To my dismay, the shoes were returned to me without the original box and dust bag! The shop owner insisted it's their policy to not keep boxes/ dust bags due to space and I would have been notified of this at the time of my selling. These items add value to resale items and I NEVER would've voluntarily let them be tossed in the garbage. Had I known this policy, I would've taken them home just in case the shoes didn't sell. On top of this, I found out the shoes were priced to sell at the shop for more than I had originally paid for them! Of course they wouldn't sell at a crazy inflated price! He helped everyone ahead of me and as soon as it was my turn he pretended to be busy so he did not have to help us. I wear a hijab so I'm visibly Muslim and he did not want to check me out. I waited longer than 5 min in line and it kept getting longer behind me, but he still would not call next, hoping for someone else to check me out. My friend and I ended up leaving our items and walking out. As soon as we passed his register he went to the cash register and called for the next customer. I have never been so blatantly discriminated against and will never step foot into this location again. I called to speak to a manager and the assistant manager (who was apologetic for this man's behavior) let me know that he was in fact a manager which made the situation worse. Very disappointed in this type of behavior especially in this day and age.
