Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Sachse, Texas

I want to start by saying Gustavo has been AMAZING. His customer service, communication, and willingness to help have been outstanding. Unfortunately, the overall experience has been frustrating. I purchased four new tires and four new wheels last weekend, and since the installation my car shakes above 60 mph--something it did not do before. I returned Friday to have additional parts installed, only to learn the wrong ones had been ordered. Gustavo personally picked up the correct parts this morning, which I greatly appreciate. My issue is that I'm now sitting here waiting behind a large number of cars to have their mistake corrected. I was also told yesterday that no appointment was necessary. I completely respect customers who arrived before me, but this isn't a new service--I'm returning because of an issue with work already performed. When a customer has to return because something wasn't done correctly, I believe correcting that problem should be prioritized. Again, Gustavo gets 5 stars for customer service. My frustration is with how the location handles service recovery when the customer has to return through no fault of their own. read more

THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD EVER GO TO. Just wanted my tires rotated and refused to do it, even though they were not that bad, insisted on me buying new tires. Went to NTB, they rotated them with no problem and called discount tire morons. I will never give discount tire my business ever again. NTB or anywhere elsewhere but them. read more

I appreciated that they have a progress bar (that you can look up on your phone) that shows you how much time they have left to work on your vehicle. My husband was able to switch his work van tires from his old van to the new one at this Discount. They were timely and the van feels so much better after the switch. read more

As much as I appreciate a free tire repair, this time, it felt shady like they were just trying to sell me a tire. Other times I've always gotten a receipt, despite it being a free service, and they've shown me, or explained more about the damage to the tire. This time the guy was pretty evasive about it. I don't think I'd go to this location again. read more

THIS is how customer service should be done. From the moment I pulled up, the team at Discount Tire was already waiting and ready to help--no hesitation, no confusion, just excellent service. The inside of the store was spotless, and every employee I interacted with was friendly and professional. Austin took the time to listen to my situation, validated my concerns, and immediately got to work on my car. There was no long wait at all--I was in and out in about 30 minutes, and I arrived around 9:07 a.m., so the process was smooth and efficient. The best part? The service was completely free. They rotated my tires, aired them up, and even updated my profile without me having to ask. Tuan was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I truly appreciated. This location off Highway 78 in Sachse genuinely values its customers and their time. The professionalism, respect, and transparency here were unmatched. I absolutely recommend this Discount Tire to anyone looking for honest, fast, and top-tier service. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Discount Tire location. About 1.5 years ago, I replaced all four tires at another Discount Tire store. Recently, I visited this location because I got a flat. The technician informed me that since I didn't have a warranty for the flat replacement, and because the tire model I originally purchased had been discontinued, they recommended replacing the damaged tire with a new model. They also suggested replacing a second tire so both on that axle would match. Even though the second tire was perfectly fine, we agreed to their recommendation. We specifically told the technician to keep the good tire for us so we could take it home as a backup. However, when we returned to pick up the vehicle, we were told the tire had already been disposed of and was no longer at the facility. This was extremely frustrating because we had clearly asked for the tire to be saved. What made the experience worse was how the situation was handled afterward. We were passed around to four different staff members and managers, and not a single person took responsibility or offered a solution. There was no accountability and no effort to make things right. It felt like the focus was only on selling more tires rather than providing honest service or respecting customer requests. Unfortunately, the level of customer service and accountability here was extremely poor. Based on this experience, I would not trust what is promised at this location. Very disappointing. read more

I've been here a few times for my Tires. I purchased them at the Wylie location but came here because it's actually closer to home via this route from Dallas. Each time I've come they have been very professional, from the time I had a nail to the times the weather changes and the tire pressure drops. The service requested is always fulfilled. The value for my tires was great. read more

I bought a full set of rims and tires for over $1600 about a year ago and I just got a nail in one so I needed it replaced. when I called to verify they had my tire they said it's on back order so I can just come in and get another swapped in no problem. But when I arrived it was a problem as my tire Was discounted and I needed to buy a whole new one but I was assured that they aren't the manufacturer so they don't control that other tire not made anymore so I can just pay the differnce and get my tire replaced now. even tho I was told I wouldn't have to worry about price read more

Thank you @Alan for doing a great job and fitting me in just before closing for a tire balance! Giovanni did a great job!

I had the absolute BEST service this morning. I had an appointment at 8am for a tire installation. I was met in the parking lot to hand my keys over. By the time I sat down inside and got out my laptop to start working, my car was already in the bay and had the tires off. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Impeccable and fast service! read more

Kudos to Aiden for his outstanding support! He was able to assist me with multiple issues--helping me get a run-flat tire installed when it was otherwise unavailable, and providing excellent customer service throughout the process. He also took care of my refund with the Rockwall location, as my tire was under warranty. Everything was handled promptly, professionally. Highly recommend this location. read more

I don't visit this location but I tried it out with it being closer to home. I brought my car in for the typical free rotation and balance. Service was quick but upon receiving my car back, my center caps were falling off. Clearly they broke them and just tried to stick em back on there and hope they'd stay on. When i asked about them, they told me the caps were worn down because of the SUN thats why the tabs in the center caps are suddenly broken after I handed off my keys to you. Probably the dumbest s$!t I ever heard especially when my vehicle is garage kept. No point in even arguing. No accountability nor did they offer to replace them. read more

They went above and beyond to help me!!! Walked in at 445 when they closed at 5, checked out my tire, flat and unsafe to drive, willing to order a new one and stay open for me to wait for my ride to arrive after hours!! Highly recommend, very thankful!! read more

RESOLVED: After speaking with customer support the location manager had the tire replaced. Highley upset. My tire has not even reached 50% of warranty life (45,000 miles) expectancy at only 16,000 miles and the tire tore off. I call this location in which I purchased the warranty. I was informed that a replacement would have to be ordered since the needed tire was discontinued. I arrived to Discount tire only for them to deny that this was covered under my warranty. Waited at location the entire day until close with no updated E.T.A. Had to ask for update. Whole day waisted with no tires and gave me a quote for $542 for a replacement. If you see the attached pics, you will see how the tire should have been under warranty as it is defective. TIRE BRAND: MICHELIN (Defective) read more

I drove in from Houston not realizing I had two bad tires. My second vehicle, I rarely drive, but use it for long distance trips. Well, driving in from Houston for my daughter's AAU basketball tournament, we started having trouble on a Friday afternoon. I checked the website for the nearest location to our hotel, no available appointments. I told myself, I will just get up early and get the them by 8am. All of the gentlemen were every nice. I explained my situation, and how I was from out of town. My daughter's game was at 10:30, and it was 40 minutes away. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they told me they would try to get me in and out to make her game. She had to ride with other teammates, and it was her first out of town tournament. Well, I made it to baby girl's game. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to see her play, and they really came through for me. Nice, pretty large facility, and clean. I needed two new tires, but it was not a hassle. read more

Customer since late 80's. Worst treatment by the DT management staff, Steven and Tyler. Absolute jerks. This store at one time was customer friendly. Not anymore thanks to those two. Customer's price shop. Duh. I called them and worked with Daniel (the new guy, he was great and the only one that knows customer service). Tyler agreed to an out the door price for tires after Daniel discussed it with him. Arrive at the store and they (managers) try to bait-n-switch by trying to change the terms. I told them to cancel the appointment and started to leave. They agreed to honor the original quote. Left the SUV. Received a text that the vehicle is ready. Arrive at the store. They gave us the keys after we paid and told us the SUV is in the parking lot. Not only did they not drive it to the door as they had with two other customers but they parked the SUV in the farthest corner of the parking lot and did not QC the install because valve stem caps were missing or loose. I went to speak with Steven and Tyler about this but they avoided me by running into the shop. I spoke with Daniel about it. He apologized and installed the caps and gave me extras. read more

I love discount tire. I have bought all my tires there for as long as I can remember. Many tires. Huge numbers of tires. However the one thing that really chaps me is the fact that you can't get an express balance and rotation. I'm already a customer I've got six cars with tires from discount tire and unless I schedule an appointment I get an hour and a half wait every time I walk in the door even when half the bays are empty read more

Went to ntb down the street to get a run flat tire replaced at 5:40 thinking they closed at 7. They said they close at 6 and directed me down to discount tire down the street because they close at 8. Showed up thinking they close at 8:00. Tino checked me in with a smile and as I was waiting, I saw that they were cleaning up. I looked at the door and it shows they close at 6:00 pm. If I knew they close at 6 I would have came back. Im sitting here in the waiting area after they close because I did not pay attention to the sign. Would highly recommend TINO and the discount crew. I have been up here 2x now torturing Jacob & several times over the phone! I want tomake sure I am getting the right tire for my truck ... pricing ... warranty ... size ... etc! He has been very patient & accommodating ... would highly recommend to seek him out if you want someone to take care of you & not just feel like a number off a factory line! UPDATE: I finally pulled the trigger & got my tires. This journey started before Christmas & finally I can say I'm done! With all my research & all of Jacob's advice I was able to make a confident decision regarding my tires. Being that it's a lifted truck & cane with big tires this isn't an inexpensive choice. Jacob truly helped get me the best price & was very easy to deal with! read more

This Discount Tire location has let me down. I came here to rotate my tires. I have a full-size spare that I alternate with the other four wheels. When my car finished, I noticed the spare wheel wasn't rotated. I could tell because I remembered a few distinguish markings on the tire. I returned to the store, told them what had happened, and the car went back in line again for the work. When I got my vehicle back the second time, I noticed the spare tire was still not rotated. I informed the Discount Tire staff again, and their excuse was they could not find my lug nut key. Why couldn't someone call me? They have been caught in the act. I wonder if they even rotated my tires on the first round or did they pass my car through as complete without any work done. How many other vehicles have gone through unnoticed like this? I recommend going to a different DT location. read more

Wife's car's tire pressure light came on so I drove out with the kids to get it checked out. Kids fell asleep by the time we made it out there so I pulled into the free air check area. There was about 25 mins until close. The guy waved me in to the garage so I pulled in and jumped out. I told him the tire indicator light came on and when I went to fill it up I heard a hissing noise. I asked if he could check for any nails. He tells me that he can add extra air in the tire to hold me over night and I can come back at 8a when they reopen. I told him I didn't have time to come back until after work tomorrow. He then tells me that the cold weather will make the tire lose 6-8 lbs and that he'll just add extra air. So I drive back home and I still hear the hissing noise. I look around on the tire and of course I see a screw. I get that they can't help that my wife drove over a screw but we've been long time customers of Discount and it's not a good look for them. I bout this tire from them, only a couple weeks ago. I'd love to get a refund so I can go somewhere else to purchase my tire. read more
