As I was driving on Magnolia blvd, going home from Magnolia Grille, I noticed this lovely, quaint,…read morecute thrift shop and decided to stop by.
So glad that I did. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but Icces, who is also the manager of this place, gave me such a nice, great, lovely welcome and we decided to talk a little bit. I was there on the 9th of this month at exactly 5:20pm. Store is open until 7pm.
This is not a trade nor a consignment boutique. You can buy whatever you want and can only donate. It is fairly a new boutique with a lot of great things inside. From shoes to clothes, purses, backpacks, socks, hats, caps, beanies, unique, interesting decor, art work, to books, CDs DVDs, lamps, jewelry to vinyl records, to glasses & a lot more.
A lot of stuff by different designers, too. It was a small store and fully stocked and organized. Nothing was on the floor, and it was not cramped. It looks like it is, but it's not. Every item has its own value and price. It also has another room in addition to the store. 2 spaces in one. They also had festive Fall/Halloween costumes and decorations. Inside and outside. Even few Christmas stuff.
Prices are very affordable, and not cheap looking. Great finds and discounted items. The interesting thing is how in the world can they fit all that in that place? Somehow they did!
This beautiful, sparkly black dress caught my eye and I asked if I can try it on. She took it down and handed it to me. They don't have a fitting room, but the bathroom where I tried my dress was super clean along with the store. She even complimented me by saying how good it looked on me. It was a genuine compliment, not that she was trying to make a buck out of me. I am glad not too many people know about this store. I am the 3rd person to write a review.
That gorgeous dress was in size small, I usually wear medium. Tried it on & surprisingly it fit me. It was stretchable.
I can go on and on about this lovely boutique. I purchased the dress, and left the store. I will be back. When? I don't know. But I will.
They also had flyers, advertising special sales/deals for every day of the week.
Icces, you are one of a kind.
Thank you very much for your kind hospitality.
