Today I braved the roads after de-icing my car and was immediately notified that my tires needed air so I went directly to the discount tire in Manor. When I pulled up I noticed that this new location had a really cool covered area dedicated to service check in on one side and air check on the other side! Love this new concept! When I pulled up there was no one waiting so I was helped immediately. The airtech was super friendly and I even asked him if he was okay, if he needed gloves or anything and he said, "no it's not that bad out here." Meanwhile it's barely 30° And I was freezing inside my car with the heat on. He definitely was going above and beyond for customers today so I'm sure he does it on the regular. Walked in and inquired about a tire repair. Rey, an advisor with a dope fresh cut assisted me and gave me information on the tire repair, etc. I came back to get the repair done the same day and Cam, a tech that was assisting Charlie the Challenger was very kind and personable. The wait took a while because when they get busy, they get BUSY. But while waiting in the waiting room, I did observe that the entire staff from the advisors from the front to the techs in production, they all work together as a team. i needed 4 new tires and one new wheel for my car. since getting the tires put on my car one has gone flat per day, for 2 days. Also, a 3rd one has started leaking air out of the valve stem. The one that hasn't shown any issues yet has a completely different valve stem from the other 3. im 90% sure I just unknowingly got sold tires with 3 bum valve stems, and who knows when the 4th one is going to give out as well. When I went in and talked to them about it the first time, somehow nobody could find any issues so they said "we just threw that one away and put a new one on for you." Then when I went in the second time, he said the issue was a corroded valve stem. They happily replaced it for free. Ok, great, I've finally gotten to the bottom of this right? I asked can you please just triple check the other two tires to make SURE that this doesn't happen again? "yes of course no problem." he said he didn't see anything wrong with the other ones and the chances of this happening a third time are "one in a million." That's when I get home to find AIR LEAKING OUT OF THE THIRD TIRES VALVE STEM???? Yeah one in a million my ass. today I'm going in to demand the other 2 replaced even if you don't see anything wrong with them, and a refund so I can take my business elsewhere. I spent my entire 2 days off from work with plans to hang out with my girlfriend and get my license to serve alcohol back because it expired, and all I had time to do was pull my hair out over these goddamn tires because any attempt to drive anywhere would lead to another flat tire. So now I'm 700 dollars poorer than I was a few days ago with new tires that are causing me 1000x more headache than my 14 year old BALDIES were causing me a week ago. Thanks for absolutely nothing discount tire. I was going to put 2 stars because at least they were happy and willing to change the tires for free, but the fact that they didn't find anything wrong with the tires not once not twice but 3 times!? within 72 hours!? completely negates any second star that I could try and squeeze out. UPDATE: they admitted fault, put new valves in all of the tires even the one that looked ok from the outside, and gave me a full refund. granted, while plenty of mistakes were made that led me to this point, the staff remained customer friendly and willing to help me out personally throughout the whole process. I think the issue here is that this mentality to satisfy everybody leads to half assed jobs. this isn't their fault I'm sure but more how they are trained to work. get jobs done as fast as possible and move on to the next customer. this , I'm assuming, is what led to faulty tires being put on my car, and then multiple employees not seeing the corroded valves on my tires. I will say if you have a relatively easy job that you need done fast, this place is probably perfect for that. I personally will probably not be returning. read more

Customer service is awesome and they do a great job taking care of the customer. I had new tires and an alignment done. I was there a little longer due to my alignment being a pain but everyone working there stopped to make sure I was taken care of. For a new location they run like well oiled machine. Management all the to techs do a great job. The new set up was also great and helped stuff run smoother. read more
