From beginning to end, the team kept me informed every step of the way, providing detailed explanations along with photos and videos of the work. Whenever I had a question or concern, they responded right away, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Tony also went above and beyond to take care of some additional work and made sure everything was completed properly before leaving. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely such a sweet person to work with. What impressed me most was that their professionalism remained consistent from the beginning of the contract all the way through the completion of the job. They truly put in their best effort and made sure the work was finished properly. A wonderful, reliable, and professional team. I highly recommend them!

Short Review: Great work/value and genuinely exceptional…read morecustomer service. Matan, Tony, and his team did an amazing job on my attic. The attic work itself was perfect. What they impressed me most was how they went above and beyond whenever an unexpected issue came up. Catching a hidden leaking pipe to helping me find a plumber within the hour, fixing and painting my attic door, and coming back promptly to address an airflow issue, they consistently made me feel like they truly cared about my home. I'm extremely happy with the service (I'd give /5) and would highly recommend them! Long Review: I reached out initially to cancel when I decided on another quote. That's when Matan reached out to me and asked if he could stop by ASAP. His initial evaluation was very clear as well as his recommendations. He explained all the details very clearly with visual examples as well (booklet, video). For my 820 sq ft small attic (3-4 ft tall), his quote was the best compared to 3 other companies that I had reached out to for the amount of work done. I received the quote immediately after Matan left my place. Matan and his team (led by Tony) completed the home prep, hepa filter, insulation removal/vacuuming, roden proofing, air sealing, sanitizing, R44 blown in insulation (15"), air duct repair, and pulled up air ducts where applicable. They also recommended installing junctions for the open wires they found in the attic, which was a fire hazard. There is a lifetime warranty on the insulation, a year warranty on the repair work, and a 3 year warranty on the rodent proofing! During the visit, Tony + the team were prompt and finished all the hard work in one working day (9am-5pm) When all the insulation was out, Tony told me that there was a corroded water pipe that was leaking occasionally. I assure you That definitely would not have been caught by me... Matan then helped me look for a same-day plumber (within the hour the issue was found) who was able to fix the pipe. He also helped fixed my attic door that was broken and even painted it for me. Tony and his team then finished the work after plumber finished. I really appreciated their hard work, attention to detail, especially in the smaller attic. After work was done/a day later, I had mentioned an issue to Matan that I wasn't feeling any air in the house and that I couldn't hear any airflow. I thought maybe the insulation is that good Actually, it was not the fault of his team or anyone. there was a missed hole in my cassette style air handler in the ceiling where the insulation was getting through. This holes has been there since the house was made so again I want to say it was very easy to miss and nobody's fault. Immediately after reporting the issue, Matan came by to clean the air handler blower wheel and fixed the two holes with wire mesh and expanding foam sealer. This issue would've never been caught without the help of his teams. He did this during his very busy schedule, and made accommodations for me. He also even fixed the air handler door for me as the door seems to be wet. After that fix, he stayed to test the air flow is good and we could hear the airflow again. I hope what you take away from the review is: - Matan and his team really care and pay attention to detail. Not only that, if there's any issues, they will promptly do anything to fix it ASAP. There were so many small details (leaking pipe, broken attic door, air handler door, holes in air handler box on sealing, getting a plumber within the hour) that they helped me solve. Matan kept reassuring me that "I got you" and it is 100% true. I am extremely happy with the service and how they showed up for me more than just the minimum effort. Thank you Matan, Tony, and the team for taking care of me and my place!

Their quote was in-line with the competition as well. Russell has an extensive background doing these jobs himself so he knows what he's talking about. Russell also came over a second time to discuss options for routing our two bath fan exhaust ducts to roof vents when I weighed adding that to our scope. We executed our install over two days in October and everything went smoothly. After air sealing and adding soffit baffling, they blew R30 cellulose over our existing bats. We also added a gasket around our attic access and insulated the back of the panel. My only recommendation is that you, the homeowner, clean your house after the cellulose blowing. There will be fine paper material in the air everywhere, which will settle as dust. Seven months later and our house has been noticeably more temperature stable- warmer over winter and cooler during our recent hot days. Don't skip air-sealing, and make sure to quote with Guardian if you're looking for the best result for your house!

Over the past few years our HVAC system has struggled to keep up with the summer heat. With a new…read moreenergy efficient AC and doors & windows it still struggled. The missing puzzle piece was the insulation in our attic. It was in a pretty sorry state. I asked our HVAC installer, Airmaxx, for a recommendation and they directed us to Dan. I'm glad they did. Our service included a clean-out, rodent/pest proofing, sanitization, air sealing, and new insulation. The improvement to indoor climate control was immediate! The temperature across the the upstairs bedrooms is even now and the AC doesn't run constantly. The crew was on-time, courteous, professional, and fast. They kept us updated on progress and cleaned up before they left. 5 star experience. Finally, the pricing is competitive with the national average for the services we received. So if you're still deliberating or searching for a company, just go with CA Attic and Build. Your home is going to be more comfortable, and you'll save money upfront and in the long run.

I like the work that was done to a degree. That degree is that I have 12" of insulation. Young,…read moreenergetic, crew that wanted to do a good job and for the most part they did. Some were like puppies, slipping, sliding, and dropping, dragging, equipment up and down my stairs. First mistake, a drop cloth to cover wooden stairs, thus the slipping and sliding as some hurriedly navigated the stairs. I heard more than one person fall. It sounded like a slip and slide. I'll add in here the dragging of the vac hose across the stairs, bansiter, and front door was heard in the back yard. Second, I was led to believe by sales guy Noah that there would be no dust because there would be a "tunnel" to the front door so nothing got out. The tunnel was along the upstairs hall of maybe 15 feet and opened onto the top of the stairs. I have mild asthma and had to use a mask while I waited in the taped off kitchen. I was told further that because they sealed the holes, it would not enter the house. Third mistake was that they did not cover there air vent above the HVAC unit, or if the did, when they removed the protection they were not careful to make sure the vent remained clear. As a result, the insulation partially covered the vent and some fell through onto and into my fan/heater unit. Last mistake. Over the course of the day, the floor protection and tunnel came loose or was torn. My bedroom door became ajar and the plastic tunnel came loose so insulation dust was blown into the bedroom by the wind. In one other bedroom, insulation migrated under the door where the tunnel was supposed to be. I am critical because if you are going to do a job, take the time to do it right. Crew was supposed to be on site before eight. They started at 9:30. Be on time. For a young crew, you need a forman or some other quality control. I chose the blown in cellulose. The price was competitive for the amount of work they had to do and the size of the crew. They were a hard working crew, but inexperienced, and that led to other small mistakes. They were respectful and polite. This is what made this a three star and why I recommended them, however, the homeowner needs stay on top of the work being done.
