Fun Fun, large tap selection & of course full bar, Sangria. Perfect location for your after- cocktails when going to and fro on the UWS. Friendly staff, nice fish tank, decently clean bathroom on the main floor (so no stairs which must be a safety feature). If I recall, decent play list. this place was super cozy and fun. has board games, small food menu (pizza popcorn cheeseburger) had candy on all the tables (may have been from halloween) drinks were varied and fair, cocktail I got sour cherry gin one wasn't the strongest or best but hey it's a dive. not too many tables and few with large seating, most seats are for 2. popcorn came in a microwaved bag costco brand but honestly it was great. would come back for sure read more

**This is a personal message for the owner of the establishment** Though this place seems cool and fun, after how rudely I was treated by one of the bartenders tonight, I will NEVER return. I want to preface by saying I tried to complain to the manager before making a review but they didn't even have a manager on staff when I called and asked, which makes sense because their staff treats people horribly, thinks they won't have to face the consequences, and it shows. I don't venture to the UWS often, but tonight my friend performed in a show that was having a meet and greet at Dive 75 afterwards. Whether or not this was agreed upon by Dive 75, I have no idea, but find it hard to believe that a company would extend an invitation to have drinks/food at an [apparently] very small bar that was unaware of their intentions. I arrived with some other friends earlier than the performers. The place was PACKED as it was trivia night and there was no room to sit, let alone eat/ have drinks. Perplexed, my friends and I decided to wait until the others arrived and knew we would probably have to go elsewhere (and had no idea where all of the rest of the party was going to fit). The three of us staked out a small corner chair and waited. All the while, NO bartenders/servers/staff members approached us to ask if we wanted drinks or try to show us space to stand, so we minded our business while we waited, played connect 4 which was behind us. As my friend arrived, she started looking for other places to go. Meanwhile I have two checker drops left before I'm about to kick booty in connect 4 and this bartender (tall, long blonde hair) comes over, gets my friend to get my attention, and asks me in front of everyone if "we were planning to drink" to which I replied no (though we gladly would have if you had had the space) and because we were just about to leave. It was raining out and we wanted to know where to go before getting soaked. She then says, in the nastiest way, "yeah, you really need to go then." WTF? FIRST OF ALL, it wasn't my choice to come here! Second off, how dare you talk to someone like that, and third of all, we were told to come here!!!! Not our fault you're unprepared and busy with your trivia, Shirley. But instead, I clapped back "WE'RE GOING, don't worry" and she then has the AUDACITY to say "there's no need for your attitude, I'm just doing what my boss told me!" Which one of those methods helps you make money? 1) by pushing people out the door or 2) being rude af when you do it? I'm guessing neither, and more power to you if you do, but I'm not the one with a 'tude problem, hon. She then continued attempting to escalate the situation and tried to instigate a response from me, but I myself work in the industry and know better than that and just kept giving her a VIGOROUS thumbs up while I gathered my things. This employee is *SO LUCKY* that I was there on behalf of my friends and out of THEIR COURTESY, I DID NOT get back in her face and DEMAND to see a manager, which I SHOULD HAVE because, apparently, one wasn't even working when I tried to call back later! You should really watch who you hire. Not saying this woman should lose her job (she needs money, not time-wasters, I get it), BUT LEARN THE CIRCUMSTANCES FIRST, girl! And hope I don't ever find you as my service person again. read more

Cool neighborhood bar, good TVs, very good beer selection. The beer prices are about average for the neighborhood. We had a total of 5 beers and all 5 were weak A$$ pours. I'm not going to mention names but the barmaid is probably NOT a beer drinker. Every draft beer drinker I know WANTS THEIR BEER FILLED TO THE RIM! I came here with a few friends for a few drinks. It's a nice crowd and not too crowded. They have some craft beer but I stick with my Stella Artois. The prices aren't bad at all either. They have a jukebox which was fun. The bartenders were friendly which is really nice for a change. I'll be back soon especially since my friend lives around the corner. read more

So me and my girlfriend went into this bar thinking it would be okay since nothing else was open and sadly but not to my surprise they wouldn't seat us due to our complexion . We asked why we couldn't be seated and they said that the manager would rather not . We tried to order for 25 minutes with no response or service from anyone. Ordinarily, not that much of a wait in NYC after a show. However, this place wasn't busy, the tables "on hold" weren't actually occupied by anybody - and the bartenders etc didn't even offer to take a drink order after telling us to move. A good place to watch sports in the neighborhood and it doesn't get too crowded. The patrons are generally a little older than at other bars in the area, which means the bar is usually a little quieter. Sometimes they put out free little bowls of prepackaged candy on the tables like Snickers and stuff. It's not going to blow anyone away, but it's exactly what it says it is: a dive bar.
