I have been a Pinecrest tenant for about two years. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The cost to rent a spot for my trailer is more than reasonable and I love having a place to go, equipped with everything I need and want for a quick vacation away from Orange County. I do not rely on my camper for running water or a bathroom and I do not have hookups but the bathrooms are always immaculate, plenty of HOT water and very accessible. I bring two marine batteries and an inverter and get just enough power to keep my fridge cold, lights on and recharge all of our phones and computers when needed. We generally stay about 2-3 days. Just enough time to hike the trail, go into Julian for a meal or a piece of pie, fill a growler at Nickel Brewery and sometimes even head to Lake Cuyamaca for a little day fishing. The pool is amazing in the summer- the snack bar makes it fun for a treat or even a quick bag of ice when needed. Firewood is always accessible, wild turkeys fun to see... the list goes on and on. If you don't have a trailer, you can rent a tent or RV site for a low rate-much easier and lower than Reserve California and you get hookups! Then there are the vintage rentals... my parents stay there sometimes. SO CUTE and fully equipped. I am seriously confused why more people are not flocking to Pinecrest. I think it is the diamond in the rough. If you have kids or teens or you just want a couples weekend... it's literally perfect. You can rough it or glamp it... however you choose, it will be the place you want to come back to every year or every month in my case.

i could get married here. just the right amount of vintage style and rusty gold and of course great looking trailers for rent as far as the eye can see. we purchased a summertime pool membership just to come and visit the plunge. as long as there are no thunderstorms, and it isn't tuesday, we are all set. the lounge is also amazing as a backup to read a book until the lightening passes, if there's any, and there are instruments and board games--- and a cocktail shaker! seems like a great combo.

Spent a day relaxing at the pool with my mom and little one. It's Mother's Day weekend and the pool…read morewas not crowded at all. This pool is nice! There's the main 21 and over pool with poolside bar and full service waitresses walking around. There are two family pools, one when you first walk in and one to the back. They have a family and adult jacuzzi. They also have a a kid pool in the back with a splash pad area and two water slides. There's several cabanas, a few waterbeds, and pool chairs for rent. There's also a small gift shop if you forgot anything. There is no outside food and drinks unless it's from Pechanga but again there's a full service bar and restaurant. FYI, if staying at the hotel 4 entries are included. You can purchase additional if needed.

We stayed at the Pechanga this past weekend as we had a wedding to attend at a vineyard nearby. The…read moreweather was perfect, so I decided to head over to the pool for some R&R. Everything looked so good online, so I thought, "why not? I'll check it out". When i arrived, the host was very friendly, polite, and check in was a breeze. I found a chair, and was ready to order. Nobody stopped by to take my order, so I had to flag someone down. The service was SLOW and there was plenty of hotel service staff working at the pool. Anyhow, It took my server an hour to bring my drink over, and that was after I had informed the bartender, Mark. I was pretty miffed. If my server, Nick, could pick up the pace and get drinks out in a timely manner, the guy would probably make more money in tips.... However, he was as slow as molasses... Additionally, he double charged me for drinks I did not receive, and I didn't notice that until after i checked out of the hotel and saw the receipt Management, please rectify the situation.
