The chicken was Hot and seasoned. The servers came to our table in the section that was "technically" outside of the restaurant where we had been sitting for the hotel's evening reception. No complaints!

Located within the Embassy Suites in the Georgetown area, the inside of the hotel is beautiful and spacious. The waitress was friendly and hospitable. The food hit the spot for a late dinner, as we just arrived from a long road trip from home. The portion was good and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to have a small, quick dinner in the area.

A decent place to get a bite or drink if you are staying at the embassy suites and have a $25 food credit to use. I've had the flatbread and steak. The flatbread was fine for the kids. The ribeye steak was well salted but a little over done (I ordered medium rare and you'll barely see a hint of pink) but went down fine with the free happy hour wine. The servers are super friendly and helpful.

District Tap is located in the Embassy Suites hotel. Guests are coerced to dine at this restaurant by charging a "Mandatory Destination Charge" of $25 per night. This shows up on your bill as a "Suite Tax". I also suspect that this is somewhat of a scam. When I checked in the guest clerk did not mention this charge. Only after I received my keys and was about to leave that I asked about the "Destination Charge". The desk clerk said she forgot to mention it. She then gave me a small card good for $25 credit at the Grab N Go or District Tap. How many people are never told about the charge or that you get it back as a dining credit in the restaurant. Anyway, I ordered the grilled salmon, which comes with red mashed potatoes and broccoli (see picture). It was $28, and I ordered it to go. Everything was very good, especially the potatoes. I should have checked the bag because there was no butter for the broccoli and no salt or pepper. If you are reading this review while staying at the hotel, and they did not give you a voucher, head down to the front desk and demand the voucher.

One word...Mahlet! She's awesome. Her and her fellow server ran their tails off. We ate there twice during our stay. It was busy both times. Food is not bad for a hotel restaurant. The chicken salad croissant was awesome. The seating options were comfortable and varied from tables, to bar, to couches. Tv's for sports watching. They were out of a lot the night we arrived reason for a star deduction. I love the people complaining...it's a hotel restaurant!! It's convenient, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. The dessert (decorated by Mahlet) was a special touch for our last night in DC. The hotel, restaurant & amenities are super here!

Solid place for food and sports TV. It's in the Embassy Suites so a hotel eatery. Lots of seating and televisions. I sat at a table for a change. Staff was friendly and efficient. I didn't wait and didn't feel rushed. Tonight I ate a chicken quesadilla and some fries. Both were good. Fries were seasoned with pepper which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was casual, low noise and properly lit. I'd eat here again.

We only ate breakfast here but there was a lot to choose from including an omelette bar. I'll definitely eat here again.

Mediocre at best and very overpriced. Chicken nuggets, a 1 person cheese flatbread and a tiny kids pasta were $60. Nope.

I don't even know how to describe the energy in this place, but you can just feel it the moment you walk in. The restaurant has a dark aesthetic that gives it such a cool, cozy ambiance. My daughter and I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and spicy wontons. Everything was so filling that we ended up ordering another bowl of the Dan Dan noodles! And honestly, I still crave them. The Dan Dan noodles were SO good. The sauce was the perfect combination of creamy and spicy, and there was a generous amount of minced pork that balanced everything out really well. The wontons paired perfectly with the chili sauce that came with them! They were spicy--my ears turned red and my nose started running--but I literally could not stop going back for another bite. Even the wontons alone were incredibly filling. I don't live anywhere near this place, and I genuinely wish I did. I traveled pretty far to get here, and I'd absolutely do it again. For context, my last visit to DC in my teens, I was looking to view DC, in a new light, as an adult. Entering Jane Jane somehow felt like home. While Nobies offers great food, Jane Jane kills it with their cocktails...and the complimentary bowl of cheese its...perfect bar food I guess? Their legend's menu is just that. Although I came in anticipating ordering one drink, that one turned into two after trying the "A La Playa". I'm not sure I'd sip it on the beach, but the sweet, slightly Smokey, fruity concoctions now lives on my list of favorites drinks. It has the perfect balance of flavors.
