The manager Julio was extremely disrespectful. My wife called to try to come to a resolution for our tire warranty issue they refused to honor because he said he didn't have the size I needed, She told him I was there earlier and saw a stack to the ceiling of tires my size and no one had spoken to me while I was waiting to be helped in there for 30 min. When he spoke to my wife after waiting on hold for 10 min he was immediately rude and when asked how we could figure out the issue at hand he began to yell and curse at my wife telling her not to call the store and called her some extremely inappropriate names. She asked for his name four times, he refused to give her his name continued yelling and hung up on her. I drive right to the location to speak with him in person I was told he was busy in the back. I waited for 15 min for him to come out, he had an immediate attitude and told me that he wouldn't honor my warranty and that since my truck is lowered my warranty basically means nothing. I asked him to show me why on my truck and he went out told me two different reasons that I've previously had checked and was told wasn't the issue. He said that he was right so he wouldn't replace the two tires. He then asked who put the tire on (that he previously replaced under the warranty he now refuses to honor) because it was a directional tire and it is on backwards, I told him he did as no one else has touched my tires since him. He then called me a liar and said that he does ALL the tire work and he would know if it was him. I told him again he was the last person to touch the tires, after a few min he changed his story and said that he "probably accidentally put it on backwards but it only matters when it's raining" I asked him if he would fix it since he's admitted it was his error and it does rain, he said I could come the next day and it would take a few hours but he still wouldn't replace the tires under warranty, my only option is to finance new tires. I no longer feel comfortable with him or anyone at that store touching my truck. His lack of attention to details and level of unprofessionalism has made my wife and I never want to do business with the entire company ever again, not only did he encourage us to leave on tires that were unsafe to drive on he declined a warranty we paid for. read more

i came into tis business on friday and they seemed pretty busy, i wanted to get a set of rims and tires for my bf as a surprise and the people here really helped me out, i told them what look i was looking for and most importantly my budget, and they really went above and beyond for me, i was able to find a set of rims and tires for him and was still within my budget, i really like the 90 days same as cash option, and i will be paying these off before any interest hits, the staff there was really nice and were all very profesional, they made you feel welcomed and talked to you like theyve know you for years, the atmosphere was great, they even had the radio playing an old radio station from california that i used to listen too, so that scored extra points. really the only thing i have to complaint about is how long it took, i was there for about an hour and a half, but the manager there kept me in the loop and told me exactly what was going on, theother thing is that some of the employes there dont seem like they like their job, one of the guys that works in the back had a bad attitude and so did the lady that works in the front too, overall my expirience with them was great, they did ask me to write a review and to be honest, and here it is, i really appreciate the manager taking his time and being patient with me and my indecisive ways, but in the end my bf's car looks great and i know hes happy, again thank you. I've been a dedicated customer for years with the Harker Heights business, This will be my last. I received 4 old defective tires that were repo'd, stretched 225 tires on 245 rims Repeatly complaining about leakage, 4 months in my contract the tires were cracked on the seams, nitrogen leakage. Removal of 2 tires, replaced with worst tires with bubbles but They are the professionals. Return the next morning to RTT Harker Heights, cuz the driver side tire was vibrating terribly. I was sent to RTT killeen because HHeights didn't have a replacement tire. Thanks Julio for inspecting the tires. Removing them and replacing them with new 245 tires. I should have came to yr shop in the beginning. Stephanie never knew what she was doing but still the other techs do. The present mgr Stephen should have caught it. They had to be aware the tires were bad especially when I kept complaining about the leakage the vibration and the hydroplaning I was experiencing on worn tires/rims costing me 1200 dollars. This experience will be my last. No comebacks. It's all about the profit. Always get a second opinion and a second check. For you and yr family safety, they don't seem to care. This is my third time coming to this location, the first time it was called rimco, i ended up returning the tires that i had because of the pricing. the second time i came back it was under new management. Rent a tire had taken over and they mean business. since theyve taken over the over all atmosphere at this store is a lot better, it feels like youre welcomed and theyre not just there to get your money. i ended up getting just a set of tires for my truck i returned them cause i was gonna trade my truck in, and it was that easy, i didnt get hassled and the store manager (julio) told me that if i ever needed anything to keep them in mind.A nd now im back with my new car but this time i got rims and tires, and they look great. my cars value has definately gone up, both julio and jeremy helped me out and the instalation didnt take long at all, my payments are affordable and i get great service every time i go in there, i highly recommend Rent a tire if youre in the market for rims or tires or both. ok, so icame here with my bf and he didnt want to take the time to write a review even thou he said he would(loser).lol. we went to rent a tire to upgrade the rims that he has on his impala, from the get go the staff greeted us ver well, and right of the back they made us feel welcomed, no pushy sales, no one after us like of they worked of commission, just really nice, long story short the Geremy helped us out first and we were just gonna get rims but he pointed out that we might want to consider new tires as well, he said that they were in pretty bad shape, i wanted to get a second opinion so i got the store manager and he said the same thing, they looked good but i guess they were dry rotted, so the store manager gave us a great deal on the rims and tires(military discount) Its nice to see that some businesess still give military discounts without having to ask, so hes happy and im happy that he got great customer service, imma recommend you guys at our FRG meetings, you guys ROCK!!! keep up the great work read more

The guys at Rent a tire are great, the people that i got my suburban from said that they went to rimco and was told that the set up they sold me was the right set up but boy were they wrong. the tires were too big and the offset was to high. i told them all this and they still insisted that it was scorrect. Well when i came back, julio helped me out and that was the first thing he noticed. i thought that was pretty impressive that i didnt have to tell him. Well i just wanted some other tires but he gave me a great deal on some rims and tires, so i went for it. Theyre a lot better that what rimco sold me and cheaper. so if you see some 22's on craigslist for sale theyre probably mine. Rent a tire is much more organized than rimco was, i dont feel like im being ripped off, the lady that was there before was a complete mess. I was really pleased with the customer service that i received from this business, i went a couple tims on my own and every time that i did i was welcomed and helped by very nice employes. I went a couple times before i finally ended up finding the right set of rims and tires. i was not pressured at all and was not treated like i have been at other rim shops. The store manager remembered me from one of my other times that i went in there and everything that i was told before from another employe was right on point. Thats a big deal to me because i went to other shops and the pricing or requirements change from person to person, so i really appreciate the honesty. Best rim shop I been to in Killeen. I been to a few out here but this place provided me the best customer service and prices on rims compared to the rest. They have a variety of rims to choose from and if they don't have what you're looking for at their shop, they have Catalogs that you can look through and search for your certain style and need. I bought two sets of rims and tires from here and even after I paid off my account, they took care of me whenever I have issues with my wheels. I recommend you come in and see Julio or any of the staff for all your wheel questions and needs, they are very helpful and honest, guaranteed to set you up for success when it comes to putting new wheels on your ride. Our tires weren't in excellent shape but we were trying to hold off till we had a good payday. Our sensor light has been going crazy these past days. Stopped by discount tire to put air and that is when we were told there is a nail stuck in our tire that cant be fixed and needs a replacement. Its not a good payday week, we dont have any money at this moment. Called around for price quote for tires and it just didnt fit our budget. Finally our brother in law informed us to go to Rent A Tire central express way killeen texas. Awesome news!! They were able to help us out with our situation. The GUYS at rent a tire in Killeen next to Aaron's off of the cen tex express way are AWESOME. Months ago I went in looking for tires for my car "which can be seen at local carshows" and they gave me incredibly fast service and product knowlegde. Thier rent to own program makes is so much easier to get what I want for my vehicles and when I'm finished with my plan ill be ordering new rims thru them. And even when I hit a rough patch and am not able to make my payment Julio always makes sure I'm squared away for me to pay as soon as possible. And with their tires you can opt to have an additional road hazard warranty which I have btw And when I caught a flat they quickly replaced it with a brand new tire.I can't thank these guys enough. I finally decided to go ahead and get some rims and tires from her, and the only thing I regret is taking so long to do it. The guy that helped me out the first time is Jeremy and he seemed to know what he was talking about . But when i went back i got help from the store manager and he really knows what he's talking about. I didn't know that there was so many things that make fitting rims on your car possible. The rims and tires that were put on my car look great. Not to small but big enough to make a statement naw just kidding 24's are big enough, the guys there are great and very knowledgeable. The supervisor or a person of leadership the manager Julio was exceptional ..Not only did he provide customer service he also provided hospitality and sometimes you don't get all that in one even though some people may think it does mean the same thing but it doesn't... I went to a Nissan dealer in Dallas to get an oil change and they didn't balance my tires however they didn't tell me they didn't. I drove to Killeen from Dallas and I noticed my car was riding rough. I went to the Nissan in Killeen and they told me I needed a balance and 4 new tires!!!! I saw Rent a tire across the street and just happen to pull in for a second opinion. My new friend Julio told me that was not the case! All I needed was my tires balanced! He saw how much of a bad day/week/month I was having and decided to do it for free!!! The staff at rent a tire is not only very professional but are also very friendly and concerned with making sure that you leave happy and satisfied with not only their service but also the products that you choose to buy. the atmosphere is really laid back and mellow and they even have couch and television to watch while you wait on your services. The address when placed in gps takes you to car lot that's beside it also. But...once you get there its exceptional service. You might have to wait a while but it's worth the wait.
