Started out be getting a quote online, not all upholstery places are able to work on office chair, due to the seams on the plastic frame backing. Then went in-store to pick out the fabric. I wanted to change out my fabric cushions on my office chair as it was staining and creasing. After I picked out the new material all I had to do was wait and get the cushions back. Everything fit perfectly as cushions are taught as if they were brand new. Even with the new material the grooves and contours were all maintained. We had a couch that was very well constructed and had already been reupholstered twice during its long "life". To update the fabric and repair cat scratch damage we looked for someone to take on the job. Discount Upholstery received great reviews so we paid them a visit. They had plenty of fabric samples to choose from and were helpful in making a choice. Their price was very reasonable (it included local pickup and delivery) and they were able to schedule and complete the work within five weeks. We just had this leather chair repaired at DISCOUNT UPHOLSTERY in Concord....the springs were shot...they replaced them, and the fabric on the seat and underneath the chair. The cushion completely redone, springs and down wrap. It is perfect, the chair was expensive initially, and the leather was still in great condition. They also replaced all of the nailhead trim complementary as they were unable to match the small portion they needed to remove for repairs. The rocker had been in heavy cigarette smoke homes for 80+ years and I was concerned about the odor staying in the fabric and foam cushion. What can I say about the guys over there at discount upholstery!! I contacted Bruce and asked him for a custom ottoman and he said he could do it. I gave him the dimensions and a little less then a month later this shows up! It was way more then I expected, the attention to detail is phenomenal, the fabric is exactly what I wanted. The team of guys over there are proficient, knowledgeable, and very fast. Bonus points for them, I had called over there about two weeks after I talked to Bruce and I asked if he could attach casters to it because my place is all hardwood, and with a quick adjustment it arrived with them. They picked up my chairs in Vallejo at no extra charge, completed the work in an excellent fashion, and delivered the chairs back to me on the schedule they had agreed to.
