I was in town for work and needed to get a dip manicure. A friend suggested diva nail... however, i was floored at how horrendous the experience end up. The nail technician had a million and one issues, which resulted in a 2 hour appointment. The top coat hadn't dried yet and she didn't check before she used lotion on my hands, which made wiped it off and made it matte. They it was an uphill battle (about 3 tries) until she could get my right hand looking normal. Throughout the process, she wasn't communicating about the mishaps despite my questions (that were ignored). Another lady came over and basically said sometimes the top cost doesn't seal.... hmmm never heard of experienced that and i have been getting dip for 3+ years. When i left they handed me a discount card for my next visit and when i explained that i didn't live in the area, she said she would take some off the cost. However, she still rang me up for $40. That doesn't sound like discounted at all. My dip mani was on Thursday evening and it's now Monday afternoon.... just like i thought, it's chipping off. It was my first time ever in Denver and I needed to get my nails and toes done because it was already 3 weeks , and I didn't want my nails to be breaking. It was a Saturday's evening, and we came one hour before they were closing, so they took us in. They don't have a large range colors of gel polish. The lady that took care of me she did my pedicure and my gel manicure. For the pedicure, it was decent job, I just wish she wasn't afraid to cut more cuticles though. I can't believe that after the next day, my pinky toes are hurting that because she didn't cut all my cuticles.... that was disappointing. I was very upset because while she was taking off my gel color , she wasn't trying hard at all to take all the old polish off.... I can still see it on my nails and of course when she painted the new color on my nails . Guess what? It freaking show! It wasn't smooth on 1 of my finger. After she cleans my nails with the alcohol , the color came out very dull, not shiny one bit. I was very upset , however , we paid and tips them very well. I kinda understand why it's so expensive because it's in cherry creek but the service and the skills should be match. A day later, my nails broke. I got my nails done for so long and I never had any problem such as breaking my nails and nail polish chipping the next day! Men's pedi&mani is $50 and pedicure is $37 and gel mani is $35. Fantastic pedicure from Yung (sp?) today! I had been on my feet all week for a huge work event plus recovering from a broken leg, and she worked wonders. Super thorough with the cuticles and dead skin (but didn't take all my callous, which was so appreciated). I went in to get a full set and they were horrible, my nail broke before i even left the salon. i went back the next day and she gave me attitude the whole time. my pedicure was the worst i've ever experienced. i'm not the person to go and confront but i honestly felt like it was because i'm trans. i went in to relax and treat myself but this experience was the worst. i was stressed out the whole time and even though they fixed it for free, they still broke after not even an hour. if i could give negative stars, i would. don't waste your energy or money here. read more

They are clean, very sweet girls, relaxing atmosphere, do a great job on my nails & always love my shoulder rub at the end. If you work in the area or at Pura vida , it's very convenient. Unfortunately, I agree with what others have posted. It is a lovely place inside but the pedicure was not worth the $37. The water was cold, the work on your heels is non existent. I was not even sure why she used the sugar scrub since she basically put it on with one stroke and in the next stroke rinsed it off. The massage before painting was minimal and then we were rushed over to the drying table and told to pay in a very harsh way. OK, so I waited a few days to write this review for a number of reasons. 1. I was upset when I left this place and didn't want to write a review out of anger 2. I wanted to see how my nails looked after a few days So let me start by saying this place is very calm and quiet, it is beautiful inside. I got a pedi and a rebase. When you walk in the women are very welcoming. My pedicure, I have no complaints about! It was $37, relaxing and worth it. My rebase on the other hand is unacceptable. One of the ladies started my rebase while i was getting my pedi which I can understand she did it to save me time, however it took away from me actually enjoying my pedi as much because she kept cutting my cuticles with the nail file. They charged me $30 for a rebase (which is insane) but it is my fault because of course when you walk into places that have no pricing on the wall, that is a sign! They will charge you whatever the hell they want. On another note I have NEVER witnessed the process of the rebase she did...She sprinkled the powder on my nail where it grew out and then secured it with nail glue. Ive been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for over 5 years and have never seen this!...ever! Not to mention it is very unsuccessful! My nails began to chip the next day and the paint on them looks terrible! I would've been a bit more comfortable with the $30 if they at least did a good job but I will never step foot into this place again for anything besides a pedi (hints the 2 star instead of 1). I asked her about the prices after she slid my card (another mistake instead of asking up front) and she said "you pay for area"...however a pedi where I usually go is $35 so why is it that a rebase here is $30 but where I often go is only $12....I'll pass on "paying for an area". This was my first time ever getting my nails done in Denver and I am so disappointed. I wanted to like this salon. It's cute and clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, I got gel polish done and in less than a week almost every single nail has noticeably chipped and peeled. I don't work in an industry where I am hard on my hands so this is unacceptable.
