We got 2 dita sunglasses one for me and one for my wife from my dad and mom for our anniversary. mine is Dita Talon/Titanium 23007-F-RGD-62 my wife is Dita Arise Since day one when we try cleaning the lenses u feel them move That means the lens size in not matching the frame size. especially mine the lens keeps getting out of the frame, one time it fall of the ground. I called the Customer Service and they asked me to visit a store in my area to tight it up and i did but still nothing changed. i asked them to check it out, they said send it by mail and the invoice with it. i said its a gift i don't have invoice. they kept asking questions where did u buy it from, Dita these are ur glasses, doest it really matter if its from online or store? Expensive sunglasses like these should treat customers better than that. read more

I had a great customer service experience yesterday with Dita. I bought a pair of prescription glasses ( statesmen in black) a few months ago. With everyday use, one of the legs became loose and lost a small bolt which fixed the leg to the frame. I immediately called and the sales associate on the line told me to come in ASAP. I came in the next day without an appointment. after looking over the frames, the sales girl proceeded to unscrew and lessen the tension on each side of the frame. She polished the frames and handed them back to me, Free of charge! I was s baffled that I was serviced completely free of charge that I practically walked out skipping. This has to be the best encounter I've ever had in a melrose shop. Love their glasses, great customer service! read more

I have been to Dita three times in the past two weeks, and I ended up buying three pairs of glasses there. Yes, the glasses are amazing. Gorgeous and comfortable and perfect. But the people who work there are just maximally great. Logan in particular is amazing -- she helped my husband try on almost every pair of frames in the store until he found the perfect pair. So, so patient with us. A note for those of you who think of Dita primarily for sunglasses: if you have a large head and/or like interesting and unique optical frames for everyday wear, I seriously (!) recommend putting your regular non-tinted prescription into one of Dita's sunglass frames. It will look amazing, and it opens up styles/options that you won't find anywhere else. read more

I purchased a pair of Dita's a few years back. My favorite glasses - ever. Was packing my car, put my glasses on the trunk, my child closed the trunk - wham. Sent glasses to Brady Wills, Melrose store. He informed me glasses were out of production. He even double checked inventory for spare parts. No luck. But we decided he would try and fix. I received glasses back today. 100% fixed. A kind note. A new Dita cleaning cloth. NO CHARGE ! I am a lifetime raving fan of both DITA and Brady. Best product. Best customer service read more

Tarlan told me which frame would best complement the shape of my face and my skin/hair coloring, etc. When I asked her opinion about a specific frame, she answered honestly and explained the reason. (I totally trusted her judgment, because I loved her personal style.) Tarlan also helped me understand all the optional features, such as anti-reflective and UV protection and transition lenses with blue light... I take my eyeglass frames very seriously, because I think of them to be, by far, my most important accessory. Everyone sees them, and you wear them for at least a couple years. They reflect your personality. I know this sounds OCD, but I actually spent hours Googling "Best Eyeglass stores in LA" before I even started shopping. Then I visited at least 5 of the "top 10 eyeglass frame stores" (Lux, Hye, etc.) before l.a.Eyeworks! At the other stores, I found frames that were "just okay." The thing I love most about l.a.Eyeworks (besides working with Tarlan) is that they carry a unique selection of frames you won't find anywhere else! That sounds like a commercial advertisement. LOL. The processes and the technology they have is all 21st century. I have never gone for an annual eye exam and experienced such thoroughness and efficiency. Jesse Lam, the Optometrist, although very young, is super smart and very thorough. The documentation of the exam and results he provided is beyond anything I have ever received in dozens of other annual exams. I cannot recommend higher for you to use this office and its team for your eye exam needs (and no, I am not a stockholder or a relative).
