I went in because I had low air and they found a nail in my tire. They took my car and they got a plug done pretty quick even though they appeared to be busy. The guy behind the counter was really nice. He actually had a personality and acted as if he cared about customer service. I know that sounds crazy but in this day and age, most people seem to act like they hate their jobs. Also, the last time this happened, I took my car somewhere else and the tire light wouldn't turn off. The place I took it to before told me that I just had to drive it and let my car relearn and eventually the light would go off. Discount tire brought out a little tool and just fixed it for me right there on the spot. I prefer it that way. Having the light stay on just made me nervous like something was gonna happen. I definitely recommend. read more

The guys greeted me immediately, even though they were busy with other customers or on the phone. They were pleasant to speak with and willing to go the extra mile to help me. I had a very large vehicle and trailer that was difficult to disconnect for several reasons. They were out of their way to help me get my tires situated and get me back on the road. Thanks yall. read more

Yep, that's right, I'm giving 5 stars to Blake and Hudson tonight! I rolled up AFTER HOURS with a leak in my tire that was happening as I was sitting there - they jacked up my car, checked my tire and then Jon swooped in and FIXED MY TIRE all in less than 20 minutes. I couldn't be more thankful and blessed by these young men just being helpful on a Friday night! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! read more

I was attended by Kelly white male in his mid 40s and he ask me what service did I need so I told him and he refused and insisted to up sale me instead of attending to the services I wanted to pay for and he said he could not give me no service. I've Never experienced this at Discount tire locations in the city of Dallas. So instead I went to Discount Service in the city of Dallas and they happily did the services I wanted with no problem. To me it seems like this worker man Kelly in Rockwall discount tire location is working on commission and is trying to attend customers with what they don't need & instead he's probably up selling the community and the people of Rockwall. So if you enter this location please be careful with Kelly he will probably make you spend money for his profit and not worried about helping you for what you need but make you buy for commission on his paycheck. Makes me wonder how many people of Rockwall Kelly is up selling for no reason and profiting for his own paycheck vs helping people with good tire service. read more

Fast and Happy to sell tires, but a complete burden on the buyer when in need of service, such as tire rotation or fixing a puncture. I have purchased four sets and quoted a ninety-minute wait for both puncture and rotation repairs. As far as Value, I would rather pay an extra $50-$100 for a set of tires that can help extend the life of the tires. The culture of this location in the past 18 months has no gone down hill, it's fallen over the edge and so has the corporate customer service department. Rockwall Discount Tire read more

I ordered online my tires came in without an appointment and they saw me! Even though there was soooo many people in front of me. It did take a while so I had my husband come pick me up. But overall very very easy and they are so helpful and friendly. We just keep coming back! read more

Great experience at this location. Had a huge nail in my tire. They were slammed with business, but was able to get me in after some time. Luckily, they were able to fix the tire at no cost! They also fixed the air pressure in my brand new car, as the dealership had overfilled them by 10 psi. Great customer service. Very professional and friendly read more

In Dec 2024, had a bad tire which they gave me a new one. Fast forward to April 2025, had a flat, called AAA who came to change it only to find my lug nut tool missing so had to have it towed home. Next day after speaking to Robert who told me they had lots of boxes of lug nut tools that he was sure they had one for my car. I told him i was sure they did because they apparently kept mine. Towed the car to get it fixed & get my lug nut tool. If you go to this location, make sure you get any tools they use that belong to you back! I will NEVER go to this location again. read more

Had a tire with a nail in it. Couldn't get a gummy replacement due to the radial wires being so tight. So I put the nail back in with the gummy at the head of the nail to reduce air leaks. I figured if i bought two new tires this would be easy to get done in a hour. As soon as the sales guy comes out he says I need a new tire and they can't fix tires with gummies. Said it was at the head of the nail just to hold it in and not in the tire. He did say he would look at it. 20 minutes later they say they can't fix the tire. They didn't even try and if they had looked they would have seen the gummy was not in the tire. So instead they over inflated the tire and I got it fixed down the street. Also their tires were overpriced by 30 dollars. Don't recommend ever doing anything with this store. Go to another discount tire or swing over the bridge to rowlett. read more

I was told my run flat was repairable. That's not recommended by the manufacturer of the tire. I was told to bring my car on in but never told I would have to wait 2.5 - 3 hours before I would even get my car looked at. But then told the journey tracker was correct and I would get my car in between 5:35-5:55 pm. This is my second bad encounter with Discount Tire within a month Their customer service and communication sucks! Just be straight forward and tell the truth. I'm not opposed to making an appointment, but even then the wait is ridiculous too. Most of the time I have to bring my computer and work half the day from DT. read more

Most tire brands are available at fair prices. If you choose the Road-Hazard Warranty, they are good about honoring it. If you decline the R-H warranty, they still honor the pro-rata mileage warranty. They have always treated me fairly. They have many basic aftermarket wheels. If you want domething exotic, or a lot larger than factory sizes - you will need to buy those elsewhere. Get an appointment if possible, but still expect to wait - they stay busy. Avoid weekend days if possible; they are very busy. I've used Discount Tire for decades, but hesitated to review such an established company. It is like reviewing WalMart; everyone already knows the pros & cons. But after a recent disaster with a competing tire company, I realized that Discount Tire may not be exciting or new, but the fact that they are FAIR is a huge plus. read more

They ask for your phone nunber to send you a text when its done. They didnt. I had to walk 30mins right back before they closed when i couldve walked back 30mins earlier... and then they dont clear your flat tire after changing it or check any of the other tire pressures my left one was 26 when i got there and left. When tires should be at 35. Then i come back a few days later to get it cleared and the guy is outside for 1min and as soon as he sits in my car he turns my air all the way down to 60 and the speed all the way up with the door open like who tf are you. Your not paying for that air i asked you to clear something which takes a couple minutes. Like be fr you got that hot that fast. I hope i never go here again. And didnt even know what he was doing at first just kept pressing random buttons while i watched himuntil he finally got out and actually did it right read more

Had a flat tire and went to get a patch. It was me and my 3 year old son. We lived further away and they had a couple of minutes before closing.. last time I checked when it's that closing time, that is when the job is over not before then. The two young boys (one with glasses the other is Indian or Hispanic) told me they didn't have time to patch it and one even tried to say it wasn't repairable at all. I begged them since I lived farther away and they replied "you can go inside and try but I doubt anyone will help you". So, I got my son out and went inside and everyone in the shop looked at me and ignored me. I left. I will NEVER go here for tires again. All I know is if it was a man of an older age he wouldn't of thought twice about helping someone get home safely.. couple of mins to closing or not. I was highly disappointed. read more

As a female, I appreciate the respect and customer service I receive when I go here. This has always been my go to place for tire problems and I have never had an issue. Always courteous and quick. Very friendly staff. I appreciate their free touch up service when the air in my tires goes down in the cold weather. One caveat to this, the new tire should go in the front? And I wish they would have checked and aired up all tires. read more

We were passing through town with our 5th wheel when the tire pressure monitor told me one of the trailer tires was loosing air. Discount Tire was the closest Tire Store and boy and I glad they were. Although the waiting room and parking lot was packed, they got me in about 30 minutes, replaced a tire stem and had me on the road in less than an hour. AND - they didn't charge me a penny, even though I was from out of town and the tires were OEM. Very nice people, efficient and polite. How does this location not have 5 stars? Hannah was the sales person and was very nice and I was in and out in no time . Great customer service.

I made an appointment online the day before and came in the next morning for service. I bought my tires when making the appointment so the website guaranteed a quick service. Upon arrival Kelly greeted me and went over necessary material, he was awesome. He recommend some add ons to my service and I felt that he had my best interest at heart. He said my car would be ready within the hour and 40 minutes later I was out the door! I highly recommend making your appointment online if you plan on coming in. They looked pretty busy with walk-ins and the wait looked to be quite some time. read more

Ordered tires and paid for them ahead of time. Made an appointment for first thing in the morning set for a few days later. I arrived at 7:40 the day of my appointment to find several people already waiting for them to open at 8:00. They opened the doors at 7:45 and VERY EFFICIENTLY took care of each person that was waiting. They asked me what I needed and I stated that I had an appointment. The gentleman called me by name, took my keys and 15 minutes later I was on my. To say I was pleased is an understatement. GREAT customer service. I will return and recommend you shop here. I picked up a piece of metal in the side of my tire. Wasn't losing air. Took it right over. I had the road hazard Warrenty so they said no problem, except they had to order the tire from a different store. Ok. I waited till the next day and called. It's not here yet, maybe Monday or Tuesday. Ok. Wednesday I called cause they had not. I see where they ordered it, but it's not here. Let me put in another order. I called again on Sunday. Didn't say it was there, but he said he would go look because it should be there. And it was! I took it in close to close and they got it on in about 15 minutes. The guys there are nice and quick moving. They need to work on the call back and checking of orders. I have often had this problem with this chain. (The store I was using in Charlotte, NC had the same problem, but the guys working there were not as nice about it. I went to the other side of town for better service). read more

Stay away. Horrible service. Lost my work order and had me sit for an hour and a half without starting work. I had an appointment, but that didn't matter. No manager around. No apology read more

This place did their job so well! I found a tiny screw in my front, passenger side tire that was causing my tire light to come on. I could get by, through pumping air into it every 2-3 days until I could make it over to Discount Tire to get it repaired. They opened at 8 a.m., but when I got there at 7:50 a.m. the shop was already working in full force. I asked John, the man helping me, about their opening schedule, and he said they try to open a little early on Saturdays to keep up with the weekend rush. I was in and out of there in about an hour and a half, which i believe to be pretty normal without an appointment. If you want to avoid the line/wait, I would recommend making an appointment on their website... that's what I'm going to do next time. Otherwise, I had a very positive experience at this location for my tire repair. Also, they did this repair free of charge! read more

This is absolutely the worst tire store you could possibly go to. The manager is rude, and they will rip you off any way they can. They work is sub-par, and the will strip your threads, lose your locking lugs, as well as any custom rim caps. Nothing will be returned and the manager will say tough "sh1t". ANY other tire store in Rockwall is better than this one. read more

Slow. Been here 2 hours and they haven't touched my truck yet. I got here on a wednesday at 1:30 and this is just insane. It's like this every time unfortunately. At least there is a long wait and super nasty bathrooms. Seats are soft though. Thank God read more

Absolutely AWFUL service. Went in to get rims I bought mounted to the current tires I have. I was quoted $180 on the phone, went in and was charged $380 and sold a package I told them I didn't want. I called the Terrell store to get an quote for the same thing and was quoted 197.26. After get that my truck back, and telling them I was told "it's because we are a high volume store" so another 15 minutes of arguing I was asked why I didn't just go there, refunded for the package, and told to just go there next time. If you get someone named Kelly, just don't even bother giving them your money. Absolutely terrible experience and I will not be coming back read more

Had a great experience at Discount Tire today. They fix a flat tire for us and had us on our way in a flash. Prior to this experience, we've used DT for years at their I-30 Garland star, and after moving to Rockwall recently, the local store affirmed the same professional, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly service we've learned to expect at DT. I generally like this place and like the service but the music they play here leaves much to be desired - especially if you're going on an hour waiting for them to take a nail out of your tire. I don't really have anything bad to say except that I wished they played something other than religious music. I have nothing against Christianity but come on people, can't you play some more mainstream type tunes? When I asked to speak to the manager about it, the young man at the counter said that the music selection was dictated by their regional office in Plano. I've contacted headquarters to express my views and received a response that someone with the regional office would be in touch soon. I will update my review once that happens. read more

My tire light came on as I was driving so I went to the Discount Tire we usually go to. I was greeted horribly by Larry who proceeded to yell at me and the very elderly lady behind me. He told us that the 18 wheeler takes priority and we can leave. Proceeded to wave and say "bye" "leave" "don't come back" as he was yelling at the elderly lady to back up and leave. I said I just needed an air check because my light is on for the front tire. He responded "bye" and motioned to the exit. Don't go to this store! What a shame because Discount Tire is usually nice but I won't go back and certainly won't tell my daughters to go there ever. There are plenty of other options. read more

I had a nail in my tire. I arrived to the location with well over an hour and a half before they closed and was told they did not have time to fix it today. There were at least 4 employees leaning against a truck doing nothing. I purposely bought my tires from this location so that I could take advantage of their maitnence and warranty. Instead I was sent home with no repairs. Well I went to a different location the next day and it turns out all they had to do was pull the nail out it wasn't causing any damage to my tire at all. I have had a low tire pressure light on my car for about a week and I wanted to stop by to ask them if they could see what the tire pressure was because it sometimes changes with the weather. After being ignored by the Rockwall Honda service center, I took my car to Discount Tires of Rockwall and they checked my tire pressure with a great attitude even though they were closing in the next ten minutes. One of my tires had a tire bubble in it and they told me that my car was no longer safe to drive and that I needed to replace it. I ended up needing a whole new tire and asked if I wanted the others replaced since the tread was low without any questions asked as they said "your safety is our number one priority" and they stayed after they were closed to make sure that I was safe to drive with a brand new tires. I cannot recommend this location enough. I would give them 10 stars if I could. James and his team did incredible. read more

I arrived at this location, I called 5 minutes ahead I was taking the exit to arrive. I was quoted a 45 minute wait. He said SEVERAL showed up within 5 minutes of me calling! 45 turned into 3.5 hour minimum. He also told me no other discount tire is less than 3.5 hours. I normally go to the Greenville Discount Tire where I live, and never had a complaint. But Rockwall had the tires in stock for my wife's car so I made the online appointment for 2pm. I arrived at 1:35 and had to wait inline for 10 minutes to get to the counter. The Online Appointment worked well until I asked how long it would take and Nick said 45 minutes. At 2:30 they finally drive the car into the bay. The car was done almost an hour later, the tires and wheels were filthy, they don't wipe anything down or clean up the new tires they just sold, and when I got home to clean them up a TPMS Valve Cap was missing, which they had just rebuilt all 4, and 1 Center Hubcap was only halfway on... They need a line just for Appointments and all the techs need to address the customers waiting, 2 people walked out that were inline in front of me, and completely ignored. read more
