad for them. they got it right in the face. Please be considerate when using sunscreen spray. Drink prices are on par with other resort Pools and slightly cheaper than Vegas pool drink prices. i have to laugh when i see people complain about Pool drink prices, if its too much stay home and buy a 6 pack of bud for 2 dollars. hahahahahhaa This was our very first time visiting the pool area and I must say it was an experience. Dive is located at Harrah's Resort. I've been to Dive a few times over the years, but my most recent experience was by far THE best. We purchased tickets for Cowboy Boots & Swimsuits to see Devin Dawson (incredible). CBS is new this year and I sure hope it continues. Every Thursday at 8PM various country artists/bands are scheduled to perform during the summer months. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but like I said, it was the best. We arrived early and utilized the valet parking option, checked-in, and checked out the pool area/Dive. Dive access was with a ticket only this night, as a result, it was quieter than usual. Additionally, you must be 21 or older to attend the concert performances, so that helped too. The bar was well staffed and there was a Sierra Nevada stand with beers on draft/can. There were drink specials, informal dance lessons (line dancing), and games. A great atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy the activities. Dive is the perfect size and a great place to watch performances poolside. In fact, a great place for an intimate concert. The artists/bands were able to interact more with the crowds...sign autographs and even take selfies. There were plenty of areas to sit or stand and mingle. The hot tubs and swim-up bar were open as well. The loungers were available too. The main pool was closed because of the stage and I'm sure "safety." At least the swim-up bar and hot tubs were open. I look forward to returning for additional concerts. The calendar is full of fun concerts/events. A great variety, Reggae Sundays and of course, Dive After Dark. read more

Hands down with other local casinos competing to upgrade their pools; Dive can easily go down as a Dive Pool in the next year or so. Bar staff - why are Bloody Mary's $5.00 then all of sudden $10.00? Again no TAB can be placed or the ordering of more then one drink at a time due to some incident. Really?!? dropping your standards and highlighting issues throughout the Casino because the staff is miss managed and all guest treated like college students. I rate this Pool/Bar with 4 stars due to its lazy River and the amount of fun my family has visiting. Beside that if you don't come at 0800 you won't get chairs or if you don't book way ahead you will be spending thousands on a over priced cabana. Costumer service has taken a serious dive since I have been visiting since 2015. Staff and cleaning crew - visited more then four times In The last two months. I arrive roughly 0800 in each occasion and will find trash from the day before. I did see on one occasion someone pressure washing the grounds but more needs to be done on the seats and walls around the lazy river around the fire exit due to the amount of bird droppings. You can have up to four adults per room visit and or pay $30 on the weekdays or $40 on a weekends. Dj is on point and please keep...Reggae Sunday really means the Dj then the band later in the day. We came here July 24 2020 for a birthday party and rented a cabana in which we were kicked out instantly for a miscommunication regarding one of my friends who is deaf. The miscommunication was when my deaf friend said "what is this?" but the other coworker Brianna thought she called her the B word. Lol really? That never happened I can guarantee you. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. We were not even drunk yet or yelling, we were just entirely confused. We were being very understanding and kind trying to figure out why we were getting kicked out, but we were just left confused ($600 later NOT REFUNDED) Later, after we threatened lawyers for discrimination against my deaf friend, they started changing their story that we brought alcohol in and THATS why we were getting kicked out... (but first we were getting kicked out because my friend cussed at her mind you) so they changed their story up instantly. Come to find out one person in the group did bring hard kombucha, but she didn't realize and offered to take it to the car in which the guy in the front (HUNTER) was trying to act cool with us and said we were allowed to bring it in even encouraging her to put it in the tumbler (to cover his own self). After his coworkers saw him break the rules, and started yelling at my deaf friend to dump her drink (that was in the tumblr that we purchased from here; mind you we only had 2-3 drinks max and out of all of us, only the one person that was told the kombucha was okay brought in alcohol). Little scared Hunter now in fear of losing his job tried acting like a "real man" now and after talking to his boss (idk if it was Kyle or Bradley) got us kicked out. In which the manager (I'm literally putting both Kyle and Bradley together because they were terrible people mocked us and said "ya go ahead and sue us do what you have to do" laughing in our face while half of us were crying and the other half were defeated. My deaf friend was distraught and crying. I felt horrible for her. ESPECIALLY the team with their lack of customer service, and compassion. Instead they cared more about their own employees who were the real ones breaking the rules. Like seriously? This was my first time here, and I am never going back I can assure you of this. PS. We were in the lobby for a couple hours trying to figure it all out. No one helped us. If you ever have a chance to go to this place, especially if you have kids with you, rent a cabana and ask for Jaimie and Zara. You and your party will have a wonderful time and you won't have to worry so much. We got a bottle of champagne, fruit and orange juice to start. The chips salsa and guacamole are endless. The chips themselves are amazing, kind of like a knock-off dorito. Kid friendly too. The nachos are ginormous and we're able to feed all 6 of us but we also got the buffalo wings but we were pretty full after the nachos and fruit. I had a strawberry orange creamsicle (shot). It was light and fruity: it would be really easy to drink too many of them. The cabana comes with soda (diet and regular Pepsi) and bottles of water. Also provides standard outlets to charge whatever you need. An outdoor sectional couch and two lounge chairs to bask in the sun are provided. Jaime and Zara came around with towels when you wanted them, and they were pretty easy to flag down if you needed anything else. It did get a little busy, but they make their rounds pretty often so it's not a huge wait for anything. All in all, the lazy river experience made up for the resorts downfalls. read more

Been here many times before as being a hotel guest entry is free. I love the crowd and the live music. The lazy river pool is relaxin as well. It's great for families and singles alike as there are two different areas. The place is maintained and well lit. Tons of security as well. This place used to draw in large crowds and big time names. I guess with the noise ordinance, the hotel and casino is forced to keep things quiet and less crowded. Fine for me, as I didn't really mind the noise or the crowd. I do order having the place all to myself though lol. The spas are great too but limited. The chairs and cabanas fill up quickly. So if you plan on coming by, I suggest getting reservations or speaking to a host to guarantee a spot. The bar is cool too but service is available with food and drink from the main cafe inside the hotel. If you're looking for a place to relax and take a dip, this is the place for you. Basque in the sun and sip on your favorite drink or two. Enjoy the palm trees and the view is the rolling hills. I would say pretty much the best attraction of the entire resort is right here. The design, layout, and atmosphere of this area is amazing! We (our small family), wife, kid and I have been coming for close to 10 years to this resort, and have witnessed first hand the transformations that have taken place here. They've always had a great pool area, but they really cranked it up a few notches on this one. The lazy river is really cool! It can get pretty crazy with tons of people on the float tubes, bumping into each other constantly. There's a couple waterfalls you go under that really dump the water down pretty hard, sometimes enough to knock you off the tube! The only small knock I have on the entire pool area is- only the lazy river is for under 21. Now, I understand that minors cannot be allowed at the swim-up pool bar. Or even the hot jacuzzi pools. But there is an enormous pool that is 5ft deep max that was previously used as a family pool. Huh? I'm guessing if they keep both areas totally separate this gives them better control of everything, therefore less security required. Still an awesome place if you stay at the hotel. Not sure if they allow non-hotel guests anymore. There was a fee of $20 for adults and $10 for kids before. The entire place has plenty of waitresses to bring you drinks or appetizer type food. HORRIBLE IS A GROSS UNDERSTATEMENT DISCLAIMER- IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY THEY WILL DISCRIMINATE. Reserved a cabana for the whole day to celebrate a 26th birthday party. We were there a total of 3 hours before I was approached by a member of my party as I was in the pool that we were being kicked out. surely this was a mistake as my entire group had been floating in the 21+ pool together for hours. My girlfriend left to get our drinks at the bar, in the refillable tumbler provided by the bar, another member of our party went to get a drink refilled by security guard Hunter at the front since she was unable to bring hard kombuchas inside, which she did not know and immediately offered to return them to her car, he said this was not necessary and if she left them at the desk he could fill a cup provided by himself, okay fine. the rest of us stuck to the bar. Brianna at the pool desk saw Hunter break this rule, unbeknownst to us, and yelled at my deaf girlfriend to empty her drink she had purchased from the bar, not hearing her the first time and being approached by staff, she asked "what is this?"which Brianna told a supervisor she was called a B***. when my deaf girlfriend finally realized what was being asked of her, she dumped her drink out, Brianna then snatched her cup out of her hand and dumped plain ice out to further humiliate her. We were told they had a "zero tolerance policy" for the language used, by a deaf woman who found herself surrounded by workers for seemingly no reason. When we confronted the supervisor, Kyle and explained that she was deaf and confused, they changed the story to say she was bringing in outside drinks, our friend offered the information about the kombucha discrepancy, and said she only went back for a refill as she was reassured by Hunter that that was the policy and she was not breaking any rules. the reason for being kicked out changed once again by Kyle and his team of unprofessional goons, that we had outside HARD LIQUOR. This baffled us all as we all had open tabs at the bar and are of age enough to be well past that behavior. When we asked for clarification of what liquor, or who was seen with this "hard liquor", they referred back to my girlfriend and said her tumbler had liquor in it, when we explained that she purchased that drink, and cup from the bar they said because she walked to the pool entrance with our friend (did not step more than 1 foot into the casino) and back, that it was now considered outside alcohol. We were not aware you couldn't drink in the casino now, even if you had purchased the drink and merchandise cup from harrahs pool itself, which is not a rule by the way. We are a group of young professionals who had all had a total of 1-2 drinks at the time this happened and were far from drunk, rowdy or belligerent. My girlfriend apologized to Brianna for any miscommunication or names she thought she had been called and explained she was deaf and asked "what is this?" when being approached. They wanted to hear none of it and each person we asked to speak to was more rude and dismissive than the next. We spent a LOT of money for the few hours we were there on the cabana, food, drinks and tips before we were told we would be forcibly removed for simply trying to explain to the horrible, uneducated staff that this person they were all surrounding, intimidating and grabbing her belongings was a deaf woman. Shame on Brianna, Hunter, Kyle, Che, and Bradley. I honestly can't even say who the worst person was in this situation because they were all so rude and dismissive, not to mention liars trying to cover their own a** and save their jobs. ADA lawyers were called on the spot and we are now pressing charges, very very unfortunate as we are returning guests here for years and this is how we were treated. Kyle and Bradley, as leaders here, you two had the worst attitudes and exceptionally terrible customer service and empathy for another human period. read more

This pool is really cool and fun to hang out at. I'm so sad I didn't get to take any pictures since my phone was dead. Next time I will post some pictures. There is a lazy river that goes around the all ages pool. There are waterfalls that you pass through that make it that much "funner"... I mean you are in Funner, CA!!! There are inner tubes you can use to lounge through the river but I think it's better to just wade in the pool and let the current take you. My son loved it and thought it was the coolest thing ever. You can also order snacks and drinks by the pool. We ordered a bucket of Modelo which came with 5 beers for $30. I thought it was a great deal since the signature drinks were $10 each. We didn't get to try out the food but maybe next time. There is also a 21 and over pool area that I didn't get to enjoy since I had my son with me. But like I said, next time! read more

Dive is cool. Luckily they are no longer doing the "you must order an entree everytime you order a drink" rule. Stupidest B.S. ever. We got some beds, got some drinks, bought some floaties, and straight up chilled. Each floatie for the lazy river was $19 each (for the big ones). They want you wearing masks if you go to the bar area, but if you are in the water you don't have to wear a mask. These COVID rules have no consistency. Decided to get a room at Harrahs and go to DIVE AFTER DARK for a friends birthday celebration. Everything was great , awsome pool , awsome jacuzzi , great music & great crowd. However the bartender "Scott" ruined my night. He was way out of line. He yelled at the poolside bar that it was closed. While there were people there still drinking and it was barely 9pm. There were about 8 people that heard him and were confused becuase it clearly states its open till 1. He then acted like if he was doing us a favor by serving us drinks. Not a smile on his face. He was loud , aggressive and very rude.He treated and talked to the other guests like if they were garbage. He was a total p.o.s. Its unbelievable that this kind of person is serving drinks and representing Harrahs. I wont be back. ill make sure i take my business elsewere. ps. It only took 3 tries to get the dang menu from the workers. After that the service was great and the food/drinks were great too. 23 ordered the cocktail timber, shrimp skewers and sundae. The food service for the pool on Friday was 6pm on a Friday? We should have gotten more shrimp skewer. It was delish!! The drinks were decent and the sundae was yummy. The only thing was that the lazy river area was jam packed since that is the only area for kids. The rest of the area is for 21+. There were no lounge chairs for or tubs for about 1.5 hrs while we were there. That part sucked! read more

The Dive is a pool area at Harrah's Casino and resort in Rincon near San Diego. The pool area is divided into an adult section and a under 21 section(kid section). The kid section had a wonderful lazy river. It reminds me of the one in Disney Aulani hotel but much smaller. It will be fu for the kids. They love to float in inner tubes around the lazy river. It was fun, and the kids really enjoy the river. The lazy river has several waterfall that will get you wet when you cruise down the lazy river. The have bubble areas the make the water look like it is boiling or in a spa. There are jet stream the push you forward along the lazy river. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 star because they do not have a pool for the kids. The pool are adult only and I know this place is primary for adult. The other reason this place did not a 5 star is the food. It is pool food. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was just okay. We had the carne asada fries, chicken tender, lobster tacos, and Cesar salad. If the food was a bit tastier, I would have given this place 5 stars. read more

We came to celebrate my sisters birthday and got a cabana and bottle service and overall had a great time. However, I feel that our waitress took advantage of our indulging in adult beverages and overcharged our gratuity. Our receipt shows that 20% gratuity is included but they charged us 35% gratuity! On top of that, we didn't realize it was already included and added an additional 20% to our total as tip! That was one lucky waitress that day. I have tried calling Harrah's billing to dispute the additional charge on the gratuity overcharge of 35% instead of 20% but no one has returned my call. Overall, I would recommend this place, but have whoever drank the least pay the tab, haha. read more

I purchased an alcoholic beverage (over iced and weak) in their tumbler cup for $22. My straw that came with the tumbler FELL OUT while walking around the casino. I go to the Dive Bar letting them know what happened. The bartender proceeded to give me a DISPOSABLE straw. I expressed to him that the cup's straw should have a grip to prevent losing. Every tumbler I have at home purchased elsewhere has a grip. They refused to provide satisfactory service. I'm highly upset bcuz the cup is handicapped without the straw. The bar food is delicious and so are the drinks. We stayed pool side all day and servers were on us hand and feet. They stop by frequently to make sure we don't need anything , even the managers too. My hubby and I got three drinks each, three rounds. He had a bud light each round and I tried 3 different drinks. All delicious: all rum mixed drinks, one was mojito, lava, and mai tai. I came with a group of 4 friends for the Friday day event (though we were told we could stay until 1am with our wristbands, so bonus value for $30!) There were plenty of pools and spas to enjoy, though shade was hard to come by, fortunately the main pool swim up bar had misters and a large covered area. Towels are provided so don't worry about bringing your own. We arrived around noon and were able to find a good spot by the bar fire pit, though next time I think we might get a few more people spring for the cabana rental for roughly the same price per person. The bar menu was reasonably priced and all the items were tasty. Throughout the day we sampled the carne asada fries, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and grilled fish tacos. The drink selection was great, big shout out to our bartender Casey taking care of us all day #teambaddecisions. There's also a happy hour special, but the refillable Dive tumbler is a fantastic deal (and a great cup!) The only two downsides I experienced were that you couldn't leave a tab open (you had to bring your credit card back each time) and the lazy river was full of kids so we had a hard time getting floaties to indulge in the splendor of the infamous lazy river. We had the pleasure of spending 28 hours at Harrahs and got a lot of lazy river time in! Highlight for me was the Carne Asada Fries! Delish! Per a trusted source I was told to avoid anything with Lobster..... Would've given the Dive 5 stars but we felt the lazy river wasn't monitored well. My 8 year old was witness to two boys getting into an altercation which involved punches being thrown. EEEKKK! They really need to ramp up on security and keep those wild obnoxious kiddos in check especially considering their parents aren't watching or monitoring.
