These guys are awesome! Always great service whether you're just trying to find that perfect disc that's flys just how you like it these guys got you! Anthony was very helpful and setting me up with some really good fairway drivers and putters. Tell them what kind of disc you're looking for to get you better results on the course. Also really nice they have a demo rack of discs so if your thinking about a certain putter they have baskets just outside for you to practice on. This place is great they always have some kind of deal going on and always have misprinted and discounted discs which is nice and well knowledgeable service. Also this course is minutes from the world famous la Mirada course. Wanted to send a shout out to Shane, and Sean, they have helped me in the past too and were very helpful too! Thanks DTW until next time read more

Been coming here for almost a year now. Always great selection of discs and stellar customer service. The value is very high since you get to see and feel products in person. Outside they have 2 practice baskets and have a huge collection of used putters to test out even. No cons at all besides maybe plan your trips around the heat, as it can be very hot in the front public area. read more

If you're a beginner or a professional like me, just kidding, this is the place for you. Tons of discs and accessories you need. I'm not very knowledgeable about disc golf but my husband is an avid player. The staff here are pretty good and answered lots of questions. They even helped me pick out a disc for my son who is just starting to play. Due to covid, they ask that you wash your hands upon entering. I think it's a pretty good idea because I'm assuming everyone will touch something. If you're ever in the area, check them out! read more

This review is for ordering online at DTWorld.com. These guys just continue to prove their awesomeness. Instead of taking the long drive to their store, I decided to use their website to order some discs online. By the way, their prices and selection is equal or better than Amazon. You have much more control of what you want by ordering directly from DTWorld.com regarding what color and weight you want. Here's the deal. It's a flat $4.95 for first-class shipping if your order is under $50 for selected online orders. Way cheaper than gas or a flight to the LA area! I had my order and shipping confirmation on the same day, complete with tracking number, and it was a Sunday!! In just two days, I had my sweet new discs! If you don't live in the area or don't have time to drive there, I highly recommend ordering online from these guys. Go to the store if you can, but if you can't, don't hesitate to order online! DTWorld.com They are the real deal! read more

Totally blew my mind. The Gentleman working was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, sorry didn't catch his name at the time. They have a great selection of weights and colors of so many disc. They had a glow in the dark Nuke that I picked up, super excited to glow play at dusk. They enforce their COVID protect practice. Face mask, small number of people in side, and everyone has to wash there hands as they enter(huge plus). read more

Best shop in SoCal for your discs/accessories, nothing but the best service and selection from here!

There's nothing I can say about DTW that hasn't already been said. It's the preeminent place to buy discs in Southern California. A huge selection of discs and accessories mixed with a courteous, friendly staff, and we have one of the true gems of the disc golf community. read more

I've had 2 great experiences with the staff and overall experience at DTW. Professional and friendly, offering to assist everyone who comes in the door. I ordered a "Big Jerm" Thunderbird and Brandon( maybe brenden, sorry) helped me out with picking it up from the store instead of getting it shipped. They had a dope cotton candy disc w/red foil waiting for me at the front desk. MUCH APPRECIATED! I believe discs are for throwing and I'll be trying this thing out ASAP. Thanks again, DTW! Great shop to get your disc golf gear from. The people behind the counter are friendly and knowledgable about the game, so if you got questions, ask away they seem really down to help. It's a massive warehouse full of discs, so don't let what they have up front fool you they have a ton of stuff in the back, but you'll have to ask to see the discs. The only exceptions are when they have their twice annual sale and you can go back into the shelves in the back and browse away in the stacks. they also have a ton of putters that you can practice with in the front, with their basket outside. THe prices are good. I always drop by here when I come down to play at the La Mirada Disc Golf Course. read more

Great shop and knowledgeable people. Old school feel to the shop. It's a small little shop with a ton of discs and choices to choose from. I am convinced that if you have any disc related question, these guys will be able to answer them. If I had one complaint, it would be that you have to ask to see discs, as they do not have room to display the amount of discs they have to choose from. It's nit picky, and is the only complaint I would have at all with the place. Support your local shops and definitely go here if you live in so cal. Their online shopping experience needs a bit of help and a few changes in my opinion though. read more

I used to order my discs from various websites, but after visiting DTW for the first time, I will only be buying my discs from them. Great prices. Shockingly huge selection. Extremely knowledgable staff. You can often find discs here that are out of stock everywhere else. PLUS, if you are in the LA area, your discs arrive SO FAST and in perfect condition. DTW is a true gem and will definitely be my go-to shop for discs from here on out. Highly recommend! read more

Played a few rounds at Oak Grove and lost my Star Vulcan driver in the "tick bush" (ugh, such a bummer!). While driving back to Long Beach, stopped off in Buena Park at Discovering The World to pick up a replacement. Called ahead and they had exactly what I needed. Been wanting to swing by this place for a long time now, but after a few rounds at La Marada, I'm usually too tired to stop here. The place is quite hard to spot...although there's a huge logo on the side of the building, it's still a tough spot from the street. Walking inside, you're met with a small showroom with discs on the wall and a few racks with discs. Looking beyond the showroom, you will see their warehouse where they house thousands of discs. There's a few bins of discounted and discontinued discs and a practice basket outside if you want to try out some discs before purchasing them. Paid just over 16 bucks for my replacement Vulcan...and that's with tax, so in all really nice prices. Purchases also come with a Discovering The World mini disc (marker). Service is really helpful and their selection is really extensive. Those not local to So. Cal can check their website for online ordering. Great spot for Disc Golf fanatics like yours truly. read more

This place is awesome and I knew nothing about frisbee golf and Andrew was really awesome, informative and patient. I ended up buying a really nice gift for my best friend and I would hands down recommend this place to anyone, they had a huuuge selection to pick from. Parking is abundant and the area isn't bad. Again shout out to Andrew for the great service I will be coming back here again in the future and maybe if I want to start playing frisbee golf myself and need some discs. read more

If you're looking for a spot that has a great selection of discs, then you've found the right spot. They have discs from most of the disc makers around. Also other things like bags, baskets, mini discs, etc. The staff was helpful and answered and questions I had about info on the discs. Also they had lots of suggestions based on my questions. The shop is also pretty close to one of the best places to Disc Golf, La Mirada. So you can get some sweet flyers and head right out and test them at the course. I only wish this place was closer or I would go more often. It's nice to see a shop that isn't just filled with Innova product. After years of using Innova(which is a great product), I have been wanting to see what else is out there. I grabbed the Inanity by Axiom, the Underworld by Westside discs and the Servo by MVP. I was so happy with my choices I will definitely be heading back down there next time I can to see if I can get some more good discs by those brands. Thanks for Having such a great shop. read more

For me, this place is equivalent to a candy store for a little kid. It's a family owned business, and they really friendly and helpful. Huge selections : discs, bags, baskets, towels, DVDs, and much more. Recently, I picked up Axiom Disc Proton Envy Watermelon (175g) and Neutron Envy (163g) on their annual warehouse sale (10% off entire store). The good part of this warehouse sale is you can actually walk around in the warehouse and choose, look, pick whatever your heart desire. read more

So I've been wanting to disc golf for a while now, and after going with a group I'm ready to purchase some gear. Kudos to the team that works here for being really helpful.
