I randomly had a flat and am 1 hour from home. I came by this location because it was closest to me.... I expected it to be busy of course because discount tire always is. They promptly got everything started and they were honest about the wait. So I'm currently waiting here and I am a people watcher. I am so shocked at 1. How hard all these guys work, and 2. How awful some customers can be to them. I have watched MORE customers be so rude to them over wait times while they are clearly running around, sweating, etc. I understand we are paying money as customers.... But the lack of understanding and patience in people is terrible. These guys deserve some recognition with the professionalism they maintained while being spoken to as if they were less than. If I could give everyone who was working today 3pm Saturday 4/4/2026 an 11/10 I would. I had about 3 people make sure I was set at one point. They didn't over charge me, everyone knew what to do, I asked questions and they gave me real answers. Quality of the job was fantastic! I saw my car afterwords and verbally said "wow". I got a flat tire and made an appointment the night before I brought in my car. I got 2 new tires, one to replace the flat and one to keep the tires aligned. My tire was not in stock but they were able to get them in from the vendor same day and had my car back before end of day. I have the certs on my tires so I was able to get the flat tire replacement for free with the certificate. I highly recommend getting the certifications on the tires when you buy new tires. The employees were very helpful, attentive, and very polite to everyone who walked in the doors. read more

He showed up at 9:50am, paid for the tires and was told it would be about an hour. It is now noon and his car is still waiting to be worked on. I understand this is a busy store, but don't take appointments you are too busy for. I came in at 8:15am with one tire needing inspection as it was slowly losing air. Instead of just doing that, they talked me into purchasing 2 new tires when they were obviously way too busy. They told me I'd be out at 10:30am, two hours later, and it's now past that time AND THEY HAVENT EVEN STARTED YET! I would just take my car & leave but they already took my keys & almost $500 from me for this work they can't even get to. Had a 9:15am appointment for a flat tire (to which we had the certificate on for free repair or replacement). Showed up a bit early and dropped off the car. Tire had a piece of metal in. They called and said it the metal made a hole too big to repair so they needed to replace the tire. the tire we had was no longer made. so they needed to order a new one and also said it's not good to have two different tires on the same axel. So they sold us on buying another. Got a call at a 3:20pm that the tire came on and was being installed. Showed up at 5:30pm to pick up and the car was still sitting in the lot with the donut on. Talked to an associate and he said they've busy and we'd be next. Well 4 other cars have since been serviced since arriving. We had an appointment i understand you needed to have the tire delivered. Once delivered, you'd think once an open tech was available, you'd take the care that had a 9:15am appointment and make it a priority. It's now 6:35pm as I'm writing this and still waiting and the car has not been taken back since arriving an hour ago. Update: car was taken back at 6:40pm. Update: car was completed at 6:55pm. At least they have good music playing in lobby which is the only reason for giving a star on this rating. read more

I called this location after getting a flat while waiting for the tow truck guy and Steven answered my phone, he was so caring and compassionate when I told him what was going on and reassured me that they would be there for me as soon as the spare tire was put back on in a needed service. I checked my car in at 8:52am this morning for a "quick" tire repair . I was a walk in so I understood that it would be a while for the service to get completed. The rep gave me an estimated start time of 11am. And a completion time of 1155am. It's now 1245 and the car hasn't been started. I called once and got an adjusted estimate given to me. I called again and the technician told me that the computer algorithm schedules people and that there's nothing that he could do to move my car up the line. The bigger issue for me is the lack of proactive communication about the service. I've called in a couple of times and been told adjusted estimates, but I'm still waiting for my vehicle to get started. Most of the time when I've been to discount tire for purchases or service the quality has been really good. So needless to say, I'm very disappointed with my experience today Customers need to be proactively informed about the status of their vehicles service. Especially when they're waiting for the car. The responsibility shouldn't be on the customer to manage that communication. If I had known this would be my experience , I would've gone to a different discount tire. But because my tire is damaged I didn't have a choice but get this solved today. And I thought that the location that sold me, my tires would be the most invested in helping me get back up and running. I guess I was wrong. read more

I was told 2 hours for a simple patch job and a fresh tire. It's been 2 hours at the time of this review and they haven't touched my vehicle yet. Apparently it's now a 2.5 hour wait for a 15 minute procedure (took approx 25-30 minutes). Can't you just say 3 hours? Disappointed is an understatement. VERY UNFORTUNATE: - Long time, 3 time Discount Tire Customer - 3 sets of tires bought for 3 different vehicles - 1st time purchase and install at this location RESULTS: - Rim was damaged in process - Discount Tire has accepted responsibility - Discount Tire's solutions were not acceptable for the error (they would require to keep the car for days or inconvenience your schedule in order to use their company they use for rim repairs using their discounted price, at your inconvenience - We asked to be made whole by Michael and Patrick as it is not good business practice to fail the customer and not properly make the customer whole where they should be, in a convenient manner - After asking for a mobile rim repair we have not heard from them - Worst part is I recommended them from past experience CONCLUSION: If your rims are already scratched and you don't mind that they could add some more damage and then tell you to get lost afterwards, then this location is or you! read more

I have been a loyal customer of Discount Tire since 2008. This location is the closest to me but I go back to this specific location every time because of the customer service. The Manager Stephen is always attentive and friendly. The Assistant Manager Ryan helped me today. I came in because I had one flat tire. They both expressed concern for my safety driving on two of the other old worn tires. When I told them I couldn't afford to replace more than the one tire that was flat until late January, they helped get me on a lay-away plan with no money down or interest, and replaced the tires today! The staff that I dealt with were incapable at best and lazy as hell at the worst. I went to the store on Monday morning and after not hearing from the store, I checked back on Wednesday and they hadn't done anything to get my tire. The last that I heard from the store was that they were sending another email. It's a mystery who they were emailing! I asked for the regional managers contact information which they would not provide to me. This store should be closed until they are all retrained. They are an embarrassment. I finally got fed up with the lack of progress and called the Scottsdale road location, and they ordered the tire while I was on the phone and installed it 2 days later. How can there be such a difference between stores? This is not the first issue we've had at this store but it will be the last! I will never go back to the bell road store. I have put a call in to the regional manager so he can deal with his sub par employees. This place sucks and Mark is a idiot don't be fooled by him speaking all polite those are the ones you can't trust but on Tuesday June 4 2024 ( NOT ALL DISCOUNT TIRES ) you make an appointment and your car doesn't get done for another 2 hours what the hell do I make an appointment then you have to fight tooth and nail for them to give you credit on a tire that shouldn't even be sold that wore out in less then 10k miles . Then when you tell them you been waiting they tell car will be fine in 25mins. Why the hell wasnt it done at 30 mins after I had my appointment. Just so you know all the great reviews are fake they tell people to give good reviews for free air check. There customer service as gone to shit just like everywhere elese. I'll be taken my business to Scottsdale location they have way better customer service. I have used this location several times over the last few years and I have been impressed each time. The guys who work here are SO nice and pleasant to work with. I went in today (without an appt) for a tire leak at probably one of the worst possible times - a Monday at 9am. They were moderately busy and I also only had a two hour window available to wait.. I knew this would be inconvenient and asking a lot of them so I told them I could schedule an appt for another day if that would be better. They did not seem at all annoyed by my time constraints or lack of appt and had me in and out with a repaired tire in 45 minutes. I will continue to return here for all future tire needs and would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

We've gone in twice to get our tires rotated and both times took 15-30 min to just get to the cashier. They answer the phone several times instead of helping the customers who are waiting in the store. I'm sure they do a good job but can't review that because they won't even help customers standing in line. Maybe they're short staffed but we had an appointment for 12:30 and ended up leaving the store at 12:45 because we couldn't even get to the cashier in time. read more

I was particularly impressed by Chance, who was manning the front desk when I went in. These guys fixed my leak and didn't charge me a penny. The customer service is laughibly bad. The short female counter attendant clearly wants to be anywhere but here. Definitely won't be back. Will drive farther to avoid giving this location my $$.
