Shout out to Miguel along with the amazing bartenders / baristas. We ordered drinks and later split a sandwich. The espresso and matcha strengths were great quality and the syrups super fragrant. Their cold foam of the day was fresh and thick; I can't wait to try a different flavor a different time. The Serrano Pesto Sandwich was flavorful and hardy. Overall super creamy sauce, textured bread, and well seasoned. Some of the other plates they had looked great too. We stayed for almost 3 hours, they have WiFi as well! Street parking was pretty easy to find and the area is very walkable. We arrived at 11:00am on a Friday and beat the lunch rush; the main seating area definitely filled up by 12:00pm. I would definitely recommend coming in no later than 11:00 to snag a good study table on the weekends.

Cool DJ set inside...I'm sure they throw some fun events!

Stopped by after coming home from a work trip to get a late night meal and was so glad we did! Service was top notch! From the minute we walked up to the door to the dish recommendations, everything was so warm and welcoming. Drinks, both alcoholic and NA, were well-balanced and refreshing. Really opened our appetite to crush a bunch of fresh seafood ...speaking of... Wow. Just wow. Everything was so fresh and you could taste the ocean in each bite. - Oysters were freshly shucked and delicious without any of the add-on sauces/dressings - Carpaccio: not to say that it wasn't delicious. It's just that compared to everything else, this was just good. skippable tbh - Sardines on toast: another banger! such thick whole pieces that just melted away with each bite. yum. - Mussels (MVP app): wowwwww so good. Underrated. So glad our server recommended them. If I had to redo our meal, I'd have ordered 2 and skipped the carpaccio. MUST GET MUSSELS. - Beets were a refreshing change from the seafood. Open to other salads but def order one as a palette refresher from all the ocean - Octopus: perfectly cooked and not chewy at all - Potatoes: too heavy to end with. Not bad in any way but I'd skip this next time. Really only want a half bite. All in all, Mabel's smashed it and we'll be back 100%. Cheers, Mabel's!

They were promoting the movie Garfield at the time, so we got some swag as well. There weren't too many cats on the first level. We went upstairs and that's where there were a few more cats playing and running around. We ordered a couple of drinks, charcuterie, and flatbread. It was a bit difficult to eat our food since the cats would come around and want to lick everything LOL. Overall, I had a fun time here, but will probably skip the food next time.

Most cafes/lounges are in shopping centers and do not have the luxury of such a cool feature. I love how secure the facility is by having multiple doors to keep the cats safe and from getting outside. You can tell that the owners carefully thought out their space and the thing I appreciate the most is that you do not smell the litter boxes. I have been to a couple of cafes that smelled horribly and this is coming from someone that not only has a cat sanctuary in ATX, but I have had cats my entire life and you never smell litter box in my home or in my facility. Whiskers and Wine is a great place to unwind and spend time with beautiful kitties in need of a fur-ever home. I understand that some people do not get the concept of a cat cafe, but in order for them to provide such an incredible service to animals, they still have to pay the bills to house and feed the cats. The biggest take away is that cage free facilities are much better for the cats than when they are kept in cages at the local shelter or other animal rescues. Thank you for a great time and for all that you do to help cats in need!

Creaminess of the buffalo mozzarella cut through the acidic radicchio. Hints of mint. I was not expecting to love this dish as much as I did. The meatballs were excellent. After ordering a bottle of wine and to make my life really easy, I opted for the (forgive me for forgetting the actual name) set menu. That was a wise decision that took all of the thinking out of the experience for me and allowed me to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. The food seemingly kept coming, and coming, and coming. The portions were not the size of an entree but also weren't lacking in size one bit. Everything that hit the table was a big win and I really liked how thought out and well-timed everything was. Our server was so damn cool, casual yet informative, and really rounded out the experience for me. A staff member can make or break a dining experience and in this case she made everything taste better and better with each and every course. Once again, to have lived so nearby and never tried Cori is a true sin, one that I won't let happen again. Cori made a fan out of me and because of that, I'll certainly be returning sooner than later.
