The adoptable little one during this visit!

Always an amazing time browsing my Local Crazy Cat Obsessed Heaven on Earth! I love not only the Store Cats Franklin and Nigel but I also love the hard working dedicating team that curated this beautiful thrift shop! I am a local who loves to look around for cool unique things to give to my friends but also to support the local Cat Culture here! I would say that this thrift store is like a Mini Harajuku St, lots to look at so please always take your time to look around because you never know what's in this shop! Today, the vibes were IMMACULATE and the energies were high in the air as always Thank you for also stocking up on pet costumes because my Darling Azuki loves it! Also make sure to check out the Thrift Crawl events! They're always such a nice community event and makes it so nice to stop by, visit, and support locally .

Funky little vintage shop, cat-centric. Vintage and new. I met one of the resident cats. He was sitting near the front door. Friendly guy, let me pet him on the top of his head. The shop is designed like a long hallway with cubbies along the sides, each a different vendor. You checkout at the center of the store where it's all cat wallpaper and merchandise. Adorable. I bought 3 cat enamel pins for $20 and a cat barrette for $8. After I paid, same cat walked up to the register to say thanks. I believe his name is Nigel. The human who actually rung me up was also friendly.

There are a number of antique and/or thrift stores that line Magnolia Boulevard. Catnip Coalition is, without a doubt, the most unique example of these businesses offering a very interesting variety of various vintage and cat orientated items. This is a cat themed store. Which makes it very unique. All throughout this business you'll see various cat orientated items. Some are truly unique. Most are very fun. In association with all the cat stuff, they also have tons of other vintage items. They have clothing, jewelry, magazines, videotapes, record albums, pretty much you name it and they've got it. All the stuff here is truly vintage and truly interesting. So, when you go in here, you are sure to see and or find that very unique something. Great shop!

Catnip got my attention while driving around as a newish addition to the vintage stores in Magnolia Park area. Finally, we stopped by today. They present themselves as a collective and an antique mall. It's the smallest, most cramped Antique mall I shopped at. It's very tight quarters in there. Customer service was attentive, prices are high for what they sell. Lots of merchandise, you feel a tad like in the grandma's attic, a bit of a mix of styles. A plus was the cute cat in the window. Otherwise, overpriced, a tad crowded for me and cat/claustrophobic!

This is an ideal place to check out for any cat lover! Cat items as far as I can see, plus all kinds of clothes. This is a great place to go thrifting, as they had lots of vintage items. I could've spent hours here. And a bonus is that I saw a real cat here! A purrfect outing.

Despite what anyone may stay on the contrary: cats are spiritual gods, a religion and deserve to be worshipped to the utmost. They are exponentially above dogs (sorry, "dog people" but dogs are lesser!) and my cat is literally my reason to live. Facts are facts! What if I told you there is a store with dedicated cat content/merchandise? Behold Catnip Coalition Vintage Mall in Burbank. This spot has recently gained some viral social media fame and with good reason! Let's step inside... Catnip Coalition holds real estate smack dab in the middle of the 'Magnolia Park' section of Magnolia Blvd where antique, vintage and thrift stores reign supreme by famous eateries like Portos. You can't miss Catnip Coalition has its bright three-eyed colorful cat signage is bursting from the façade and an orange kitty sign sits on the sidewalk. You'll also notice that Catnip Coalition warns of two 'store cats' (as though we need a warning - this is a glorious thing!) and also has some kitties up for adoption. To say the least, as a cat worshipper, I was already excited to the max! As you enter Catnip Coalition, you'll notice the quarters are quite cramped as there is one tiny middle walkway (almost akin to a one way alley street) while what can be compared to booths sit on each side. I'm assuming that is the point: to give the feeling of a vintage flea market mall with various sellers in each booth but it most certainly makes shopping difficult and is NOT for the claustrophobic. There were constant "Excuse me" phrases uttered and customers bumping each other. It's just quite uncomfortable in a shopping sense. The goods are great though varying from vintage jewelry to clothing, shoes, purses, belts, pins... pretty much anything you can thing of (prices vary). Towards the middle of the store is where the cat kingdom begins (this is also where the cash register/cashier resides). Cat lovers will hardly be able to hold their glee as you are bombarded with cat jewelry, stickers, magnets, t-shirts, ceramics, socks, etc and in differing styles such as Asian good luck cats and witchy tarot kitties. I did expect a bit more merchandise than was offered but I was pleased well enough. Note: the cashier will ask if you want to round up your purchase to the next dollar to donate to foster/adoption cats although they don't disclose the details of whom/where the money goes. Regardless, I donated). Highlights at Catnip Coalition also include meeting the two store cats! A beautiful, long-haired tortie/ragdoll type kitty and a very pretty grey cat hold the thrones at Catnip Coalition. They were both so calm and absolute sweethearts (the grey kitty was taking a cat nap while the long-haired cat was walking up and down the store). I did find customer service a bit lacking. The cashier was eating at the register (doesn't she get a lunch break?) and didn't welcome or converse with any of the customers around her in the tight space except when checking out. Another staff member was hanging merchandise and called to one of the cats but also did not speak to customers. I expect more from a neighborhood local business and especially when we are packed in like sardines. Catnip Coalition isn't perfect due to the restricted shopping floor space and the abysmal customer service; but it is still a must-see whether you're a cool cat, alley cat or scaredy cat. It is definitely a perfect spot to grab trinkets for your cat-loving friends!

This is my new favorite place to thrift. So fun, so unique. Cats hang out in the store, on little pathways by the ceiling, and behind the glass in the front. Always a unique find, can be pricey so I try not to go crazy, it can add up quickly. Can't wait to go back!

Nigel provided excellent customer service! There are a lot of unique vendors and artists represented at Catnip Coalition. Lots to choose from! I also thought that the prices for most things was fair. However, this store is very narrow and may be overwhelming, especially on crowded days. You definitely should not plan on bringing a stroller or bulky bags in here!

Visited Catnip Coalition and I'm obsessed. Maybe even in love? This unique store combines vintage treasures and cats - a recipe for a truly fabulous time. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner and learned about how her love of helping cats and being vintage lover came together to create this store. They work with other vendors that have stalls or shelves meaning they showcase an incredible variety of vintage goodies! Dig Finity's Anthony Alfonso has a stall there and was setting up his Valentine's Day display saying many people keep their stalls fresh with new finds. I found several sticker and a stunning coat for great prices! Open 11-6pm every day with easy parking and kittens in the window. What's not to love!

This thrift store was so cute and fun to shop at! It was also very nostalgic. There were cute and fluffy cats walking around. The variety of products offered is amazing.

So many things. From hobnail to vintage hats. Two cats live there so be aware if allergic. Wish I'd had more time

Does it get any more charming than a cat themed vintage mall with a cat friendly interior with cats in it???

Lots of monster themed merchandise for sale, skeletons, halloween snack bowls, Stranger Things cookbook, novelty accessories, evil character masks, dead insect and animal displays, creepy sculptures, and of course photo ops galore, like the camp horror boat scene with Jason Voorhees.

Definitely a cool store if you like oddities, macabre, and some spooky goodies. I came in with some…read morefriends and we browsed around the store for a good while as there is a lot to see. If you are into horror and such this is definitely a spot you would like. There are a variety of items to purchase here. Some are more run of the mill mass produced items like candles, purses, slippers, books and such. While other items were clearly thrifted and one of a kind or vintage. Very neat to have that kind of a variety. For example you can get a $20 skill candle or a $400 old operating table. See what I mean? It's definitely a great store to browse around. I easily spent 20 minutes just looking between their three rooms. The reason I did dock one star though is that while it was fun to browse, it's not necessarily my kind of merch. To each their own. Even more so I did find some of the prices to be a little high, maybe it's just me. One example I could give was I found a pretty simple necklace with a bat and heart that I've literally seen a hundred times over at Claire's. That necklace easily is about $7 or so, but here they were selling it for $35. I get they need to make a profit but the quality wasn't there and it was giving child's costume jewelry at a more expensive price. Surely they need to make the rent and knowing that a lot of people who come in are more so "just looking around" it makes sense prices need to be adjusted. A final positive to end on a good note is that the staff are absolutely lovely here. There were multiple staff working which I appreciated. Everyone was very very nice and welcoming. I love their passion for this store and enthusiasm. Nice people work here and I'm glad there is a store like this around for those who can truly appreciate what it has to offer.
