I had my front right tire completely blown out during my drive to work. I hopped on their website and scheduled an appointment to have my tire replaced for the same morning. I arrived shortly after they opened, explained to them what happened, and was immediately helped. I didn't need to wait a few hours for my scheduled appointment. Dominick assisted me with my situation and was very helpful throughout the process. He was very transparent with my tire situation and provided a way forward for my damaged tire, ordered a new tire, and used my remaining tire as my new spare tire. He provided details regarding my tires' tread, life span, and just did a phenomenal job overall. read more

A blow out is unnerving enough, then have to be driving on the little donut spare. DT-Killeen made getting a new tire that matched my other ones a cake walk! I received notice by email of the morning appointment. Check in on line that I was on my way and they knew when I arrived at store and greeted me so I didn't even have to wait in line to get to the counter. Could not have been a smoother transaction. Very pleased. I was nervous I would not be able to find a matching tire to my other 3 I had purchased 2 years earlier. They had one! Awesome! Saved me from having to buy more than one. read more

Usually have good experience in Discount Tire where we live in Houston. Cannot say the same for this one unfortunately. We drive to the area to purchase a used truck. We were on a time crunch to get back to Houston. We settled for four tires we weren't thrilled about but the sells person said that was the only ones they had for our vehicle in stock. That was after waiting almost 20 minutes to even talk to anyone. They said it would be 1-1.5 hours. We left to eat lunch. About 35 minutes later we get a call saying the tires we bought they did not have in stock! WHAT?? I really don't understand how that happens! We agreed on fours others. We got back after lunch to find our truck "ready". I went to back it out and the tires rubbed on the finders. About 1.5 hours later we finally leave with the tires we wanted originally that the first guy said they did not have. To top it off we get back to Houston to find the middle hubcap missing on the drivers side rear and the others were loose and almost falling off!!Will not be back to that Discount again. The least they could have done for the screw up and wasted time was discount our purchase!! read more

Brother went in looking for one tire due to his tire getting a flat, used tire quote was $196.... ( keep in mind we alr had the rim off the car and were going to install it ourselves later) definitely recommend a place like "One Stop Tire Shop" in Killeen, who quoted me $70 for used tire and install and even gave me a slight discount for being military. Do not I repeat do not pay $200 for a single used tire even if you're in dire need of one. read more

I will just start with 30 Minutes! Thats literally how long it took from start to finish from pulling up to driving off. My mother had bald tires, you could literally see all of Lincoln's head =) The night before the appt I was able to book a next day, early morning appointment. Quick and easy and definitely worth the price. Upon arriving we were greeted and the vehicle was immediately then taken into the garage and work began. The only qualm that I have right now is that the place is currently under construction. So their waiting area is literally a very small trailer, not comfortable at all. However, the associate took two chairs out for my mother and I and we barely sat down before we were being told the car was ready. If I'm in need again for tires or if you are, make your way there and get it done! read more

Probably the pushiest salesmen I've ever had to deal with, made a three minute scheduling appointment 20. Pushing sales just lost one.

Got my tire changed fast! Prices were also pretty reasonable! Walmart said they couldn't unlock a lugnut, but discount tire got it done in less than 20 minutes AND fixed a sensor issue free of charge! Going here from now on! read more

I never going back again I come back 11:17am to drop off my tire and I ask the guy if they can put my tire back when my stuff was ready he said yes they can. I get a text from discount tire stating my tire was ready then I get there and another guy had told me it be a 30 mins wait and even tho they had my tire for almost 1 hour. Their service was terrible from the beginning. I never had a problem there until today who ever is the store manager make sure your team knows how to put correct information before a customer leaves before hand. read more

I used Klarna to pay for a tire I wanted to replace 2 of my tires because they were both bad but I could only afford one with my Klarna app but Willie finagled it to where I could get both tires replaced for the exact amount that the app put on the one tire so I can drive safer and not have to pay again later for another tire read more

Tires are probably the best price around. They can get you pretty much any tire you want. Easy to order and schedule an appointment. But the scheduled time is a lot like a Dr. Appointment. When you arrive a little early, get checked in you will get an estimated time of completion. Your vehicle will not make it into a bay by that completion time. Schedule at least 2 hours out of your day with an appointment, and schedule at least 2 hours out of your day without an appointment. I'm not sure what an appointment really does for you. Today is about my 6th time and a 2 to 4 hour wait each time. You'll save money, but lose time. read more

Superior service every time!! Attentive, friendly, efficient, professional! Highly recommend.

Awesome shop! The Discount Tire shops in my area were booked all morning on Saturday and since I was going to be in the area I made an appointment for 11:30am. I arrived at 11:25am and waited at the appointment desk for a service member to help me. Tyrel came by and checked me into my appointment. I asked how long it would take since I had to be somewhere at 12:30pm and he explained how many cars were in front of me and that the tire rotation and balance service takes 45 minutes to an hour. We were out of there quick! It took less than 30 minutes. Thanks guys for the quick and prompt service. read more

I've gotten very good service and great, competitive prices here over the years. Their model seems straightforward: good service, good quality tires, great prices. Mike recently really took his time with me to explain some issues with my vehicle's tires and to ensure that I got value for money on my new set. Definitely recommend. read more

Great service, always busy but if you schedule ahead or go early you'll be in good hands!

Omg ....Today was a day for me , I had got a hilt stuck into my tire and I immediately drove to discount tire. I soon checked in and James was a great help. At first he checked my tires for me and told me that two of my tires were badand needed to be changed . I spoke with Manny over the phone and told him that I needed to be in Austin at a certain time and he quickly got me in within five minutes. Manny you made my day , thank you for that . I made an appointment at 12:00... I'm still waiting for my car to be serviced and while I write this it is 12:41. I've been buying my tires from discount tires since I got my first car 17 years ago and the service has never been below excellent for me and my family. I usually have a good experience here. Everyone is nice and pretty helpful. After my last tire change however, they did not replace all the nuts on my tires. Only one tire had the full set and the other three were missing one. They were instead in a bag in my glove compartment. I had been driving for 4 months and was okay, but we called anyway to tell them because I could have got in an accident. Their response was "well if you did it would have happened in the first few days." If I ever go back to this location I will definitely make sure not to just trust they did their job, but to check the tires in more detail before I leave. read more

This place is wonderful! Soon as I parked the car there was a staff walking towards the car already. So glad I came in early, since this place is always crowded. I was greeted by Chris and told him that I needed brand new tires. He did the usual tire inspection and we went inside and checked the best tires for what I need. The Continental tires came up first, and I really wanted Michelin's but they didn't have the tires in stock. So I decided to get the tires and Chris told me that it will take abut 30 to 35 minutes wait. He explained to me all the details, I.e warranty, etc.... and I also receive a 70 dollar rebate in which I will have to mail. I think that was good. The staff are really good and I observed while they were working on my car, they work as a team which was great! And my car was ready in about 30 minutes. That's why I love coming to this place. The service is always great! Chris was great in customer service and he does it all!!! Thank you discount tire for having such a great workers... read more

The whole staff is professional and don't try to talk you into buying or using services you don't need. They inspect the tires with you so you can see what they see and explain to you based on a graph board where you tires are at. If you schedule a service, they get you in and out! Love coming to this place. Cons: Wish they have alignment services. It would be a one stop shop for me...buy tires, get them rotated every 6,000 miles, and get me an alignment when needed. read more

Worst experience Ive had at Discount Tire yet. Often times go to the one in Cove some times Temple but this time I stopped here for a flat tire. They did repair the tire but left it under inflated I had to take it to a gas station and air it up for the light on my pickup to shut off. They also did not fasten my spare tire back up under the bed proper. I was hearing a noise when I accelerate and brake only to find that my spare tire was left just hanging under the pickup. Never have I ever had this problem in cove or temple. read more

Discount Tire - Waiting area - Tires Near Me - Killeen, Texas

I try to avoid this location mainly due to the long wait time. I've waited up to 4 hours. If you come earlier in the day (preferably during a weekday), it's not so bad. Since this is a military town, definitely avoid payday weekends because it will be really crowded. I suggest going to the Temple location as an alternative. It's not really busy when I go. On second thought, something tells me I might regret suggesting that... Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm Sat 8am-5pm Sun Closed read more

I have to say I'm so happy with the service I received today. Everyone here was outstanding. They went around asking if you needed anything. Kept you informed on what was going on and when you vehicle was next to be taken back. I also received an amazing deal on my wheels/rims. I can't believe the young men here. And the manager Sly was just as amazing to me. For me to get the deal I receive today.?? I have to thank Deandre for all his help as well. He wouldn't let me out the door without the deal I got today, so thank you so much sweetie. HATS OF TO THIS DISCOUNT TIRE!! I haven't been here in years, so I'm assuming it is under new management. This shop always does good, quality work. However, the office management is incredibly inefficient today. There is a line of people to check in, a line of people to check out, people lining the waiting room waiting for their cars to be finished and random people checking people in, chatting them up about what their older car is and what their own wife drives, meanwhile No forward movement is happening. we came in to just pick up a car that is finished and have been waiting a good 20 minutes with no one even making eye contact or acknowledging us here in the vehicle pick up line. read more

I was disappointed with the service. I called Thursday morning to fix the slow leak in my tire. I explained to the customer service rep my problem, he assured me that he was open and could fix my tire. So a while ago i placed an online order for tires and came in to have the services done, everything was good Jacob got me checked in etc. Now lets fast forward to end of service. I dont remember the young mans name but i know he had long blonde hair. he told me my vehicle was ready handed me my keys and i loaded up into the car and left as i left the parking lot heading towards the highway (with me being a mechanic) i noticed my vehicle pulling to the right which wasnt happening when i brought the vehicle so i went back and found the same young man that handed me the keys. He tried to tell me that because my tires were 2 different brands (not size or tread but brands?!) thats why my car was pulling to the right so i asked him to rotate my tires and put the ones i just bought to the front and he did that, cudos or whatever. Well lets fast forward to today, still have those same tires Ive reached an opportunity where i could use a lift to service my own vehicle so i did my own tire rotation and just like i suspected after doing so those same two different brand tires didnt pull any direction at all and my car drove normal with no issues so because i was lied to due to laziness or plain old stupid and this is my second issue with the company, I will not be returning to discount tire anymore. My suggestion get a better team or find better help read more

I use Discount Tire for all my tire needs with their numerous locations I know there is usually one nearby no matter where my travels may take me. Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We were enjoying our coffee outdoors when we took a glance at our car and observed that one tire was going flat. What a pain... We used temporary measures to inflate the tire and drove it to this location afterwards. It was during peak afternoon hours on a payday Friday so there was a brief wait time. The associates were wonderful and assured the patrons in line that they would soon be helped. They worked briskly to assist customers ensuring reasonable service times. My associate explained options without being pushy. I also requested tire rotation as well. I just wanted to fix the tire while wanting time to consider replacing all the tires which coincidently needed to done soon. He assessed it and service took about an hour which was fine because this location is surrounded by many eateries and retail outlets to visit. They contacted us when it was done and I pulled out my debit card as I arrived to checkout. That is when I got the total balance of $0.00 and was told that tire repairs and service was free. I was shocked knowing that this was easily a costly expense at other tire specialty stores. Sometime passed and I knew I really needed to replace my worn tires. The steering wheel would slightly shudder when I would drive on highways. I was happy to come here to get all my tires replaced. We explained that it was an older vehicle and that our budget was important to us so that they would suggest reasonable options. They have very good prices starting at 59.99 a tire. They once again gave friendly and speedy service. Now our car drives smoothly like a feather and we can have a piece of mind that it is out of the way. This place is completely awesome and they have earned themselves some lifetime customers. read more

I do not understand why anyone would make an appointment. I had an appointment at 1130. Came in at 1115. Didn't have anyone come to my truck until 1132, since social distancing and new check in procedures are crap. Sitting around waiting at 1145 still waiting for my truck to get taking in. As I watch vehicle get pulled in one right after the other, I ponder why take the effort to make an appointment if they are not going to adhere by it. So far 3 vehicles have been pulled in since 1130. I guess appointment to them means first come first serve. I guess low prices means low customer service. I ended leaving at 1155, because I had stuff to do. Don't use this store. Go to heights or even drive to temple. read more
