Thursday night (12/19/24) I discovered I had a flat tire. I figured since I recently bought a set of four tires from Jensen, and gave my daughter my gold card to get her a set of tires, I'd call Jensen at 7am on Friday morning. 7 am on Friday 12/20/24 I called Jensen to come in to fix a flat tire. The employee at Jensen apologized, and said they were completely booked for the day. I called discount tire, got a friendly person on the phone, told me to come on down, may be a wait, but if I get there soon, he says I can get out by noon. Go down to Discount Tire give him my keys, my info and I go home. 11:00 I get a text my car is done. Head back down to Discount Tire, where the young man thanks me for entrusting them to repair my tire, and appreciates my patience. I ask how much do I owe and he says, "No Charge!" I learned something new. Just because a business preaches customer loyalty, promises free tire rotation and repair, don't really appreciate your business. Their saying is just a gimmick. I also realized where I WILL NEVER go to again, to buy tires. Thank you Jensen for letting me know I ain't poop, to you. My girlfriend needs tires soon. I assure you we'll go to Discount Tire. This close to Christmas, on a Friday, so thankful Discount Tire did not turn me away. read more

I called Discount Tire after I realized I had a slow leak in one of my tires and thankfully they were able to take walk ins the same day without an appointment. The whole process from the time I arrived to me back in my car with a patched nail hole was about 2 hours. A little longer than they quoted me, but I expected this much given I was a walk in and didn't have an appointment. The staff and technicians here were great and handled everything from start to finish with professionalism. Best of all, for a simple tire patch (nail repair) it is free of charge! I'm not certain why this site doesn't always get 5 stars. The staff was courteous, friendly and extremely efficient. They had our flat fixed in 30 minutes and managed to process a line of 8 people in under 20 minutes. I highly recommend them. read more

I waited an hour, which I didn't mind to get a screw taken out of my tire. The employee informed me that my tires were too bald to fix and needed to replace. My tires are far from bald and I believe he never intended to fix and only push new tires. read more

When I called shopping around I spoke with Steve. Steve understood that I was calling a place called Discount Tire for a reason, to get cheap tires. He was amazing, very good at customer service and not a pushy salesmen at all. Steve completely won me over when he said he'd match any price and that he'd love a chance to earn me as a customer. Customer service is very important to me and to me that is understanding what the customer is looking for and accommodating that. I bragged about Steve to my boyfriend on our way to the appointment. When we got there we were greeted by Brian who took our keys, brought the car in, and called me up to take care of what I thought was the payment. Instead he proceeded to sell sell sell our faces off. I don't think he meant to but he came off as very condescending, saying things like money shouldn't be an issue and he'd never put the tires we were trying to by on his car. I tried multiple times to hint that we were just trying to get the tires we originally talked to Steve about but he wouldn't have it, pulling my boyfriend and I over to the tires and teaching us what tread is. To be honest, he made us feel like we really didn't have the option to buy the original tires we wanted. When he realized two broke 22 year olds weren't going to spring for "the same $700 tires he puts on HIS truck" he pushed the tires that were just slightly better than the ones we were going to originally purchase. We finally agreed to not only the tires but also signing up for a credit card even though we kept telling him we had the money to pay it all right then and there. To top it off, as my boyfriend was filling out the card application, he made the comment, "THAT'S how much you make?" Yes, we all can't be wildly successful tires salesmen, can we? Aside from Brian, we were very impressed with how quickly the tires were changed. And Steve is a damn gem. I bought the last two sets of tires at this location but I will never go there again. Called ahead, dropped off my car and was told 1.5 hours. I went back after two hours, I figured even if they weren't done I would just sit and wait. When I got dropped off I saw my car in the same spot and no tires on it yet. I walked inside, all the sales guys were gone, an installer came out and asked if I was picking up. I explained I was here for the car still in the lot untouched. His response was "oh that the next one we'll be bringing in". I informed him not to bother and asked for my keys, he handed them to me with an attitude like I was wrong for pulling my car without the tires. I know what happened, the people sitting waiting came in after me and wanted to wait so they serviced them first thinking they already had my sale. I did a ton of research before deciding on a set of tires for my 4Runner. Stopped in dealt with Carl and his crew. They matched the lowest price I could find on the net for a set of Cooper Discoverers ATP's in my size. They had every guy in the shop doing something working on my truck. Eli even set up a rim on my truck so I could see what they would look like. They treated me as good as anywhere I have been for tires. They care about the customer and youre vehicle as if your family. The guy in charge of the shop (Eli) was excellent to work with he checked everything out before the job was done and put on a better spare on the truck as well. I would highly recomend these guys! I had a slow leak in on of my tires and had no idea why or if it was repairable. I went to Discount Tire because it was on the way home from work but when I arrived I found that if the tire could be repaired safely they would repair it at no cost to me. Some places may use that as tactic to get you to buy the tire but it was a pleasant surprise when they said they were able to fix it at no cost to me. The polite sales associate then explained what stage my tires were in and wrote down a few different quotes for me to take home. It was a very great experience and I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family. read more

DID NOT get ripped off! Yesterday, I took my car to Discount Tire Store around 168th and Maple, because the two front tires slowly leaked air. I expected to buy two Michelin tires, out the door, for around $350. But, I asked Carl of Discount Tire to check the problem, first. He advised that the slow leaks were due to corrosion, which he removed, so buying new tires was not necessary after all. Needless to say, I was delighted. My recommendation is to go to this location of Discount Tire, and be sure to ask for Carl, the manager. read more
