Buyer beware - as others have mentioned here, these guys ripped my elderly parents off and refused to make it right. They sold them a malfunctioning RV, and sold them a bogus "inspection/fix" plan for an additional $900. After picking it up, the RV had electrical problems, the table broke, and the radiator was spewing brown liquid. Another mechanic looked at it and said "this was not fixed in the first place". Total ripoff, and they arrogantly refused a refund. Do not buy here. read more

My sister rented a 5th wheel for a special training exercise with a group she volunteers with for 5 days. She had the 5th wheel delivered to the campground. It was delivered twos days early due to Discover RV schedule which inconvenienced our schedule. Discover RV called us in the morning telling us they were ready to leave their facility in 20 minutes. We rushed out of a class we were in because it was a 2 hour drive to the campground. It turns out the delivery crew didn't leave the facility until 3 hours later which meant we had to sit at the camp for 2 hours in 97 degree weather. We understand there can be delays BUT... we kept calling Discover RV to find out why the delivery crew wasn't at the campground only to be told they would call us back after they talk to the delivery crew. Again we had to wait and wait only to be finally told that besides the delivery crew leaving 3 hours later they stopped for lunch on the way and then they got lost!!! Then we had to wait while they figured out how to set it up. They told us it was their first time with that model. Once up at camp and in the 5th wheel we noticed a strong odor (putting it mildly) in the upper bedroom area. It was the strongest on the floor near the right side head of the bed and closet area. We had other people come in and the odor was determined to be Cat spray!!!! Fellow campers suggested and brought over Bounce sheets and room deodorizer to place in the room to help disguise the odor. It only had one air-conditioning vent so with the heat it just made the odor stronger. The room wasn't useable so we had to close the doors to keep the odor from the rest of the RV. One evening while doing dishes our sink didn't drain. A couple of the other people (RVer's) checked and found out that the lever which would allow our tanks to empty the grey water into the septic system was closed. These levers were supposedly to be opened as part of the set-up procedure as we discussed this with them in advance and at the time of the set-up. Below the bench seat dining area as your sliding into the dining area to sit there is a storage area beneath the seats with doors that face out. These doors have handles on them so as your sliding in we had 2 people plus myself bruise and scrape/cut the skin off their lower calf. It was almost impossible not to hit these handles. Luckily people were wearing long (uniform) pants most of the time which protected their legs. There was a floor vent as you came into the RV which was bent/curled up at the corners. We had to place tape on the edges to make sure no one caught their foot on it. We feel that the RV was cosmetically cleaned but the freezer wasn't cleaned and areas around the toilet weren't clean and the inside of cabinets weren't wiped. We couldn't unpack our items for the week without cleaning first. We had a scheduled 2 hour pick-up time for the RV and the people who were supposed to pick it up didn't even leave Discover RV (2 hours away) until the end of the 2 hour period of when they were supposed to be there. You would think after the way they screwed up the timing of the delivery to the campground they would be better about when they got there to pick it up! Ok, here's the issue. It would've been nice if they called to tell us of the delay but once again, we had to call them and wait for them to call us back hours later to let us know when they expected to be there. In case you're wondering....they require a 2 hour window and charge for pick-up and delivery which we paid. My sister very nicely let Discovery RV know about all the above issues and she was told, "Thank you for bringing this to our attention and they'll look into it!" All she received back from this was their standard Security Deposit letter with the receipt for the Security Deposit being returned. No call from management or letter of apology. I would not Purchase or get your RV fixed here. We purchased our RV in 2017 and when it was damaged we took back to have repaired. They do not have a shop to fix. They fix RV's outside and then park your RV on the street and leave it. The work they completed looks like a 2 year old put the silicon on it and looks like my RV aged 10 years. We requested for them to fix and came back the next day to find that nothing was done but silicon on the sides of are RV were there should not be any and scratches on the sides and handle and curbed our new tires. But they definitely took our money in a heart beat and didn't even care to provide some refund or pay another RV place to fix. read more

Extremely lazy sales people.Could not get them to go out to lot and take pics of a trailer.Also pricing issues, is the price of the rv 9k..10k..11k..13k? They couldn't make up their minds on prices. Dependent upon whom you spoke to. You definitely do not want to deal with Phillip, he has a profound used car salesman persona. Very disingenuous. Their prices are double that of Nada value on many rv's. When asked to see the "blue book listing" to substantiate the listed price (which I could not find for that model), I got nothing but double talk. Discover RV was a pleasure to deal with. We had been looking for an RV for more than six months. We had been to most the dealers and seeing what was on most of the lots. We had gone to Davis to see an advertised RV which was supposedly sold when we got there. We called Discover RV to see if they're advertised units were on the lot and decided to just drive on over to Lodi. Our sales rep was Jim and he was so gracious and easy-going and no pressure but so willing to show us everything and the comparisons between RVS. They have a lot of inventory to choose from. We felt like we got a fantastic deal and got everything we wanted in our RV. The advice and the follow up service they have given us has been great. I would definitely buy from them again and I would especially ask for Jim. Discover RV is a little far from where we live but it was most definitely worth the drive! read more

I brought my travel trailer in for warranty work and it spent a month there being repaired during the rainy season I got a call saying everything was fixed and to come and pick it up I picked it up and took it to my storage facility when I got to my storage facility I went inside to make sure that the refrigerator was cracked open to stop mold upon entering the unit over by the refrigerator I found that the trailer was flooded in that area The water had gotten on top of the dining room table as well as a footstool and the carpet was totally soaked The table was so wet that it had warped and the top had separated I immediately called the dealership and took it directly back all the damage was directly underneath The roof hatch The owner of the dealership came out and looked at everything and claimed that it was not their fault that the leak came from the slide out I did not except that explanation and said that the roof hatch must've been left open of but he claimed that could not be. His repair man showed me where it had leaked around the corners by taking a hose and spraying it directly onto the slide out gaskets this is not a real world test I had it checked out independently after and it went through two major rainstorms after nothing had leaked on the slide out. It was a Keystone Trailer and they refused to work on it and told me to get it out of there. They told me Keystone trailers were junk and they would not work on any of them anymore. They never took responsibility for the water damage or the fact that most likely the roof vent was left open while in their possession. The owner was very rude to both myself and my partner The fact that they let me pick it up with all the damage done and never told me about it says a lot about this dealership. I believe they were hoping that I would've put it away in storage with me never looking at the inside and at that point all the damage would've been put on me. No one there would take responsibility for leaving the vent open. read more

If you want to rent an RV and you live in the Central Valley, this is a perfect place to go. Simple was an understatement...I was in and out in no time and on the road to Oregon with my wife and 3 kids. This was our first RV rental as a family and the experience was excellent and returning the vehicle was just as easy. The "Only" issue I have is that my three kids now want to travel by RV for every trip - even for a 2 hour destination. We will definitely go back to Discover RV. We bought a used Bounder from Discover RV in October. The salesman was very nice, but after that, the company itself leaves much to be desired. We understood that buying a used RV meant "as is". We did a walk through on the pickup day and they went through most systems. We took for granted that the dash heat would work...wrong were we. We also had asked for the roof to be inspected and repaired if needed. On pickup day we were assured that it was done. However, the roof leaked a couple of months later, from the area they "repaired". We contacted them for resolution, but heard nothing in a week, so took it to a RV repair place, because of an impending rainstorm. We forwarded the bill to Discover RV, to which they sent us a terse reply of no. It has been a struggle with this company. We would not recommend doing any business in sales or repair. In their effort to save $200, they will lose far more in future business. read more

My husband and I stumbled on this place because we were checking out the local campground. I would NOT recommend anyone buy an RV from this place! The only reason we bought a used trailer from here is because we found a trailer we liked but the customer service stinks! We paid the $895 for a diagnostic which we are pretty sure they did not check anything on the trailer. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE DIAGNOSITC! We have a laundry list of issues that are pre existing on the trailer and should be fixed by Discover RV. We live about 2 hrs from the dealership and it is not convienent to take the RV back to them if they are willing to fix these issues. They should send a mobile repair guy to me or pay my deductible so I can use my Good Sam Warranty I bought separately. Best case they would refund my $895!!! When we went to pick up our trailer and sign papers and do a walk through, the staff had NO idea how to operate anything on the trailer or show us how to use anything on the trailer. They didn't even have a 50 AMP electrical connection to actually allow us to plug in our trailer and check everythg out (AC, microwave, etc) we kept blowing the circuit breaker on their weak power system. My husband and I basically pushed every button on our own in the trailer and did our own walk though. They didn't even detail the trailer prior to us taking it home. Not impressed at all by these dealership and would never buy from them again. read more
